While Xi Xiaye knew that Wang Hui and Mu Yinan often argued, their squabbles were usually not very serious. However, this time it seemed like Mu Yinan was really incensed.

Mu Yuchen frowned as he glanced at Wang Hui whose expression had turned into a storm.

Su Chen and Qi Lei were still laughing, especially the latter since this was the first time stumbling across something so interesting about the former Chairman Mu. He only knew that they were a role model couple. They really were precious!

The old Chairman Mu must have had his hands full with Wang Hui at home!

"Alright, Grandmother. I'm sure Grandfather is just joking. He won't do it, so don't be angry." Xi Xiaye quickly offered some words of comfort since Wang Hui was getting angry.

"He's provoking me! Your grandfather's temper is getting worse and worse. I can't stand him anymore! He gets angry so easily. If I get sick somehow, it will be his fault!" Wang Hui took a deep breath and glanced at them. Fortunately, she was still able to control her temper.

Su Chen tried to say something as well. The only most indifferent about the whole situation was Mu Yuchen. He casually put some food on Xi Xiaye's plate and picked out the fish bones as if nothing happened just now. He was totally unfazed.

"Grandmother, the fact that Grandfather called means he cares." Xi Xiaye closed in and whispered, "You should listen to Grandfather too."

"How can I just let him be? You cannot let Ah Chen be like that as well. If you treat him too well, he'll only make it worse."

Xi Xiaye gave Mu Yuchen a mischievous smile.

That was how Wang Hui finally moved into Maple Residence. Anyway, they were well-prepared for it since she planned to move in before.

After dinner, Wang Hui dragged Xi Xiaye to chat in the living room while Mu Yuchen, Su Chen, and Qi Lei went into the study room.

Inside the huge and comfortable study room, Mu Yuchen was sitting on the sofa as Su Chen sat beside him and prepared some tea while Qi Lei sat opposite them.

"This tea is pretty fragrant."

Su Chen liked tea. Since he knew a thing or two about them, he commented on it after taking a sip. Then, he handed Qi Lei and Mu Yuchen a cup each as well.

"My friend gave it to me. Take some back with you later."

Su Chen waved. "It's fine. I have too much tea at home. Pu'er tea isn't my favorite. I prefer green tea. By the way, about Gu Lingsha..."

Su Chen suddenly stopped and looked at Qi Lei who was quietly enjoying his tea and was not really showing any expression. He then continued, "What's with Gu Lingsha? I got a call from Li Si. I thought something happened to Xi Xiaye."

Mu Yuchen looked down at his teacup, not replying Su Chen. Instead, Qi Lei threw Mu Yuchen a doubtful glance before looking at Su Chen again.

Since Mu Yuchen did not say anything, Su Chen hissed at Qi Lei, "You, say something!"

Qi Lei shrugged. "Say what? I'm not involved. I have no idea what happened. Why don't you ask Xiaye about it? I'm sure she knows about it very well."

"Don't act dumb. Everyone knows that you were helping Gu Lingsha out when it happened. Why is Gu Lingsha back? Why didn't she stay abroad and returned instead?"

Similar to Ah Mo, Su Chen was stunned when he found out that Gu Lingsha had returned to City Z, so his vigilance heightened.

"Is she really back for revenge? But how did we not find anything about Qi Feng at all? Is Qi Feng really dead?"

"Qi Feng is alive. That's one thing I can be sure of!"

Qi Lei gave a firm reply, "I tested that old man this morning. All the signs point towards the fact that my father knows Qi Feng's whereabouts. Moreover, I asked Shasha about it before as well. She told me she forgot what happened after she woke up. However, knowing Shasha, I think she's hiding something from me."

"Can't you think of a way to get it out of her?" Su Chen stared at Qi Lei. "Or can't you?"

Qi Lei shrugged his shoulders innocently without replying.

"Say something. Don't be dumb right now!" Su Chen glanced at Mu Yuchen and said.

"I've seen Gu Lingsha," Mu Yuchen casually said, "I know why she's back. I tracked everyone she came into contact with, and Ah Mo found some of her secret call logs which I'm still investigating. I got several numbers, but I'm not sure if they are related to Qi Feng. We might have missed out on a lot in five years."

"While the amount of work to be done is aplenty, it's the most reliable method. Think of a way to find out where those numbers come from."

Su Chen frowned. After doing some thinking of his own, he continued, "Can you roughly confirm where the numbers are from?"

Mu Yuchen sipped some tea. "There are two that I'm suspecting. One is from Australia while the other is from City Z. If our hypothesis is correct, then Qi Feng should be hiding in Australia or in City Z."

"Leave the searching to Ah Mo and Zimo." Su Chen then said, "It shouldn't be City Z. It's ridiculous that he's not been found so near us after so many years."

Qi Lei sighed, and his eyes darkened suddenly. "He should be in Australia!"

"How so?" Mu Yuchen glanced at Qi Lei as he asked while refilling Qi Lei's cup.

Qi Lei waited for a moment before smiling bitterly. "I heard that the old man frequently makes calls to Australia. I thought it was business-related, but now that I think about it, he should've been contacting Qi Feng."

Qi Lei remembered Qi Qiming was displeased when he interrupted the calls. In retrospect, he should have been in the midst of calling Qi Feng. Qi Lei also happened to catch the phrase "Australia" in some of the conversations.

Su Chen's eyes darkened as he looked at Mu Yuchen and saw he was just playing with his teacup. He grabbed the teacup and asked, "What do you think?"

"I agree with what he said. From Ah Bo's investigations, Gu Lingsha frequently visited Australia."

Mu Yuchen then picked up his phone and dialed a number. It was Ah Mo who received the call.

"Master?" Ah Mo's voice came through.

"Focus the investigations on Australia, and try to get information on everyone that came into contact with Gu Lingsha in Australia. Pack up and fly there tomorrow night. Bring Lingshi with you as well. I'll send the exact details and information to your computer later." Mu Yuchen's calm voice reached him.

Ah Mo was in his car parked near the entrance of Imperial Sky Entertainment Club. Recently, he would be there to pick Mu Lingshi up after he was done with work.

"Master, are you saying that Qi Feng might be in Australia?" Ah Mo straightened up and asked.

"I'll depend on you guys to find him. I don't like the word 'might'."

"Yes, Master!"

"Go back and pack up. I'll get Li Si to book flights for the two of you. Head back to the Mu residence tomorrow and let Grandfather know Lingshi and you are traveling to Australia. Grandmother is with me and I'll send her over tomorrow. Try not to grab too much attention. Just act as if you guys are going for a honeymoon. Fly to France first and then plan your routes from there onwards. Understand?"

Qi Qiming was very strong at anti-spying, so Mu Yuchen had to be careful since it was only possible to find something by doing it on their own.

"Yes, Master!"

Qi Lei was impressed by Mu Yuchen's attention to detail. He had it all figured out. That way, they would definitely avoid Qi Qiming's attention. Moreover, Ah Mo and Mu Lingshi were getting along well, so Qi Qiming would never suspect that their honeymoon trip to France would be an investigation of Qi Feng in secret!

"Does Ah Mo have enough people?" Su Chen refilled Mu Yuchen's cup. "I might need to send some subordinates abroad for training. Australia might be a good choice. If there's a need, I can put the applications in."

"Too many people might catch too much attention. Just the two of them will be fine. You'll attract a lot of attention, thus it'll be subtler if we transfer them via France. Just leave this to them," Mu Yuchen replied as he glanced over at Qi Lei who had been quiet. "Master Qi, do you have anything to say about this?"

Qi Lei came back to his senses when Mu Yuchen mentioned his name. He took a deep breath and pinched the space between his eyebrows. His darkened eyes were filled with exhaustion. "What can I say about this? I just hope that you guys will let me know when Qi Feng is found. Alright, Master Su, you don't need to look at me like this. You know how my relationship with that old man is. If I can find out anything from him, I would've known where Qi Feng is by now. Even Shasha..."

"From what you've said, it's a tragedy to have a father like him." Su Chen shrugged his shoulder and threw Qi Lei a pitiful glance.

"I'm used to it. It's not really that tragic. I have food to eat, clothes to wear, and money to spend. This is the life I want, so don't spare me those pitiful glances. I don't need them!" Qi Lei put on a grin as he said in a calm tone, "As for Shasha, I'll keep an eye on her. I'll do my best to minimize her interference."

"You're really concerned about her!" Su Chen glanced at Qi Lei, trying to tease him.

"I don't want to explain about Shasha too much. I won't defend her if she's indeed wrong. What I can do now is to monitor her. I got a confirmation from my mother that Shasha will be joining Qi Kai after she's recovered. She might be involved in the South River Project. I don't know what this means, but you can find out about it yourself. By the way, can I have the document with the samples? I'll be abroad tomorrow onwards." Qi Lei put down his tea cup and stood up slowly.

"I've spoken to CEO Shen from Fu Hua. He wants to meet you next week. Will you be back by then?" Mu Yuchen stood up and handed the folder to Qi Lei.

"CEO Shen wants to see me?" Qi Lei looked surprised.

"He's interested in the documents you submitted, so he wants to talk to you personally."

"Alright, I'll try to get back before then. It's getting late now and I'll be heading back now. Call me if you need anything!" Qi Lei then started walking towards the door.

"I'll head back too. Let's talk again when Zimo gets back." Su Chen stood up as well.

When they went downstairs, Xi Xiaye and Wang Hui were sitting on the sofa watching the TV. She stood up when she saw the few of them coming down.

"Xiaye, stay home with Grandmother. I'll send them home. Hand me the car keys, please."

Xi Xiaye walked towards the drawer and got him the car keys. "Put on another layer of clothes. It's cold outside." She also grabbed his coat on the sofa and passed it to him.

He nodded and slung the coat over his shoulder before heading outside. Qi Lei and Su Chen bade their farewells and followed him.

It was already late at night, so the whole Grand Waves Villa area was quiet amidst the chilly weather.

Mu Yuchen sent Qi Lei to the entrance of the Grand Lake Villa area before sending Su Chen back to his condominium.

On the way back, Su Chen asked Mu Yuchen, "So, you really trust Qi Lei now, huh? But now that I look at him, he seems pretty genuine. What did you do? How did he change so much?"

"He's a smart guy, and I believe in his decision-making skills. There are no eternal enemies, only eternal benefits."

Mu Yuchen understood Qi Lei's situation very well, hence he trusted his own decision. His appearance today confirmed his thoughts.

Wang Hui was already asleep by the time he got back to Maple Residence while Xi Xiaye was going through some documents in the study room after a shower.

Xi Xiaye sorted the documents based on priorities. When she was done and had gone into the bedroom, Mu Yuchen came out of the bathroom wearing a blue sleeping robe.

Xi Xiaye went over and tied the sash of his robe for him as she asked, "What were you guys talking about? That was a long chat. It's already half past ten."

He ran his fingers through her hair and put his arm over her shoulder. "Nothing much, just some stuff that happened recently.

"Gu Lingsha?" She looked at him, her fingers interlocking with his while she slid her other arm around his waist.

He looked downwards and touched her baby bump. "Who else could it be except them? Su Nan is fine now. You can relax and rest at home. Take a look at yourself in the mirror."

Xi Xiaye saw herself in the mirror. She looked exhausted and had some dark circles around her eyes although it was better now compared to several days earlier.

"A lot has happened. I'm just a little tired from worrying about Su Nan."

"Go to bed earlier. Don't stay up so late at night again. Go to sleep before 10.30 pm."

"Mmm, the little thing has fallen asleep as well. It was acting up just now and Grandmother sang some songs. She said it must be a boy."

"A girl, one who listens to me."

Lately, their conversations had been revolving around their child. Master Mu could never understand why new parents always talked about their children, but now he finally understood it himself.

The next day, Xi Xiaye woke up as a result of some noise. Although the man was nowhere to be seen, as usual, he had prepared some clothes for her to change into. When she got downstairs after washing up, Mu Yinan was there reading the newspaper and enjoying some tea on the sofa.

Sis Wang was quick to notice Xi Xiaye. "Good morning, Missus!"

Xi Xiaye nodded in response. "Good morning!"

Mu Yinan looked over when he heard their voices. He spoke gently, "You're awake."

"Good morning, Grandfather! Where's Grandmother and Mu Yuchen?"

"Missus, Master went to work, and he specifically told you to stay at home and rest. He'll take care of the handover work and will call you if there's anything he needs. The flowers in the backyard have bloomed, so Elder Madam is there right now."

"Have some breakfast, Sis Wang. Get Elder Madam back here for breakfast." Mu Yinan's expression was not as strained as Xi Xiaye imagined. Instead, he looked slightly helpless, and it seemed like the conflict yesterday ended with his defeat.

Breakfast was soon served. It was a nutritious Eastern breakfast.

Wang Hui sat down beside Xi Xiaye and opposite Mu Yinan. She was definitely giving him a hard time.

Wang Hui ignored him outright. She scooped another half bowl of porridge for Xi Xiaye and smiled. "Here, have a little more. I know you don't like greasy food, so we made this."

Her kind attitude to Xi Xiaye was a huge contrast to how she usually treated Mu Yinan. He started to frown.

"Grandfather, Grandmother, that's enough now. Mu Yuchen said Ah Mo and Lingshi will be going back home as they will be leaving for France tonight. They might only be back after several months, let Chauffeur Wang send you two back home after breakfast."

Xi Xiaye remembered what her man said last night.

"What? Ah Mo and Lingshi are going to France? Didn't Ah Chen just return from there?"

The two of them were stunned.

"There are still some things that need to be handled there. It's also an opportunity for them to travel around." Xi Xiaye smiled.
