《Malec one shot》Merry christmas to all (and to all a good night)

It was snowing. Alec walked out of the backer he worked at and made his way down the road towards his apartment. The day being Christmas eve he a lot of people were crowding the streets their hands filled with shopping bags. Alec wasn't really in a rush to get home to his smelly and empty apartment. He sighed when he saw a couple kissing and picked up his pace. He was sure he would never have something like that. And over the years that had made him bitter. He was a couple of blocks away from his apartment when it happened.
A black limo with tinted windows pulled up at the curb and the door opened. And some one tumbled out falling in the snow. The limo drives away leaving who ever it was behind. Confused and more than a little curious Alec walked towards the person laying in the snow. He found a guy with golden skin and raven locks laying on his back with his eyes closed looking like he couldn't be happier being anywhere else. Alec waved a hand in front of his face to see if he would wake up but the guy stayed still.
Alec crouched down beside him and checked his pulse. The other guy laughed when he did. Alec quickly got up dropping the Man's wrist and took a couple of steps back for good measure. The guys eyes opened stealing the breath from Alec's lungs. The man in the snow had mesmerizing green gold eyes.
"Merry Christmas" the man said in a voice that was velvet soft. Alec looked around confused and back to the man still laying in the snow and looking at him with a beautiful smiling adoring his tempting pink lips.
"M-me?" Alec asked. The man closed his eyes and hummed.

"Yes you" the man muttered. Alec waited for the man to get up but after waiting for almost 10 minutes he started to lose hope.
"Aren't you going to get up? Its freezing...my fingers are about to fall of" Alec said blowing his warm breath on them. With out opening his eyes the man took off his expensive leather gloves and threw them at him. Alec caught the gloves and looked at the man confused.
"What is this?" Alec asked
"Gloves... To warm up your fingers" the man replied.
"What I was trying to say is....you should get up before you freeze" Alec said looking around.
"Get up and go where?" The man asked
"Home?" Alec replied questioning
"I can't go there" the man replied.
"Why not?" Alec asked unable to help his curiosity.
"The can you saw driving away...my father was in there. I'm no longer welcome to his house" the man said with a giddy smile.
"Your kicked out?" Alec asked softly.
"That's the jest of it" the man answered. Alec looked around for people but the streets were empty.
"I have a worn down couch....its um...I guess better than laying in snow in the freezing cold" Alec said. The man sat up from where he was laying the entire time they were talking.
"You asking me a complete stranger to come over to you house to sleep?" He asked. Alec rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly
"I guess I am" Alec said and extended his hand to help him up when the man kept looking at him hesitantly.
"Come on" Alec said encouragingly. The man took his hand and got up. They walked towards Alec's apartment silently when they finally got there alec opened the door and let the other man in.

"This is my apartment... Um sorry its small and old and smelly...I..." Alec statered blushing
"Its fine...what's your name by the way?" The man asked as an after thought
"Alexander light-.... Alec...I'm alec" alec said stopping him self half way remembering that he was no longer a lightwood.
"Thank you Alexander, for letting me stay here" the man said and sat down on the rickety couch. On of the couch's legs broke just as he did. Alec sighed and rubbed his face harshly.
"You can take my bed" he said and turned around heading towards his room. The man followed after him.
"Where would you sleep?" The man asked when he saw how small the bed was
"I don't know...the floor" Alec said
"Its freezing in here. I'm not letting you sleep on the floor" the man said stepping before him.
"Unless your willing to cuddle my bed is barely big enough for one" Alec said angrily.
"I don't have a problem with a little cuddling Alexander, Darling" the man said with a smirk. With an irritated sigh Alec took off his clothes and started getting ready for bed throwing the man a lose shirt and sweats.
"What's your name?" Alec asked once he was done changing
"Magnus bane...well I'm just magnus now" the man said sighing softly. A few minutes later both men climbed into that small bed and fell asleep in awkward positions.
....
[3 years later]
"Magnus wake up" alec said shacking the other man
"What is it?" Magnus asked sleepily
"Its our anniversary and its Christmas so get up and give your husband a kiss Mr. Banewood" Alec demanded firmly. Magnus's eyes snapped open and he grinned up at his husband.
"Has it been a year already?" He asked
"A very beautiful year" alec whispered softly looking at magnus with adoration
"I never thought my father kicking me out would land me with a beautiful husband and a great like all in a span of a few years" magnus said cupping Alec's cheeks
"Neither did i. But I'm glad we both god kicked out of our house. I'm glad your not a bane and I'm glad I'm not a lightwood because we would have never found each other. I love you Mr. Banewood." Alec whispered and kissed him softly
"I love you too, Mr. Banewood" magnus replied and kissed him softly.

Primacy Online
Life on Earth was nearly eradicated in World War III, but using alien technology, the Patriarch of the Church of the Resurrection built a new society from the ashes. He created what he called the Constructed Reality MMORPG, Primacy Online, a world so real that the players could not distinguish it from reality. After outlawing wars between the city-states on Earth, he declared that all wars would be fought inside the world of Primacy Online. Thirteen hundred years later, the release of Primacy Online VI: Legacy of Balor signals the beginning of World War IX. Players from Earth's city-states will be locked in cryogenic capsules and play Primacy Online in War Mode. Their achievements in the game will determine the victory rankings of their city-states, but if they die in the game, they will die for real. Patrick Armagh found flaws in the game mechanics of Primacy Online and exploited them to rise to the peak of the game. But when the Church declared he was cheating, he was perma-banned from the game. Now, the Church has declared that Patrick and all the other perma-banned cheaters will be included in a special Church group for World War IX, where they can earn redemption for their sin of cheating. However, Morgan Danan, Speaker of the City of Mann, and the generally acknowledged number one player of Primacy Online, has a deal for Patrick. With her help and his method of cheating, he has the chance to become a virtual god within Primacy Online, but by taking up her offer, he will become an enemy of the Church. Like a significant percentage of Primacy Online players, Patrick suffers from an ultimately fatal, degenerative nervous system disorder. He has less than five years to live. With death staring him in the face and nothing to live for, he accepts Morgan Danan's offer, and once again, enters Primacy Online as Crom Cruach, a disgraced legend. Will Crom Cruach, once again, become a legend, or will he be destroyed by the Church? What secrets has the Church hidden inside the game?

A note from the Author: PLEASE leave a review and alert me of any plot holes, weak portions, and anything else. I am in desperate need of beta readers and feedback. I wrote this around the new year, 2020. It's about 40k words and the first in a planned series that follows Gar "Alany" Darron and his agency of detectives as they track missing persons in the city of Throne. I have the sequel planned but not written. Once this one is completely uploaded, I'll be uploading another, unrelated series that as of right now is roughly 160k words long, and somewhere in there, I'll write the sequel to Frame of Mind. I plan to go back and forth between the two series for the foreseeable future. Thanks for reading.
