《Princess on the Loose [Completed]》Chapter 4

"What were you thinking?" Carlo my advisor asked. Now you're probably wondering who's Carlo. Well I just learnt his name a moment ago. Remember the middle-aged man with a mustache from the prologue of this book? Well that's him and he's apparently my advisor as well. Every single student has one, how touching.
"I just told you, he called me a slut. How many times do I have to say it?" I groaned.
"Do you realize who he is? He's the prince here in New Zealand!"
This caught my attention. We're in New Zealand? Well I remembered going in a plane but I was blindfolded all the way. I didn't know we were that far. "We're in New Zealand?"
Carlo clamped his mouth shut and exhaled soundly. "Yes, you might as well know. His father also owns this academy so I suggest you watch your behavior. You don't know what they can do to you."
I sighed looking away as I rubbed my arms but what really hurt was my back because I fell on it earlier with the prick on me. Basically the impact of my jump as I clung on his neck made him fall backwards with me. I was squashed like a fly I tell you, the guy weight like a ton. Well at least I gave him a few scratches and bruises but I was injured nonetheless. He also clutched on my waist so hard I bet there's bruises there from his vicious fingertips.
Lucas and Eric pried us apart in the end and I was immediately dragged by Mr. who-wouldn't-understand-me here. I mean I knew that was impulsive but the prick was also at fault. I didn't even do anything wrong, he already assumed I was some pathetic slut.
"Clarissa," Carlo snapped. "Are you even listening?"
"Yeah, what?" Finally giving him attention.
He groaned, losing his patience. "I talked with Prince Gavier's advisor and he agreed with my idea."
"What idea?"
"The fact that the fight earlier was just friendly wrestling between close friends. In two days both you and Prince Gavier will also be participating in an interview. And you will say that you are just good friends."
Huh? "What? Clearly something's wrong with your head? It was obvious that I just had a fight with Gavier, and now you're implying that we're close friends? What sort of sick twist is that?"
Carlo massaged his temples and closed his eyes. "Can't you see I'm saving you here? If you didn't know yet, there are many pictures in the net that went viral. You're everywhere on the tabs, and probably will be on the front page of the newspaper tomorrow. There are many reporters outside the perimeter of Prince Gavier's castle. You should be glad you're in the academy where they don't know its whereabouts."

I listened to this intently but could still not believe the consequence of my actions. Actually I thought I'd be kicked out by now but I'm so far from it, it seemed like I even got further away.
"Why won't you just kick me out?"
He turned at me with a serious face. "Is this what's it all about? You want to go home so you result to violence to one of the most powerful royal family in the world. I thought you're smarter than that Clarissa" He shook his head disappointed. "If you want to get out of here, you have to use your head more. That stunt earlier was childish, impulsive, stupid and won't get you anywhere. Princesses never fight through violence, they use their heads not their fists. They fight with words and power. You of all people should know that."
I looked down on the floor ashamed. It was true. I shouldn't have done that but whenever I go back there, I don't think I would've changed what I've done. But it was still wrong. "I'm sorry Carlos. I won't do it again. I have never been insulted so much before so when he called me a slut all I saw was red. I wasn't even thinking."
I slowly looked up and saw him giving me a small smile. I suddenly remembered my father. Usually when I do something wrong he would scold me but afterwards he would gently smile at me and even pat me on the head. 'Admit it when you're wrong. Admit defeat even if it's hard. People will understand because they also make mistakes like you. After all it's what makes us human' I remembered dad telling me.
"Don't worry I understand, both of you are at fault. I also know you did that for a reason but not because you wanted to get kicked out. Prince Gavier also has a bad temper and has issues with women because of his mother. But still you shouldn't have attacked him" He suddenly chuckled, "You should have seen his face though. I've never seen him so shocked in his life. It was quite a sight to us advisors who saw it."
I smiled, glad that Carlos wasn't so mad anymore but what was up with Gavier's mom? Maybe I'll ask him next time.
"You're dismissed for now. You don't have to go to class today. If possible I don't want to hear any more news about you today. For godsake Clarissa, it's your first day. Please give me some time to recuperate." He gave me a smile that looked somewhat amused.
"I'll try." I smiled sheepishly.
He opened the door for me and told me that the two bulky guys with black suits will lead me to my room. I followed them silently and was thankful that no one was around the big hallways. It was probably time for their class. But apparently fate wasn't going to let me rest yet. Right there leaning on my room door was a smokin' Gavier wearing a black wifebeater, his hands in the pockets of his pants. A band aid was on the side of his jaw and there were small patches of gauze around his shoulders, back and collarbone. Wow, I did those? I suddenly felt a little guilty but then hey, my back was hurting too and also my waists which he mercilessly dug his fingers into when he tried to push me away.

For some reason my heart raced, seeing his greek-like body made some weird sensations inside my stomach and I didn't really know what to say to him. When he saw me, there was a smug look on his face which made me feel irritated immediately. He knew that I was scolded and was probably waiting for me to apologize. Well too bad I would never apologize.
"Took you long enough. Had lots to take in I guess," He said and I gritted my teeth.
I crossed my arms. "I'm not going to apologize if that's what you're waiting for."
He raised an eyebrow with a smirk on his face. "Figures then I also won't apologize."
"Why are you here?"
"Why not? Can't I check on my 'newest close friend' who just attacked me?" His voice laced with sarcasm.
"Your new close friend is fine and she wants to rest and get away from you."
"Why? You intimidated?" He asked with a smirk on his face stepping closer to me which made my heart thud in a faster rhythm. "When you saw me by your door what did you think of? You were probably thinking that I would get back at you and wondering how would I do it, right? What would be his tricks? Does he have something up his sleeve? How would I be able to escape from him? Weren't these your thoughts?"
I gulped. He saw right through me. He was playing with me. He wanted me to be scared of him, to manipulate me and my thoughts but now that I knew, I wouldn't let him.
I stepped closer to him and smiled, poking on his chest which was hard as rock. "But you can't do anything because I have these two guards with me. Who's frustrated now?"
He smirked even more and caught my hand, slightly squeezing it. "Who said I would do anything to you? You're delusional." So this was his trap, how infuriating.
"And like I would let you." I glared at him and took my hand away from his grasp.
"Let me ask you Clarissa, who owns this school?" He asked me, his face composed. The way he said my name made me shiver a little.
"Your father," I answered immediately.
He nodded, pleased with my answer. "So you also know that my father owns everything in this academy including those guards of yours."
I groaned inwardly. He was trying to win over me, to surrender to my fear of him. He probably wanted me to kneel and beg for his mercy but too bad, I would never do that even if I die.
"Yes but they're your father's not yours. In fact now they're under the orders of my adviser Carlos."
"Very well said" He complemented then leaned forward until his mouth was near my ear. "But I'm still my father's son, I could easily ask my father anything and he would give it to me before you could even blink your eyes. And when I mean anything that includes you."
I shivered at his exchange feeling more nervous because of his near presence. "Scared now little kitty?" He asked and held my waist.
I immediately flinched from his contact because it hurt like hell. He looked back at me sensing that something was wrong. But before he could say anything I pushed him away.
"In your dreams, now if you don't mind I want to rest." I said, trying to dismiss him immediately.
"You're hurt," He said suddenly shocking me. His actions afterwards was even more shocking then things escalated so quickly, I didn't even get to say anything.
He lifted my dress, up to my stomach and sure enough there were blue blotches on my sides and probably my back too.
"Hey, what the-"I began but he quickly shoved me inside my room.
"You're dismissed." He told the two guards whose jaws were opened.
"B-but your majesty, we received orders-"One of them said.
"And what are they?" He growled impatiently.
"That Ms. Valdez be escorted to her room safely."
Gavier rolled his eyes. "She's here in her room now isn't she? And she's safe."
"But your majesty, boys are not allowed in the girls' dormitory."
"Do you want to lose your jobs?" He threatened glaring at them menacingly.
Both guards gulped. "No your highness, we'll be leaving."
Gavier slammed the door closed which made me gulp. What was up with him?
"You didn't have to be so mean to them you know," I said, still crossing my arms. "And what the hell are you doing in my room? Get out!" I blushed, remembering what he did earlier. What if I wasn't wearing my leggings then he would have seen me in my underwear!
He rolled his eyes. "Take it off." He ordered in a princely tone.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Take your clothes off."
