《Devil's Rebellious Queen》Chapter 1

😭😥 😓
The door of my office slammed open and Dante walked in, as if he owned the place. He plopped down on the leather black chair and placed his feet on my desk.
"Enzo!" He greeted with a teasing grin on his face.
"Dante, remove your feet from my desk or I'll do it for you," I gritted in anger and turned my attention back to the files.
"Okay, bro. Chill," He teased and smirked, placing his legs down.
"Bastardo," I muttered, shaking my head.
"We caught Marco," He informed making my eyes snap up to him.
"Where is he?" I asked, gripping my pen tightly.
That bastard ran away stealing $5 million from me.
"Tied up in the basement," He replied with a deep chuckle.
"And the money?" I asked.
"We retrieved it," He answered with an evil glint in his eyes and I smirked.
Dante may act childish but in business he is dead serious.
"Let's pay the stronzo a little visit," I said with a smirk and got up.
(Asshole)
He nodded with a sick grin and followed me down to the basement.
The guards bowed their heads in submission and respect as I walked through the gate.
"Dov'è Marco?" I asked, scanning through the cells.
(Where's Marco?)
Dante pointed to last one and I smirked and walked there.
I pushed open the cell gate and saw that fucker badly beaten up and tied on a chair.
This was nothing compared to what I would do. I motioned one of my guards to bring me a chair. He did and I sat on it, facing Marco.
"Marco, Marco, Marco," I said darkly, twirling the gun around my finger.
His lips quivered as he look into my eyes.
"D-Don," He stuttered.
"For how long have you been working for me?" I asked dangerously, leaning towards him.
He stayed silent and his gaze fell down to the floor.
"I asked you something!" I boomed. He gulped.
"Sei anni, Don," He muttered softly.
(Six years, boss)

"Six years. You hear that, guys?" I asked my men guarding the cells.
They nodded curtly.
"You were with me for six years yet you stole from me," I said, shaking my head.
"Don, I didn't have a-a choice. They forced me," He stammered.
"Oh, don't be cliché. What're you gonna say? They blackmailed you and told that if you didn't steal from me, they would kill your wife?" I mocked.
I motioned Matteo, my 3rd in command, to pass me the tape recording.
He complied and I pressed play. Voices of Marco and another guy could be heard.
"You asked for me?" Marco's voice was heard.
"Yes, I did. Have a seat, Marco," An unfamiliar voice said.
*The sound of a chair scraping was heard*
"Listen, Marco. I want you to steal from Romano," A gruff voice said.
"Are you mad?! He's my Don! He will have my head the moment he gets to know about it," Marco's voice yelled.
"He won't get to know about it. I'll make sure. I'll give you $4 million along with a house in New York. You'll be free from the mafia life," The same gruff voice proposed.
Marco sighed. "Fine. I'll do it," He agreed.
I paused the recording and then turned to Marco.
"You willingly accepted it. No one coerced you to do so," I said coldly.
"Now, who was that person?" I asked, crossing my right leg over the left.
He gulped and shook his head.
"So you're not going to answer?" I asked in amusement.
He stayed silent.
"Alright then. Bring Serena," I ordered Matteo, who nodded and left.
Marco's eyes widened in fear. "Please! Not my wife!" He begged, tears running down his face furiously.
I smirked.
Matteo reentered holding a sobbing Serena by her arm.
He dragged her and pushed her on the ground.
"Sera!" Marco yelled, struggling against the tight ropes.
"Ma-marco," She sobbed helplessly.
Serena was truly a beautiful women, but not my type. I don't even know why she married Marco. She had amazing brown locks of hair and piercing blue eyes. She was around 20 while Marco was 10 years older.

I smirked and grasped her hair harshly, making her whimper. I took out my sharp knife from my pocket and placed it near her throat.
I wouldn't kill her, obviously.
"Are you going to answer now?" I asked coldly.
Marco's body wracked with fear. "Yes! Don't kill her, please!"
"Then answer me," I ordered, pushing the knife further on her throat. Drops of blood was visible. Serena was frozen in sheer terror, her eyes wide.
" Leon Meyer," Marco finally replied.
The fucking Germans.
I smirked and removed the knife from her neck making them both sigh in relief.
I took out my gun from the holster and aimed at Marco whose eye's widened again.
"NO! Please! Don't kill him!" Serena begged, falling down near my feet.
I rolled my eyes and pulled the trigger.
The sound of the bullet went of a a piercing shriek was heard.
Marco was shot right between his eyes.
Serena stared at the lifeless body of her husband, rock-stilled. Her mouth was wide open. Shivering, she turned to face me with a fiery look in her eyes.
"You bastard! Ti ucciderò!" She yelled in pure rage.
(I will kill you)
She launched herself onto me, punching my chest with her hands.
Honestly, I hardly felt anything. I grabbed her hair and shoved her off.
She was panting heavily, her eyes red in rage and her hands trembling.
"Get the fuck out of here," I snarled.
She didn't move but stared at her husband's dead body.
I rolled my eyes and aimed my gun at her. I was about to pull the trigger when Matteo stopped me.
"Don't shoot her," He said, stepping in between Serena and me.
"Matteo, move," I gritted.
"I-I want her," He admitted, looking down.
What?
"She is the wife of a traitor," I gritted out, tightening my grip on the gun.
"I know, but she isn't a traitor," Matteo reasoned.
"Matteo, find any other puttana," I snapped.
(Whore)
"I can't and I won't. Now that Marco is dead, I can have her," He said, pulling Serena up by her arm.
"N-no, let go of m-me!" She yelled, trying to pull her hand away from his grasp but he held her tighter.
Serena looked quite shaken up by the death of her husband.
"Okay, let's say I let you have her. What's the guarantee she won't run away and join the German mafia?" I asked challengingly.
"Who said she's gonna have her freedom?" Matteo smirked while the color drained from Serena's face. He caressed her cheeks softly and she flinched.
"I'm gonna chain her to my bed forever to ensure she won't escape," He whispered and held her tightly.
"Alright then. Have her," I said in satisfaction and lowered my gun.
"No, don't! Please, kill me!" Serena sobbed hysterically trying to fight Matteo's strong grasp. I chuckled darkly.
"Have fun, Sera," I mocked.
Matteo smirked and dragged Serena out of the cell but stopped abruptly.
"Hey Capo!" He called out.
"Yeah?" I asked, placing my hands into my pocket.
"Surely attend our wedding. It's in a week," He said with a genuine smile, while Serena stared at him, her jaw wide open.
Damn, her husband just died and she's already getting married.
"Of course I will," I smirked.
"NO! I'M NOT GOING TO MARRY YOU, SON OF A BITCH!" She yelled her lungs out.
"You don't have a choice, mi bella," Matteo whispered, kissing her cheek. He then grabbed her wrist and dragged her out of the cells.
(My beautiful)
I walked up to my office with Dante tagging behind. We both looked at each other and then burst out laughing.
"He has turned into a love struck puppy," I remarked shaking my head.
"I know right. Woof woof," Dante barked, trying to imitate a puppy by making puppy ears with his hands. I chuckled.
"So, what about your amore?" He asked, sitting on my couch.
"You know who I want. Lei sarà mia," I replied, pouring myself a glass of bourbon.
(She will be mine)
"But you know her dad. His mafia is very powerful. How will you get her?" Dante urged.
"I have my ways," I said and shrugged.
"You'll force her," He muttered, realization dawning upon his face while I smirked. I motioned him to get out of my office and he obliged.
I leaned back on my chair, swirling the glass in my hand with a smirk on my face.
"Preparati ad essere mio, Xena."

The Mischievous Mrs. Maxfield
***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off-in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date-er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she's young and a little rough around the edges but there's something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet-she's nothing like he ever expected. Thrust into the glitzy world a standard-issue Mrs. Maxfield would fit perfectly and rule with impeccable social grace, Charlotte will either have to force herself into the mold or break free of it, risking what little she has left for everything that she can gain.*** Copyright © 2014 by Nina Tippett.
