I know I'm a day early on going to Choji's house but I just don't want to go back to the orphanage. Why can't anybody just listen to what I want just once. I hate it here. My stomach growl in hunger since it's getting later and darker. I'm gonna go sleep in a tree today. I really don't want to see anyone. I walk towards a big tree looking at it. I really don't want to climb this tree it's too troublesome. "Mabel!" I hear someone yell.

I look back ad see Choji's dad. I walk up to him wanting to be polite to him. "Good evening. What are you doing here?" I ask

"Good evening Mabel. I'm heading home. I just came back from a mission. What are you doing out here so late?" He said.

I awkwardly laugh. "I got in a fight with the matron again and I needed some air." I said.

"Again? You mustn't fight with her all the time you know." He said.

"I know it's just she won't listen to me and keep insisting on me becoming a ninja." I said back.

"That must e tough but it isn't so bad being a ninja." He said.

I was about to reply when my stomach growled loudly making me blush in embarrassment. "How about coming today for dinner and then tomorrow you can go to Shikamaru's house?" Choza said laughing a little.

"Can I come tomorrow too?" I ask blushing.

This time he full on laugh at my reaction. "Of course you can. Come on let's go. Choji will be happy to see you." Choza said.

I nodded following Choza to his house. We walk a little bit in silence enjoying each others company and then I see a regular house. A house that I long to want and to have a family. Choza open his door and a warm light appear inside. "Come on in." Choza said.

I went in and started taking off my shoes just like Choza did. "Choza is that you?" A woman's voice said.

"Yea and I brought a friend" He said

Then a chubby woman with short hair came out wearing an apron. "It's nice to meet you I'm Choji's friend Mabel. Sorry to intrude a day earlier." I say bowing.

"Oh my God you must be little Mabel!" She said excited.

Next thing I know I am being squished in a hug by the woman. After she let go she was smiling a huge and I mean huge smile. "I'm Choji's mom and you can call me mom." She said without hesitation.

I smile back and a small blush form my cheek. "Now hold up Tedsa, our son is too young to pick a wife yet." Choza said chucking.

"Oh don't ruin this for me. I know she will be a good wife to Choji. Right Mabel?" She said.

A huge blush cover my face making it burning hot. I look at the ground not able to look them in the eyes. I then nodded without thinking making things even more riled up. "You see!" Tedsa said.

"Mom, What's all the noise about?" I hear Choji say coming towards us.

We look into each others eyes and instantly my face became even hotter. "wow! You really have a hard solid one." I hear Choza said knowing what he is saying.

I look down in embarrassment. "What's Mabel doing here?" I hear Choji say.

"I found her and invited her for dinner. Now we get to have two nights with Mabel." Choza said patting my back.

"Well you all better wash up because dinner is ready." I hear Te- I mean mom say.

I go up to Choji smiling and he smiles back. "Come on I'll show you where the bathroom is. Mom's cooking is the best, of course your's is good too. Almost as good as my mom." He said blushing a little.

I giggled at his cuteness. "Thanks Choji. You are the best." I said.

After a while we all at down with the food sitting on the table. The steam rose high above the ceiling. It all look like a feast and it was just pure beauty. The aroma, the sight, the way it was all out in a balance manner. We thank the God's and began to fill our plates. I couldn't pick at all so Choji filled my plate for me. "Thank you Choji." I said in embarrassment.

"You'r welcome." He said smiling back at me.

When I took the first bite of the shrimp it was pure goodness. Everything was perfect. The taste, the texture, and the aroma. "Tedsa are you a God? The texture, the aroma, and the taste is all perfect, no, it's way better than perfect!" I shouted in excitement.

I could hear everyone laugh around the table at my little outburst. "When Choji said you love cooking he wasn't kidding and remember call me ma." She said smiling proudly.

"You already charm my family Mabel." Choji said smiling at me.

"How about on days when you're not busy I'll teach you some pointers." Te- I mean mom said.

"That would be amazing Oka-san." I said in excitement.

"Oh yea. Mabel I bought you something." Choji said getting up.

"What? You didn't have to get me anything." I said blushing.

"But I wanted too. I'll be right back." He said running off.

Choza giggled wrapping an arm around Oka-san. "What a lively family I have." I smile at his answer.

Did I finally have a family I can count on? The Choji came back running to the table. "Here, I though this would look beautiful with your beautiful hair." Choji said handing me a pair of feather earrings.

I blush at him calling my hair beautiful. "Do you really think that my hair is beautiful?" I said blushing and accepting the gift.

It's beautiful the way it's so clean and soft. "I think your beautiful entirely." He said.

My blush darken. "Thank you Choji. I love them." I said putting on the earrings.

The night went on with smiles and laughter. Nothing but pure happiness. "It's getting late so I should probably go back to the orphanage." I said getting up from the table.

"It is getting late, Choza you should walk her back." Oka-san said.

"No, it's fine. It's not that far and I really don't want to trouble you." I said.

"I insist Mabel." Choza said.

"Really it's fine. I'll see you guys tomorrow. Have a good night." I said walking out the door.

"Bye Mabel. Get home safe ok?" Oka-san said.

"Of course." I said smiling.

"I'll see you tomorrow Mabel. Good night and sweet dreams." Choji said.

I blush. "Thank you Choji for the present and everything. Good night and sweet dreams." I said walking towards the darkness.

The wind blew in the darkness of the path. A small girl walking back to the orphanage with the biggest smile she ever had. But then she has an eerie feeling of being watch. She stop and look around seeing if anyone was there. When she found no one she continue to walk ignoring the feeling of being watch. No one was around making her alone and cold. She decided to suck up all the scolding she was gonna get and go to bed. Suddenly as a breeze pass by in front of her appear the man she was most afraid of. He stood there with his tongue sticking out and a wicked grin plaster on his face. She stood there shaking in fear, seeing the man who murder her entire clan. Suddenly he took a step forward reaching for the girl. She scream as loud as she can hoping someone would come and save her. He grab her and gagged her lift her over his shoulder. Mabel struggle to escape the man she most fear. Tears streaming down her cheeks and she beg someone to come help her.

Then Choza came out seeing Mabel being grab by him. Orochimaru smile at him seeing the worry on his face. "Let her go!" Choza said

"She will be mine forever." His eerie voice said.

Then he disappeared like a flash. Choza went to the Hokage warning him on what happen, remembering about the terrified face Mabel had.
