《FALLEN》CHAPTER TWENTY.

My eyes slowly twitched open, aching slightly from the sudden brightness they adjusted to. A heavy weight lay on top of my body, not suffocating heavy, but heavy. I let out a yawn, using a free hand to wipe my eyes. When I glanced down, I found a sleeping Sam.
He lay on top of me, his head pressed between my breast, while his arms were wrapped around my waist. A blush grew onto my cheeks, feeling a strange flutter go off on my heart.
I took a moment to take in the beautiful human being.
His lips were pulled into a pout, parted slightly as small breaths left him. His blonde locks of hair were a tousled mess, and his eyes were sternly shut. I found myself unable to hide a smile, drowsily reaching out to run a hand across his hair.
I stilled for a second, making sure I didn't wake him. In reply, I received light breaths. I warmly smiled down at him, gently running a hand over his hair. He looked so peaceful. So content. So...child like. And most of all; innocent.
He truly looked like a sleeping angel.
I sheepishly bit down on my bottom lip, slowly letting my hand trail away from his hair. Remembering to be extra gentle, I caressed the side of his face. Light stubble was slightly rough under my fingertips, but his cheeks were soft.
I sighed lowly, glancing up at the white ceiling. If I thought my office was plain and depressing, this was by far worse. There was a bed, we currently lay on. A bench, which was loosely hanging off from the wall across from us. A bar, which I remember doing his press ups. And lastly, a small drawer.
Suddenly feeling Sam shift on top of me, I snapped my gaze back over to him. A low groan left his lips as he shifted around, slowly peering up at me. When our eyes locked, I felt a blush burn against my cheeks. As well as this tingly feeling flood me from head to toe.
A lazy, drowsy smile curled onto his lips. I felt my heart stutter, skipping a beat. I found myself returning the action, letting the inevitable grin etch onto my lips.
"Morning." He rasped. And my God, did I almost orgasm right there, just by the silky tone of his voice. It was so husky, so extremely raspy.
"M-Morning." I stuttered, well aware of the blush on my cheeks. It was just something that I had no control over around him. I'd constantly turn red around him, and I was pretty sure he was aware of it himself. I was just grateful he hadn't taken the pleasure to embarrass me about it.
He lifted his head up for a second, before letting his head drop back onto my breasts. It was then his hold on me tightened. I bit down on my bottom lip, placing a hand on top of his hair, which I longed to see more of.
I'd make sure I would.
"I'm not crushing you, am I?" His silky voice questioned. I swallowed, shaking my head, but stopping when realizing he couldn't see me.
"No, you're good. Just a little heavy." I playfully added, but there was some truth to it. I had to weigh half his amount, especially with those mountains on his arms he calls muscles.
"Good. I like being here with you. Like this." He said, making my entire body jump inside. He squeezed me for a second, snuggling further into my chest. I didn't hide the smile which over took my lips.

However it soon faltered, when I realized how good this felt and how perfect it all was. I forgot that I couldn't face simple happiness without consequences. Without something be wrong. My entire body tensed, realizing that I was in Sam's cell, heck, I slept here the entire night. They would soon come here and wake up the inmates, then we'd both get caught.
"Sam!" I whispered, the fear evident in my tone. His head shot up, narrowing his eyes at me with concern and confusion.
"What's wrong?" The words left his lips, making me peer down at him. I shook off any thoughts, gently pushing Sam off from me. He complied with my actions, scooting a little back as I sat up.
"I need to go." I rushed out, not hesitating to stand up. However, Sam had other plans. His hand reached out, gripping onto my wrist. With a light twirl, he spun me, making me lose balance and fall into his lap. A low gasp left me.
"You're not going anywhere." He breathed, his brows furrowed. I shook my head at him rapidly.
"I have to, Sam! T-They're going to come and wake you all up and then they'll find out about us and we'll get in trouble! Plus, I need to get ready for work!" I rambled, panting from all the nerves which had built up inside of me.
Whenever I was nervous, A; I would either blush like a fool. Or B; I'd start panting like I ran for miles. And C; I sometimes did a bit of both.
B, was having its play today.
"Sam!" I called in warning tone. He just arched a brow, his lips curling into a deliciously hot grin. And I found myself thinking about his sensual touch against the most significant part of my body. I shivered with a blush.
"Calm down, Belle." He rasped in amusement. I opened my mouth in disbelief, ready to ramble out another few words. But before I was even able to try and do so, he placed a finger to my lips, silencing me.
"Hush." He whispered. I felt myself tingle down there.
"We're not going to get into trouble. They will not find us about us and you will not be late to work." He calmly told me. I raised my brows at him.
"How do you know all of this?" I questioned, reaching out to remove his finger which was inside me last night, away from my lips. I inwardly cursed myself for thinking about such a sexual memory this early in the morning.
I so needed God.
"I don't," Was his simple reply. And once again, before I could say anything, he hurriedly spoke over me.
"But I know that we haven't been caught yet and it's only six thirty AM." He declared.
"How do you know it's six?"
He pointed towards the small clock I was yet to notice hanging on the wall. And accurate he was, the smaller hand and bigger, both pointing at the six. I relaxed a little.
"Okay, but I should go." I sighed, forcing myself to say. He frowned slightly. I didn't think twice before letting a finger trail over the outline of his lips.
"I'll see you later on. I...I just don't want to risk anything." I truthfully told him, my tone soft. He groaned, nodding his head slowly in agreement. I smiled, leaning down to peck his lips. When I pulled back, he arched a brow, amusement and smugness dancing into his eyes.

"You're not leaving with just a pathetic peck." He whispered, and the next thing I knew, I was down on my back. He hovered over me, his lips attacking mine and his tongue swiping out to mesh with mine.
A fire grew in the pit of my stomach.
I smiled into the kiss.
The feeling of relief and what seemed like triumph, followed me around the entire day. I was in extremely good mood since....since I woke up. I was having a good day. From waking up with Sam's arms wrapped around me and his face being the first thing I saw - it definitely made me feel joyous throughout the entire day.
And I felt this odd surge of smugness dance within me. Sam and I were doing something so risky, risky enough for us to get caught - but we got away with it. I felt rebellious. Never in my twenty-one years of living, did I ever dare to break rules.
But when it came to Sam, I found it an exception.
Unable to hide the smile on my lips, I let it over come my lips. Daniel glanced at me, the both of us walking side by side at a steady pace. I arched a questioning brow back at him.
"Nothing," He mumbled. My brows furrowed in confusion, but I didn't question him any further about his odd behaviour. Silently shrugging to myself, I focused my eyes back to the path in-front of me.
The both of us were walking around the prison grounds, digesting the meal we just ate. When Daniel walked a few steps ahead of me, I had this odd feeling that he was annoyed at me. And to add onto it, he was being awfully quiet.
It just wasn't him.
"Is something bothering you?" I heard myself ask, speeding up my movements a little, so I could be by his side. A low sigh left his lips and he shook his head.
"Forget it, B." He muttered, and once again, strode up his footsteps. I didn't hide the frown on my lips this time. I no longer had to assume he was mad or annoyed at me, his words and actions were clearly there to clarify my thoughts.
Sighing, I pushed up my glasses and walked a little faster. Cold air danced around me as we stepped outside on the prison courtyard/field - whatever they liked to call it. As always, the various clothing that the inmates were dressed in, stood out to me, making interest bubble up inside of me.
I walked a little faster, so that I was standing beside Daniel. He suddenly paused, making me mimic his body movement. My mouth opened, ready to ask him why he had stopped moving, but the sound of a low radio sounding like, walkie talkie, entered my ears. I arched a brow.
"Okay, I'll be right there." Daniel replied into the gadget. He stuffed the walkie talkie back into his pants pocket. It was then his eyes darted to me.
"I'll be right back, I need to drop an inmate off at Joan's' office." He told me with a low huff. I nodded, shifting around on my feet. His green eyes narrowed at me, softening slightly. They looked as if they knew something; they were questioning me.
"Is there anything you want to tell me, Belle?" He questioned. I was a little taken aback from his sudden question, but was even more confused. I hesitantly shook my head. That's when disappointment flashed across his eyes and he slowly nodded, a low sigh leaving his lips.
"I'll be back." He muttered, not bothering to hear a reply from me, already walking away. My lips pursed, my brows furrowing in confusion. Why was Daniel asking me such a weird and random question? Plus, more importantly, why was he upset with me?
As I watched his figure distance off as he walked away with an orange jumpsuit dressed inmate, I suddenly felt a hand wrap around my waist and tug me forward. My movements were a blur, my mind sparred with spontaneous body movements.
The next thing I knew, after a confusing shift of movements, I found myself being pressed against a wall, shaky breaths leaving my lips. My pulse was thumping at an exceedingly high level. Pushing my glasses up, I found myself peering up at a smirking Sam.
Relief flooded me.
"You idiot! Why on earth would you do that?" I hissed, pouting at him. His smirk only grew larger, a glint waving across his golden eyes.
"It's not funny, Sam! You really scared me." I whined. A soft chuckle left him, echoing through my ears and traveling right down to my core. I shuddered.
"I'm sorry, baby. I didn't mean to." He rasped, stepping forward to trap me against the wall. A grin grew onto my lips, forgetting the little anger I felt for him dragging me to where ever we were, and focusing on the positive.
I was here with him!
Plus, he just called me baby!
A blush burned against my cheeks. A giddy, excited feeling growing inside of me.
"I forgive you. J-Just don't do that again." I softly told him. A sexy grin curled onto his lips and he nodded. He then took a few steps closer, his hand reaching out to hold my chin and tug it up so I faced him.
"Good," He murmured, his warm breath bouncing against my face. My heart began to beat faster.
"Now, can I kiss you?" He lowly asked, the huskiness latching onto his words. I didn't hide the shiver I felt, the seductive tone darting right down to my womanhood. I swallowed, reaching out to push up my glasses.
"Please," I uttered and the next thing I knew, his lips were pressed down on mine. I let out a soft whimper, his hands gently reaching out to snake around my waist, lifting me off from the wall slightly. A held back a moan when his wet tongue came into caress mine.
My hands flew out, placing them flatly against his toned, abed chest. He groaned softly into the kiss, the sound sending a jolt of electricity inside of me. The kiss became even more heated, my nipples aching to be placed against his hard chest, so I closed the small space between us.
We both moaned, breaking apart from the kiss. My nipples felt sensitive, tingly from the hardness of his chest.
"Fuck, Belle. So God damn sexy." He rasped, leaning forward to press his lips to my neck. I held in a moan, titling my head to allow him more access. He didn't hesitate. I shivered, feeling him being to suck against my neck, my panties growing wetter from his sensual touch.
"Sam," I whispered in his ear, arching myself into his touch. One of his hands left my waist and traveled upwards, drifting into my shirt and sliding up towards my bras strap. He slide his finger inside it, while his other hand occupied itself by gripping onto my waist.
His finger tips were cold against my warm skin, but that only aroused me further. He let his hand slowly move against my back, inching closer towards my breast, covered by my bra. Just as he was about to do so, I suddenly realized where we were.
Using all my strength, and control, I gently pushed Sam off from me. He pulled away from my neck with a low breath.
"Sam, w-we can't." I firmly told him, panting from all the sudden adrenaline. His brows furrowed in questioning, but before he could ask why, another voice asked for him.
"Why not, B? You seem really into it." The familiar voice belonging to Daniel entered my ears. I froze, my eyes widening in shock as a gasp left my lips. My eyes darted to the side, where Daniel stood. His arms were crossed over his chest, brows furrowed and a frown on his lips.
"Daniel." I whispered in shock. He sent a curt nod my way, his eyes darting between Sam and I.
"That's my name." He nodded with a nonchalant expression. "You sure you still don't have anything to tell me, Belle?"
My mouth parted and guilt entered me.
"Daniel...n-no, I-I...it's not...I-I'm sorry." I stuttered, blurting out an apology. He arched a brow, slowly nodding his head at me.
"Yeah, I can tell that. And you Sam, anything to tell me, Bro?" He questioned, adding extra enthuse on the 'bro'. My eyes darted back to Sam, his jaw was locked and his eyes were narrowed at Daniel. He didn't say anything.
"Great, nice. It's an amazing feeling knowing that your two friends are secretly having a relationship or whatever, going on behind your back, and think that you'd remain clueless." Sarcasm evidently there with his words.
"D-Daniel." I softly called.
"Thanks for telling me about it, Belle. You too, Sam."
Guilt and hurt targeted my heart.
"It's not like that." I whispered. A scoff sounded from him.
"Then what is it like, B? Tell me, because I'm fucking lost." He harshly said.
"Stop with that crap, Daniel. You clearly saw what's going on, so stop trying to make the both of us feel guilty for hiding this from you." Sam suddenly spoke up. I reached out to touch his arm, hoping it'd calm him down. I felt him relax slightly under my touch.
"I'm not trying to make you feel guilty. I'm lost, Sam. I don't know why two people that I trust a lot, would hide something this big from me. Think about it, wouldn't you be hurt?" Daniel pressed. We both fell silent.
"I'm sorry, a-alright? I was scared to tell you, Sam too. I've had a lot of people judge me in the past and I didn't want for that to repeat again. Don't think I don't trust you, because I do - I just was scared. Sorry." I blurted out.
The air fell silent.
The three of us stared at each other, the only sound to be heard was distant voices belonging to inmates and guards. Suddenly a grin broke out onto Daniel's lips. A bubble of confusion grew inside of me.
"This is fucking great, B! I'm happy for you both." He grinned at the two of us. I opened my mouth in disbelief, glancing at Sam who looked as shocked as I did.
"Y-You're not mad?" I whispered. He shook his head, before nodding, then shrugging.
"I don't know, a little I guess. But only because you didn't tell me. Other than that, I'm happy for you both. I always had a feeling you'd end up together." He smiled, taking me by surprise from his words. A large grin grew onto my lips and I ran over and wrapped my arms around him, hugging him.
"Thank you so much, Dan!" I squeezed him. He chuckled, tapping my back.
"It's alright, B. Just don't hide things like this from me." He firmly said. I nodded, pulling back. Both our eyes darted to Sam who was simply staring at us. It was silent for a second, and suddenly a grin broke out onto his lips as he strode over to him.
I grinned as I watched him and Daniel embrace each other in a brotherly, manly hug.
"Thanks, man." I heard him say. I simply watched, feeling the emotion of happiness dance around me. No doubt was there a weight lifted off from my shoulders from Daniel knowing. Now that he knew, I knew he would definitely be there to support us.
And I smiled to myself.
It would all be okay in the end.
