《Princess on the Loose [Completed]》Chapter 46

I glared at the scarred man, he had ominous calculating grey eyes that followed my every move, and every emotion that played on my face.
"Don't you dare touch my dad, or I will make sure you'll have the most agonizing death," I threathened as I slowly put my hands at the back to get my knives.
He laughed and my dad looked at me with longing and pain. He was tied in rope, his face a bloody mess, and small cuts were all over his body. Did they torture him?
I closed my eyes for a moment and let out a small whimper. My heart can't take this anymore.
"Clarianne." My dad's voice was hoarse, probably from screaming in pain.
"Princess you surprise me with your impulsiveness." The dude said and I glared harder at him. "It's not really what you think." He took out his knife again and proceeded to turn to my dad.
"No!" I threw my knife at him but it never got close because he hit them away with his own knife. My eyes widened at his agility but I didn't stop. I began to throw more pairs at him which he easily dodged or hit.
"Clarianne it's a misunderstanding, he's a friend," my dad weakly said and I halted all of my actions.
"Way to spoil the fun Richard. You really are a kill joy."
"Grayson you're fighting with my daugh--I mean with a princess, where the heck is your manners?"
Grayson? Where have I heard that before?
He was in my dream. No wonder he looks familiar, he had been there. He was in a combat with my dad.
He killed my mother.
(Play touch by Pia Mia now. XD)
"What's happening here dad? Who is he?" I asked impatiently.
Grayson faced my dad and cut the rope off him. So that's what he's about to do.
"He's an ally. He's my friend in the orphanage, we've known each other since we're babies," my dad explained as he stood up and rubbed the marks of the rope.
"How can you trust him? He might be working for Queen Elizabeth."
"I was." Grayson smirked, "but Richard's in danger. I think it's time for us to make up after 20 years."

"I see you've come to apologize." My dad glared at him.
"Whoah, I don't think we've come that far yet. Don't be delusional." Grayson shook his head chuckling.
My dad rolled his eyes then looked at me. I didn't waste for another moment and ran to him. He caught me in his arms and swayed me from side to side, my feet dangling in the air.
"I missed you so much dad," I said tearing up.
"Shhh, I missed you more." He hugged me tighter.
There was a sudden loud booming sound and a laugh that very much sounded like Jarvis'.
"That was really fun! I almost blew myself up! Hahahaha!"
Okay that's definitely Jarvis.
"As much as I would like to celebrate bro, how's everybody up there? How's Clarianne?"
And that's Gavier.
My heart thudded faster as I hear them step closer. I wasn't sure why.
"Hey idiots, we're here," Grayson called to them and I heard them come here faster.
I wasn't sure what was going to happen. I hope Gavier's okay. I miss him and I really want to see him too but he shouldn't kiss me in front of dad. He shouldn't kiss me in front of dad. He shouldn-
"Clarianne." Gavier said as he strode towards me. He didn't even glance at who I was with
"Gavier," I gasped. All thoughts of not kissing him vanished. It was as if everyone faded and it was the only two of us in the whole wide world.
I met him halfway and he pulled my waist to kiss me. I closed my eyes and relished the feeling of his lips softly moving with mine. God, I miss this.
Someone cleared his throat, and realizing that we have an audience, I quickly pulled away.
"That was hot," Jarvis chuckled.
"Why did you interrupt them Richard? It was just getting good," Grayson complained.
"I don't think I'd like to see what happens next--"
"Dad, you know Prince Gavier right? He's the prince here in New Zealan--"
"The one who made you cry the last time and kissed you. Darling I know everything about this jerk." His fists were curled and I sensed loathing. Why is my dad so angry so suddenly?

"Sir I'm not sure if you think I'm dangerous or not good enough for your daughter but how about you? Is she safe with you?"
"Gavier!" I gaped at him.
My father growled as he glared menacingly at Gavier. "How about we talk about this outside. I need to have a word with you, man to man."
"Dad please stop! You guys, it's not the time for this!" I went in between the growling alphas.
Grayson patted both of their backs. "The princess is right, we are running out of time. We should be on our way to the coronation."
My dad finally broke off their glaring competition then to my surprise he began to laugh. Like his usual jolly and cheerful demeanor he slung an arm around Gavier's shoulder. "I like you son. You'll be good for my Clarianne."
"You mean my Clarianne." Gavier smirked at him and I rolled my eyes.
"Dad are you trying to give me a heart attack?"
"What? Darling I have to test your future husband."
"Doesn't that sound just right?" Gavier sneakily kissed me on the cheek.
I blushed as we ascended the stairs. Jarvis was laughing the whole time as Grayson whooped and hummed the wedding song.
"Would you guys please stop it, the academy's in chaos."
"Just my thing." Jarvis almost leaped through us as he ran excitedly upstairs.
A minute later we heard cheers and whoops. The battle was finally over and judging by the laughter and squeals, we won.
My theory proved me right when we were finally out of the dungeon. Everyone was smiling and hugging each other. They looked dirty and tired but they didn't care. My heart warmed at the sight. It was as if this battle finally brought all of us together and we became what we should have been all along.
A family.
"There you are princess. The plane's ready." Prince Levi showed up and I told him to tell Ria to announce for everyone to board the plane.
"What's happening?" Dad asked me.
I quickly told them the plan and they listened attentively. Gavier left with Levi as he would help him drive the plane and thus need to prepare.
"We'll catch up with you guys later. I still need to gather my men," Grayson said.
"Which men?"
"The bodyguards."
I raised an eyebrow at this suspiciously. I really don't trust this guy. True, that my dream was just a dream but still.
"Honestly I don't feel good about this. How do we know that you are on our side and not the queen's."
"I was never on her side." He winked then left.
"It's okay darling, you can trust him. He saved my neck many times," dad said and kissed me on my forehead.
I finally let it go and boarded the plane with everybody else. My dad went to the pilot area too, he wants to make sure they knew what they were doing. It turned out my dad also knows how to fly a plane. Not surprising.
Almost everybody was seated so I sat between Ria and Nessa who were as excited as I was. I could feel the adrenaline running through my veins and my heart was pumping like a jackhammer.
At the front I saw Jarvis abruptly stood up and was about to go to the pilot area when Anastasia stopped him by holding his arm.
"T-thank y-you for saving m-me," she stuttered cutely and blushed.
Jarvis smirked, his canines showing.
"If you're gonna thank me, you should do it with style." He suddenly pulled her close then ravaged her mouth with his.
Anastasia was frozen shocked but quickly responded as she closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck. When they let go, Jarvis gave Anastasia one lick on the lips before going to the pilot room, leaving a stunned Anastasia by herself.
We were all gasping, some even were screaming and the guys were whooping and whistling making my ears hurt from all the noise.
"Oh my god!" Nessa kept chanting.
"That was unexpected." Even the emotionless Ria looked shocked.
I sighed and leaned back, trying to relax but couldn't.
I swear can this night be more exciting? I don't think I'll be able to handle it.
