Y/n was watching me try on her Maid of Honor dress. I kept fidgeting in it and moved around on the stand.

"Miss Doyeon you have to stand still so I can take your measurements."

The lady puts me back in the center of the stand and I look at the mirror seeing y/n take pictures of the dress.

"I love this color on you! You're going to look amazing." She says excitedly, she's right, I do look amazing. I rarely wear dresses and, yet the outfit I have on makes me feel differently.

"I still can't believe you're getting married." I screech and turn to face her.

"Who would've thought you were going to say yes. We just launched our second album. I can't believe we finally started planning your wedding two years later after he asked you for marriage."

"You look sad. Is something the matter?" Y/n looks over at me and I can't help but nod, "Xu hasn't been answering my calls, and he seems more distant. I know he's very busy and we are too, but even Beomgyu and Heejin can make time for each other."

"Oh, Doyeon. I didn't know that's how you felt. I did send him an invitation to the wedding. I am still waiting for his response. You know what. Forget about this dress for today."

She looks back at the lady, "Ma'am we will come back next week we still have a few months until the wedding. Thank you very much."

She smiles and hands a picture of our group photo and we both sign it.

We head out and she calls the other girls on the phone in less than an hour we are all together.

"I know you girls had that interview today but Doyeon is feeling down and I feel like we haven't had a day where we all enjoy!"

"Doyeon are you alright?" Heejin walks up to her and hugs her, "Yeah y/n is just being a little over the top. I just told her Xu and I haven't talked for a while and I'm not sure why."

"Well, he is a famous swimmer. He is probably busy with competitions and training."

"Yeah but...Bomin isn't as busy and he is also training with him." I say still frowning.

"Oh well! Forget about him today. Let's go eat some food with no guys just us." Y/n smiles her arm alongside mine.

"She's right we won't talk about guys today is a girls day." Heejin puts her phone in her pocket and smiles already walking ahead.

We were walking to a kbbq place. Don't take this wrong I loved the fact that they wanted to hang out together. But my mind still wondered what Xu could have been doing.

The girls and I got busy after we won for best new girl group. We went on another tour and had another album. That's three albums and two tours in three years. I missed seeing him. He rarely comes to Korea due to his training yet we would always talk.

Until that day. I haven't told anyone because I didn't want them to worry.

"Hey, Doyeon."

He had just arrived from practice but looked exhausted.

"Are you okay? You look tired."

"Just a bit but I wanted to see you before I went to sleep." His tone of voice sounded sad. It was as if something occurred.

"Is everything alright?" I ask him. You can hear the worry in my voice. I didn't want him to notice but like always he does.

"I think." He stops and then takes a deep breath before exhaling, "We shouldn't talk for a while. I have this big competition coming up. My trainer is pressuring me to work twice as hard. I love you too much to not be able to see you."

I expected it. No wonder he had acted so distant. But still, it hurt. I wasn't going to cry. I held my tears in and nodded, "I understand. Um. I'll text you later. Goodnight."

"Goodnight Doyeon."

"Alright. So after eating we go back home and enjoy some really good drinks." Y/n was whispering to the group to make sure no one heard us.

"YAY!" Sunhee squealed digging into her food.

Y/n is right. I have to forget about him for today at least. I put him on silent. Even though he probably wouldn't text me.

And so I let loose. The girls and I laughed and talked about everything. We caught up in everything besides work. Our family, friends everything.

Once we were back to our dorms we pulled out our drinks. I was normally a light drinker but today I felt the need to continue letting lose.

Sunhee and Heejin were old enough to finally drink as well so we would drink wine or even beer sometimes.

"Alright, Doyeon I think this should be your last one." Yuju was tugging the drink out of my hand but I kept tugging it back towards me.

"I...-I want to finish this one." My words were already slurring. I knew I had already drunken too much but I wanted to blame what I was about to do on my alcoholism.

"Are you alright Doyeon?" Y/n was trying to hold me up before I would fall.

"I need to make a call," I muttered pulling out my phone.

"You shouldn't call anyone when you're drunk." Heejin smiled goofily finishing her last beer glass.

"It's someone important." I pulled out my phone and marked his phone number.

"Doyeon do you think this is okay?" Y/n asked one more time before I pressed the dial button.

I nod and press the green button bringing it close to my ear.

"Doyeon?"

"Oh so y-you do k-know my name." I made my words slur. He was silent and then spoke.

"Are you alright? You haven't been answering my messages today." He said that almost frantically. I wanted to yell at him and tell him off but then he said, "I know I messed up. But I want to make it up. Look out your window."

Even in my drunk state, I walked towards the window and saw him. He was alongside the other guys.

"Wh-what are you doing here?"

"I came to see the girl I love."

I hung up and continued seeing him from the window.

He shouted, "Please let me embrace you one more time. Even if you do not want to get back together with me."

I walked away. Y/n looked out the window, "Doyeon go. I know I told you to forget about guys for today. But he loves you enough to take a flight all the way to Korea even to miss his competition."

"His competition?"

"Yep, it was today. He never showed up to it." She shows me the news and right she was. The tabloid shows the title of 'World Swimmer Xu missed final for National Swimming Competition.'

"But I'm drunk."

"You still look beautiful. Just take this mint." She placed a mint in my mouth and led me downstairs.

"Yoongi is really lucky to have you," I told her.

"I'm lucky to be marrying a guy like him. And you will be too."

"What do you mean?"

We step out and I see him kneeling. I turn back to her and all she can do is nod.

"Doyeon I know we are both very busy and we live countries apart. But I will put down my whole career if it meant that I would be able to marry you and live by your side."

I couldn't hold my tears anymore. I let them out and throw myself in his arms that I miss so much.

"I would love to marry the guy before me."

I kiss him and smile before pulling away turning to y/n who is now being embraced by Yoongi.

"Did he convince you to come?" I ask Xu.

"No, he just offered the lift. He was dying to see y/n too." He smiles bringing me in for a hug.

"And so that's our story," I say lifting my glass to the crowd. Y/n is crying and Xu is right beside me.

"Of course I didn't let him quit his career. Right baby." He nods and I smile, "But thanks to this lovely couple. I was able to find my true love and I am so happy they were able to find theirs as well. Because well I love them. So cheers for the newlywed!"

Everyone cheers and y/n runs up in her white wedding dress to embrace me, "You are the best sister anyone could've asked for."

The next couple will be Heejin and Beomgyu!!
