《Battle of the Killers》53 | Clementine Is Friendly

Layla's happy demeanor morphed into deranged anger. "You're a mean manipulative cunt who likes to pray on the weak and the poor to make yourself feel better. You've probably done it your whole life, right? You did it here. Creating your own group to go after the weak and loner people like me."
She gripped Gmie's bun, entangling her fingers into the strands. Gmie cried out in pain, trying to pull away, but she was locked in tight. Demo started cursing and fussing, trying to get over to save Gmie, but she ended up falling over because of the rope around her ankles.
"You called me a weak bitch remember? You said you chose whether I lived or died, right? Right?" Her fingers knotted into Gmie's hair and snatched out a large clump.
Gmie hollered in pain, body flinching. "Ouch!"
But Layla didn't stop. She kept pulling and pulling at the scalp, taking out clumps. "How does that feel? Huh? Huh? How does it feel to know I choose whether you live or die? Huh?"
The curly clumps fluttered through the air like sad black clouds. Gmie continued to struggle and scream, but she was at Layla's mercy. Layla just laughed and kept pulling until she tossed Gmie away for a second.
Grabbing the bucket, Layla dragged it over and took out a handful of shit and slapped it onto Gmie's face, using her fingers to stuff it into her mouth. "Eat this. Evilness is in your entire form and being. Swallow my light. God's light."
The more Layla stuffed shit into Gmie's mouth, the more it began to pour out of the corners, coming out in thick sludge forms. Eyes crossing, Gmie began to projectile vomit everywhere, covering Layla's face and body.
Layla cackled, that joyous look entering her eyes again. "See, everyone? See the toxins leaving her body?" Layla pointed to the thick vomit on the floor. "The evilness is leaving her. She's letting the light in."
"No, she's vomiting because you're stuffing your disgusting shit down her throat," Demo said, spitting at her. "Get away from her."
"You're another who doesn't deserve a cleanse," Layla snapped, glaring at Demo. "You'll die in the hellfire."

Tears streaming down her cheeks, Gmie continued to vomit everywhere, covering herself and Layla and the floor. It was a thick brown and pink liquid. The sour smell bred with the shitty sewage smell, creating a new wave of funk that almost made me throw up.
"Am I the only one enjoying this?" Yaz asked, staring at the suffering Gmie who was hiccupping and dry wheezing at the moment.
Nope. She deserved everything she got and more.
"Why are you doing this?" Gmie cried, shit and vomit dripping from her lips. "I threatened y-you and you're getting revenge. That's a sin-sin."
"True, but I forgave you." Layla stood up again, twirling and humming like she was a Disney character singing in the forest. "Zimmie told me forgiveness puts me right with God. I'm helping you clean your sinful body. You've done some really bad stuff. You tried to murder Betinia. You gained the trust of others just to use them and kill them later."
"When did I do that?" Gmie spat on the floor, teeth brimming with brown shit. "I never used anyone."
Eyes widening, Layla tapped her eye. "I'm always watching. Just like the cameras. People ignore me here, thinking I'm nothing. But I'm always watching and listening. And I heard you talk about Chi. I heard you call her a stupid dumb slut, and that she'll be the first one gone in your group."
"What?" Chi gawked at Gmie and then at Layla and then back at Gmie again. "You said that about me?"
"Yup," Layla said, straightening up. "According to her plan, once all the other contestants were dead, she wanted you dead next. Said that you're only needed to fuck the guys and that's all. Sluts don't deserve to live is what she said exactly." She turned to Gmie. "Right? Didn't you say that about your friend?"
Gmie threw up her guts again, shuddering as vomit and fecal matter pooled around her curled up body. "I-I ne-neve..." She never finished because she threw up again, vomit coming out in huge shit chunks.
Chi scowled at Gmie who wouldn't meet her eyes. "I'm not a slut. Yes, Clementine's friendly and likes to fuck, but I only fucked Rucker since I've been here. One person."

One? Wait, she didn't fuck Khan?
"Who the fuck's Clementine?" Yaz asked, confusion forming on her face.
Panting like a bull in heat, Rucker coughed and spat on the floor. "Her pussy." His eyes were still trained on Layla, watching her every move.
Yaz flicked her head back, pushing her glasses back on her nose. "You named your pussy Clementine? Like the girl from Caillou?"
Chi bristled, swerving her chin down. "No. I named it that because it's juicy like the fruit."
Yaz burst out in giggles, shaking in her ropes. "Clementines are acidy as fuck. Your pussy causes heartburn."
"She does not," Chi said, tossing her head back. "She's very healthy for the chest and throat, thank you very much. I've gotten no complaints." Then she turned to Gmie. "And fuck you. I'm not some dumb slut you can just use. You needed me. I didn't need you."
Gmie, who was staring at the ground, let out a sudden cruel snigger. "You think I need some stupid cunt like you on my team. Ha! Ha! Ha!" Spitting out a huge chunk of god-knows-what, she popped her head up. Slushy brown liquid, thick globs of spit and vomit caked her face. "Yeah, you would be the first one to go. You know why? Because you're fucking useless. All you can do is fuck and suck. And you couldn't even fuck Khan, so yeah, you're a useless loser."
Chi bellowed out an irritating squeak, fists balling. "You're the worthless one who can't do anything for herself. You make your lapdog Demo do everything because you're a pathetic, spoiled brat."
Demo hardened her face. "I'm not her lapdog."
"You follow her every move like an unpaid servant." Chi bared her white teeth. "I'm surprised you don't lick her kankles or bark at those huge feet of hers."
Gmie spat at Chi, missing her by a few feet. "I don't have kankles, bitch. You're the one whose thighs don't match."
Chi gasped, jerking back. "How dare you? At least I don't have a botched pigeon nose."
Gmie went to speak again, but Layla interrupted.
"Shut up," Layla said, rolling her eyes. She pointed at Gmie. "You're an evil person who doesn't know true love or compassion."
"What do you know, huh?" Gmie coughed, dark fluid spewing out her mouth. "You're just a deranged loon who's been brainwashed by her sick, pathetic father."
"Don't you dare talk about my daddy!" Layla took more handfuls of her excrements and piled more down Gmie's throat, stuffing her like a hog-tied turkey.
Gmie just kept throwing it back up as Layla kept on. Every handful of shit was met with an equal amount of throw up. It covered everything around them, resembling a swampy toxic pool.
The horrible odor attacked my nostrils, signaling for me to run for the hills, but I still couldn't move.
Layla grew tired after a few minutes and stopped. Gmie tumbled over onto the floor in the shitty-vomit swamp, face landing in a chunk of bile. Her gasps came out in short bursts, eyes flickering into her head as flowing shit leaked from her mouth.
If it wasn't for the occasional eye movement, I would've thought she was dead. Pangs of pity rang through my core as I watched Gmie struggle to breathe while vomiting. Earlier, the vomit was chunky, but now it was watery, almost like she was reaching her limit.
She did try to murder me, but parts of me still felt bad. Being forced to taste someone else's shit — yuck.
I shuddered at the thought, and my heart quickened when I saw Layla squat over the bucket again, shitting once again.
Layla stared at the ceiling and let out a piercing laugh. "Now, God. Who deserves to be cleansed next?"
My tummy quivered. Gmie's fate would be my fate eventually. No, it wouldn't be my fate. I needed to think of a way out of here now.
Closing my eyes, trying to ignore Layla's moans, I did something I never did before. Pray.

Death By Protagonist
Donavan has made his living by wading through hundreds of stories in search of the quality few he and his firm believe to be worth publishing. After a strange twist of fate, he gets trapped inside the fantasy book of a particularly campy and amateur author. There he will have to navigate a world built on wish fulfillment, power fantasies, and fanservice in order to fix the story from the inside out if he ever wishes to leave. But can he bring himself to play the many roles necessary to manipulate and guide the characters to a satisfying conclusion? Authors Note: Death By Protagonist is meant to be simultaneously a satire of, and love letter to the isekai/portal fantasy genre. It both makes fun of and embraces many tropes of the genre such as harems, explicit sexual content, OP protagonists, and other things many people might think of as "trashy." If that doesn't sound like your thing, you've been warned, but I hope you'll give it a shot anyway. Update Schedule: Plan is to at least put out one new chapter every week, hopefully two.

Sect Core
A peak cultivator is betrayed by his sect for being of common birth. The sect decides to not only kill him but transform him into a core, so they can use him for cultivation. But to get full control of all the sects formations, all of his energy has to be banned from the galaxy. In this manner, the main character is thrown into the rift in the middle of the galaxy. This rift transports him into another galaxy, where his journey to become the core of the most prominent sect begins. --- This is my first story, and the release schedule will be spotty in the beginning because I still have to do a lot of world building and thinking where the story should go. But I decided to put it out into the world to get some feedback so I can see what people think about it and maybe even get some inspiration. --- The cover image is not my own. I copied it from the internet. I thought it was cool and it suited the story. All rights reserved for the owner of the image.

The Ingress Estate
Jonathon Eucole. Soldier. Scholar. Now an Initiate, the dedication without dedication, he finds himself both prisoner and master of an arcane edifice, the Ingress Estate, which can neither be escaped, nor controlled; only diverted, maintained, and pacified. This is a gothic fantasy story, set in a world in which gods and the afterlife are not only real and known, but were both established in living memory of some of the inhabitants after millennia of arcane warfare with the being who constructed the mundane reality the humans occupy. But this isn't the story of those who colonized the afterlife at the cost of their own humanity, but a somewhat more ordinary man, in somewhat extraordinary circumstances. This is also a LitRPG-lite, which means there's a system of sorts, fragments of which can be observed through Jonathon's eyes. Don't expect level-up screens, or statistics, or indeed numbers much at all, beyond those the inhabitants of the world itself apply to understanding their own reality. It pretty much doesn't matter to the story, I mention it so those who don't want to read LitRPG at all can successfully avoid it here. I don't have any particular plan here, just some ideas inherent in the genre. This is a character concept I toyed with some years ago; an old man, bright of mind but weighed down into apathy, both by his past and his responsibilities for a terrible estate that cannot be left without stewardship. Don't expect any kind of overarching plot or story, because that's really not what this is about. Also don't expect much dialogue. Or character development. Or much of anything, really, because I've planned nothing in the way of an actual book, here. Other relevant information, if you've read this far for some reason: The MC isn't super-powerful to begin with, and probably never will be. He's a veteran with some useful skills, and the insight on how to use them, so can deal with the world's ordinary threats reasonably well, but not too much beyond that. --- Currently on hiatus, as currently the story has a rather poor ratio of effort-to-personal-payoff. I may return to this once I have a clear idea of how to get the stories where I want them. I've started a more standard LitRPG using the same system. But if you like intelligence characters who cleverly min-max their classes, it probably isn't the story for you; it's the story of a rather ordinary guy who winds up in a very similar universe.
