Alec was able to talk Magnus into leaving his room after pleading with him for days and when he finally agreed he took him to his spot in the nearby woods. They rode there bike to the middle of the woods. Alec threw his bike on the grassy field took of his shoes and walked into a creek.
"This is my spot, its all mine. I come here to practice archery and read." Alec said and turned to look at his best friend who was studying him like it was the first time he was watching him speak.
"I cant tell you the number of books Ive read here" Alec finished looking back to the rest of the creak.
Magnus silently followed but once one of his legs was in the creak he stumbled and almost fell not expecting how cold the creak was. Once he balanced himself he looked from his freezing feet to his unaffected best friend.
"Oh my god, its freezing" he said amused that Alec just walked into it.
"The water comes down from the mountains. Thats why its a little cold" Alec explained. Magnus hummed in acknowledgment to what he said and leaned down to pick water up with his hands. He washed his face sighing at the cold water washing away his sweat from ridding his bike all the way here and the hot sun.
Once Magnus was cooled down he looked up and smiled shyly at Alec. Alec smiled back and kicked the water splashing Magnus in the process. Magnus splashed him back and they played around for a few minutes.
After a while they got out of the creak and laid down on the grassy field to soak up the sun. They lay side by side on their backs and just enjoyed each others company till Magnus spoke.

"I love this Alexander" Magnus mumbled with a dreamy sigh
"What?" Alec asked confused
"Everything" Magnus replied still not turning to look at him
"The woods and the creak you mean?" Alec asked turning slightly to see his best friends skin glowing under the sun light
"Us....you and me" Magnus said shyly
Alec sat up and leaned on his left elbow to see Magnuss face. Alec reached out and traced Magnuss lips. Magnuss lips parted and he released a shacky sigh. Alec grabbed his chin and turned Magnuss face towards him. Magnus sat up and leaned on his right elbow to look at Alec.
Magnus leaned in close. Alec tilted his head to the side so he could ghost his lips over Magnuss. He knew since Magnus still felt insecure about what he was feeling for Alec if he moved to fast he would scare him away. Magnuss lips parted when Alec licked over them. Magnus shuddered thinking how Alec had kissed him the last time they where this close. He wanted to move in closer and pull away at the same time.
He leaned even closer tilted Magnuss chin with his fingers and kissed his best friend softly. Magnus could feel his body heating up from that simple kiss. He could feel how Alecs lips trapped his upper lip and how his lips had held Alecs lower lips hostage. How when they pulled away their lips linger a bit longer together that usual. Alec slowly moved his hand and cupped his cheek. They kissed again. This time it was like a kiss to make sure the first one happened. Magnus had no control over his body and neither did he have control of the other who was making his brain spin.
Alecs hand was on Magnuss neck. Their lips were moving slowly in sync like they were trying to enjoy each others lips as much as they could before the kiss ended even though they knew they could kiss for hours and hours without being disturbed since they were in the jungle. Magnus couldnt take the slow sensual kiss any more he wanted their lips to pick up pace. His lips were parted and hungry for the bruising kisses Alec had introduced to them the first time he kissed him.

"Better now?" Alec asked pulling away from Magnuss lips and leaning back on his elbows to look back at the creek. Magnus couldnt handle the frustration anymore. His brain was screaming no but his body needed more of Alec. He needs their lips to meet again. Whether it was soft and slow sensually teasing kisses or rough and bruising lustful kisses he didnt care but he needed more. He smashed his lips with alecs and cupped his jaw so he wouldnt be able to move his head away but alec pushed him off before it could lead to anything else.
"No no no no" Alec muttered breathily
"What?" Magnus asked sounding hurt
"I know myself Magnus. I would kill to take you right here right now. But you dont want that. Youre not ready Magnus. I can wait till your ready. I have to. Dont tempt me or Ill break" Alec said in a soft warning.
"b-but..." Magnus started. Alec took his hands with one of his hands and cupped his jaw with the other.
"Youre not ready. You need to accept yourself first Magnus. And its nothing to be ashamed of. I can wait. I WILL wait for you." Alec said softly. Magnus lay back on the ground and groaned making Alec chuckle. After watching Magnuss just lay there for a while. Alec stood up and peeled off his shirt and threw it at Magnuss face. Magnus looked away quickly when he saw that his best friend was striping.
"Magnus" Alec called
"y-yeah?" Magnus answered
"Come take a swim with me" Alec asked. Magnus looked at him and couldnt stop his eyes from wondering down his body.
"a-alec" Magnus said shakily
"Its alright if you dont want to" Alec said and walked into the water.
Magnus sat there and watched the way Alecs body moved. He studied every muscle. He watched the water running down his body when he stood at the shallow end every few minutes. Saw as water splash around when he pushed his hair back. He could feel his own body heating up and he knew it wasnt because of the sun. He wanted to be able to touch Alec. To trace every muscle and lick and mark him. He knew that he would never gather up the courage to do anything about it and he just that there frustrated and depressed looking at what he could never have or call his till they went home later in the evening.
That night Magnus cried himself to sleep. He begged god to cure him of this sickness or to give his strength. Alec on the other hand laid there in bed thinking about the look on Magnuss face while he was swimming. He had caught a few looks of longing Magnus sent his way and was determined to do something about it starting from the next morning. They both fell asleep with resolutions for the next day. One to avoid his best friend the other to give his best friend what he silently desired. Who would be able to achieve their resolution neither knew.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
