《Malec one shot》Fight for love

alec woke up early. he checked his phone to see that he had two hours before he alarm would go off. he layed there one hand streached behind his head the other on his naked torso. he looked at his celing. he remembered seeing a dream before waking up but he couldn't remember it. he sighed and sat up. he decided to take a shower and get in an hour of training in before he had to go on patrol. after he showered he put on some black pants and a plach shirt and his combat booths. he made his way to the training room and started shooting his arrows into the target dummies coming out of every corner.
he felt an itch like he was being looked at. he didn't stop shooting but he started paying attention to his surrounding. once he finished the arrows in his quever. he put his bow down and started practicing with serif blade. the itch was still there. he was getting goose bumps. he was definatly being watched but he couldn't figure out where the person was.
alec stopped after 20 minutes and decided to go for a run out of the institute. he couldn't take staying there any more while knowing that there was someone in there spying on him. he took the longe route he usually didn't take because he didn't want to be back before he had to. a few minutes later he slowed down infront of a luxury apartment building he was confused because he felt the place was familiar. he started walking to the door of the building and stopped when he relised what he was doing.
"alec" called some one alec looked up and was surprised to relise that it was the door man of the building that called him
"hi?" alec said a little confused how this mandane knew him
"long time since you've been here. me and the other were worried" the man said. he was even more cofused after that statment. he was sure that he had never been here before but then again if the mandane knew him and the place seemed this familiar he had to come here at least once.
"i'm fine. i was just.... busy" alec replied when he relised that the man was waiting for a response. the man nodded and opened the door for him.
"thank you" alec muttered before walking in. he made a b line for the elevator and exhaled in relife when no one one followed him in. he pressed no 3 and stood staring at the buttons when it light up and the elevator started moving.

a few seconds later the elevator door opened at the third floor. alec walked out of the elevator and let his instincts guide him. he took a left then a right and ended up infront of a door with the numbers 314. he took a deep breath and knocked. he was practically shacking with nerves.
alec froze when the door opened. on the other side stood a gorgouse asian man. he had golden tan skin, green gold eyes and raven locks. his hair was spiked, he was wearing a light shade of makeup, his fingers which were perfectly manicured were adored with rings and he had on alot of necklesses.
"alexander" the man whispered seeming surprised. so surprised infact that he droped his glamor and alec saw the man's cat eyes. 'warlock' alec's shadowhunter mind shouted and alec steped back.
"d-do i know you?" alec asked trying not to stuttur
"you did" the man replied and opened the door fully and steped asside to let alec in. alec walked in tense and on guard.
"what do you mean i did? did you help me on a mission or something?" alec asked turning to the warlock who was looking at him with sadness
"no, we did work together sometimes but thats wasn't all. we ......" the man stopped him self.
"we what?" alec asked taking a step closer and when magnus looked up at him from where he was looking on the ground taking a step back.
"c-can you?" alec said guesturing to his eyes
"sorry. its just that... you love to see my eyes. didn't mean to scare you" magnus said and put the glamor back on
"they don't scare me. there just distracting" alec said looking away from the warlocks questioning gaze.
"h-how come i don't remember you?" alec asked quickly not wanting the man to dwell on what he just said
"alexander.... i can't" the man said looking away from him
"at least tell me your name" alec pleaded
"magnus bane, high warlock of brooklyn, at your servise. for a prise of course" the man- magnus said and alec remembered the first time the man had introduced his self with thoes exact words. he remembered him, izzy, jace and clary seeking help from him and the man who was not wearing pants at the time bluntly flirting with him. he steped back surprised
"i-i..... i met you 5 years ago" alec said with a gasp

"alexander don't. you shouldn't be here " magnus said and turned away from him
"what happened magnus? why can't i remember what happened after?" alec asked
"alec...just leave. i can't go through this again" magnus said and walked the table where he kept his drinks on and alec saw something that caught his eyes. he kneeled next the table and picked up one of the arrow head he makes him self.
"why is this here?" alec asked magnus sighed and drowned the drink he just made
"magnus please answer me!" alec pleaded when magnus walked out to the balcony
"don't you get it alexander, i can't. even if i told you they would just take your memories again anyways. i can't lose you again" the warlock said in a broken voice.
"what do you mean lose me again?" alec asked confused
"i've said to much, please alexander leave me be" magnus said. it was then that alec noticed that magnus was wearing a ratty sweater which looked alittle too much like the one he recently lost.
"where did you get that sweater?" alec asked. magnus's eyes went wide and he looked away
"magnus was i living here? were we room mates?" alec asked more confused that he has ever been in his entier life
"alexander..." magnus sighed "you did live here. but were the furthers thing form room mates" magnus added still not looking at him
"what happened?" alec asked magnus placed both his hands on the railing and something caught alec's eyes. it was one of the rings magnus was wearing
" w-where did you get that?" alec asked geusturing to the lightwood ring on magnus's fingers
"you gave it to me.... on the night of our two year aniversary. on this very spot. you made dinner and everything and you were blushing so beautifuly" magnus said looking at the city with teary eyes.
"w-ere we..... in love?" alec asked finally catching up
"yeah" magnus whispered and looked at him.
"we were so in love. we thought we could go against clave rules and get married. but they...." magnus stopped and harshly wiped away his tears. alec grabbed magnus's hands and huged him as tight as he could
"what did they do mags?" alec asked weakly. magnus pulled away from alec's hold
"they threatened to de-rune you.... i couldn't do that to you" magnus said brokenly he then leaned up and connected there lips and in that second everything came rushing back to him.
how he walked away from his wife to be on there weding day and kissed him. how they went to an ethiopian resturant for there first day. what happened after here in magnus's loft. there first time and how nervous he was. the fear he felt when he thought he lost magnus when the soul sword was activated and how he first said i love you. how he was so nervouse to proposes and how happy he was when magnus said yes. how the clave had threatned him that they would take magnus under custody if he doesn't walk away( the part about him being de-runed was knews to him). he remembered the first time he had found his way back to magnus and how he was taken to the silent city to get his memories wiped. he rememberd how he had run into magnus after that and how this happened before. he gasped when magnus pulled away from there kiss.
he pulled magnus back into a rough and meaningfull kiss. magnus melted against him. he felt how magnus's fingers run through his hair and scratched his skull. he moaned into the kiss. when they needed air they pulled away and alec hugged magnus.
"magnus... i ... i remember... i'm so sorry" alec said against his ear. he felt how magnus's body rocked with sobs. he took magnus back in and sat them down on the couch.
"alexander..." magnus started
"shsss... it okay. don't say anything. i know. i love you so much magnus. i'm so sorry i didn't fight harder for us" alec said softly. he pulled the crying warlock into his lap and held on to him tight.
"what do we do now?" magnus asked once he got a hold of him self
"now we fight... for eachother... for our love" alec said softly magnus leaned up and kissed him with every fiber of his being. with longing and despair and with promise.
"lets fight" magnus whispered against his fiance's lips once they pulled away. alec smiled softly and nodded.

Polyrhythm Time -- A Bard's Tail
Have you ever met someone who loves what they do so much that they'll skip sleep, food, love and safety to pursue it? What happens if that kind of person encounters a different dimension, yet holds on to their love of music, and specifically of rock drumming. When the world ended at the end of 2057, Kevin Snackenbridge slept through it. He'd been drumming all night. tl;dr-- System eats world -- Monsters and magic ---- LitRpg -- Practice, not levels and stats ---- MC Bard -- support class -- low power ---- MC chooses music over survival skills --tl;dr Kevin trips into the Internal Strength Dimension where Thaumaturgy is king. With the help of a talking plant and several vicious monkeys he learns that the rule is "Change or die." Kevin changes, but remains firmly a drummer/Bard in this high fantasy setting. This is Kevin's adventure, and that of the friends he meets. Kevin has the soul of a real musician. He loves music, specifically rhythm and drumming, and would give his left nut if it would help him drum better. He's a rock drummer, and his language is that of a rock drummer: slanged, duded, and frequently laced with profanity. He focuses on music, and makes decisions that even the author doesn't approve of. However, that means all his decisions are Kevin's decisions, not those of a system-optimizing power-gamer. There's points (All of Arc 2) where he wanders aimlessly. Goals seem foreign to him at points. What would you do if you were a musician, and the world fell apart and you no longer had an audience or band-mates. You'd be kinda lost. Kevin is. Arc 2 is a lot of Kevin not knowing what to do, going with the flow, and not being articulate enough to know that he doesn't know what to do. 1. This story follows a young man, Karl, as he is abruptly reborn in another world as a goblin without explanation. He struggles to find out why it happened to him as he explores a world that is both unnervingly familiar and yet still strange. *** I have given this story several content tags that may not fit the early chapters, such as litrpg. It will take a few chapters for those elements to be introduced.

After the End: Serenity
We all want to believe we are heroes of our own story - unless we want to be the villain, of course. At the end of everything, the Final Reaper decided he hadn’t been a hero. Driven by a desire to right the wrongs he was subjected to, he killed everyone who wronged him or his people - which turned out to be everyone that wasn’t killed by someone else first. He'd won - but it was a hollow victory. Eventually, Order’s Voice found a way out. If the only existing being would agree to give up most of his power, the Voice could reset the multiverse to an earlier time with a few minor changes. Of course, the Voice couldn't ask it that way. It could only ask if the Final Reaper was willing to start over from when Earth was first brought into Order. It was an easy decision, and yet it wasn’t. Was he willing to go through eons of pain again to not be alone? Yes. In a heartbeat. Not that his heart beat anymore. Now it would. Perhaps he could even be a hero, this time. When he landed in his old body - more or less - on Earth, the Final Reaper once again became Thomas. He was both and neither. He needed a new name for a new life. Serenity. ------------------------------------------ While this is technically a System Apocalypse story, it's a System Apocalypse that is designed to have a large percentage of the population survive and prosper. There are a lot of problems that come with the appearance of the Voice, and it's entirely possible to lose. Earth has some special opportunities, but also special challenges. The first time around, Earth won the first round and lost the second. Serenity has ten years from when the Voice arrives to prevent that from happening. It will be a group effort; Serenity can't win alone - which is difficult for someone who's been alone for as long as he has. Of course, that's only his second priority. ------------------------------------------- Updates Daily A note on the nonhuman lead tag: He isn't human, and hasn't been human for a very, very long time (or maybe not long at all, depending on how you count it). He still thinks of himself as human, either way. The content warnings are mostly to give me room to write; this fiction is not intended to be edgy, but once in a while a character will swear or someone will get seriously injured. The cover image is a Chandra/Hubble composite image of VV 340 / Arp 302 / UGC 9618. While we're not going to space itself any time soon in the story, people from elsewhere are coming to Earth and Serenity will visit other planets. Plus, I like space imagery.
