She heard her cellphone go off ringing multiple. She groan pulling the sheets over her head. She sleepily reach her hands from under the cover and lowering the volume smiling to herself. "Much better." She whisper to herself.

As she was drifting back to sleep a gush of air blew off her blanket and she tumble with it. "Oofc" She landed on her back looking up to see a familar face. "Sorry..." Barry as he stuck out his hand. She took his hand but ended up falling ontop of him because the blankets were tangle with her feets. "Nice apartment." Barry commented at her while there faces were inches from each other. "Thank you but I'm pretty sure you didn't break into my place so you could tell me facts." She spoke with sass.

Cisco and Caitlin look at two walking in then at each other then back at them. "It not what you look like!" The two both said in sync. Varity roll off him.

She huffed "Little help here? " She squirm on the floor still tangle up. Caitlin came over untangling her from the blankets. She stood up next to them with her hair a mess and still in her long blue shirt. She cross her arms over her chest. Cisco spoke up, "We call you to see if you wanted to head to get coffee but you didn't pick up so we thought something happen..." He trailed off. "Cisco your my best friend so why are the reasons if I don't pick up?"

"Reason number 1 is if your on a business meeting."

"Mmhm keep going..." She held up a finger. "Reason number 2 is if your upset with me which is most of the time. Wait are you upset with me?"

She smack her forehead with her hand. "Yes Cisco if you don't tell me the third reason."

"Reason 3 is beauty sleep... Ooooh."

"I should kill you all. But sadly your my only friends."

"Ouch." Caitlin replied her hand over her heart.

"I'm coming since I'm now up with make yourself comfy in my living room I should be done in five minutes."

She put her hair in a small pony tail while the rest hung out and grab a pair of heels in her closet and slip them on. She walk further in to grab some rings and a purse and headed to the living room. "How much is your rent?" Cisco ask looking at the chandelier that hang on the high walls. "How much are scholarships?" She replied. Cisco blew out a low whistle. She smiled and look at Barry and Caitlin who were smiling at her. She headed toward her car keys and grab them. "Come on before I change my mind and this is a rent to own Cisco." She finish grabbing Barry hand and look at Cisco and Caitlin. "Why don't we do movie nights over here?" He follow behind "You never ask." She smirk.

As they enter jitters Varity spins around facing Caitlin. "Have I told you how much I love me some coffee?" Caitlin grab her pulling her against her. "Caitlin if you wanted some loving you could just ask." Varity wink at her She then hit her shoulder. "Ouch! You could of just said no sheesh." She pouted rubbing her shoulder. "You been avoiding Barry."

"No I haven't I held his hand."

"Yes you are and you always hold hands."

"If I was avoiding him I wouldn't talk to him."

"Well your body language proves different." Varity rolled her eyes "Yes flopping around on the floor say so much." She recall from this morning.

They headed up stairs lacking behind Cisco and Barry.

"Don't you think your going to fast?" Cisco ask Barry. "What are we talking about?" She whisper to Caitlin. "Barry second date." She whisper back to her ear.

"Oh..."

"Its a second date." Barry look back at Cisco while they pause as the staircase.

"Nah nah nah, men going to fast, look I mean your fast there fast and then there fast. Am I being settle enough?" Cisco said as he look back at us. "Your really not." Barry reply. "Cisco right your increase blood flow and increase heart rate theoretically cause you to..." Caitlin trail of as they were on top of the step and heading toward are table. "Your going to have to think about a lot of dead puppies like where talking a whole kennel." Cisco added in. "No! Not the puppies!" Varity grab Cisco hand. He pull her with him and side hug her. "And baseball, cold showers you know what nuns."

"The poor puppies." Varity sulk while resting her elbows on the tables. "Okay Varity I can assure you I won't hurt a puppy or puppies." She squeal in delight and sitting right up.

"And this is just a second date."

"Second date with who?" A voice spoke behind. Varity turn around in her seat to see Iris. "Iris!" She got up side hugging her since she was holding drinks.

"With Linda Park the sport reporter."

Cisco phone rang and he move away from the conversation.

"That great Linda seems great and you are great so great." Varity felt Iris staring her down and looking back at Barry. She tap her finger nails again the table awkwardly. Cisco came back to the conversation. "Hey I got to go and help a friend."

"Is everything alright we just got here?" Varity spoke staring at Cisco leave.

"Yeah I'll see you guys later." Cisco reply while heading toward the stairs.

They all look toward the television talking about burning man. "Burning man...Caitlin weren't you asking about him a few weeks ago?" Iris said as she stare at Caitlin.

"Well it appears letting Ronnie roam free is no longer a option." Wells said as he stare at the news on the screen. "He not even Ronnie anymore, he Martin Stein walking around Ronnie body like a vampire."

"The next original." Varity whisper to herself.

"Is there any reason Stein brain isn't control of Ronnie body not the other way around."

"Simple darwinism expect the brand new organisms will select the strongest part of itself in order to survive, survival to the fitness in case Ronnie body, Stein mind. With any of him he badly hurt a innocent man and we have hunted meta humans before. Caitlin we need to know if your on board of what needs to be done here."

"How do we find him?"

"The scientists that Ronnie attacked is a former colleague of Martin Stein. Martin Stein is indeed in control of Ronnie body he might be trying to figure out what exactly it happening to him."

"What do we know about him? I don't even know how Stein look like." Barry approached Varity father. She turn around toward to screen to a man. "Martin Stein." Harrison said looking at the screen.

"That Stein?"

"It is."

"I've seen him before." Barry said approaching the screen. "When?" She ask as tilting her head. "On the train in the day the accelerator exploded."

Harrison sent all of the rest to visit Stein wife to ask a few questions. They were walking around following her while Barry ask if Stein heard about Star Labs. "Of course he talk about Star labs he was always vocal about the competition." His wife responded. "Star labs is actually helping the CCPD with your husband disappearance Mrs. Stein." Varity spoke as they all step in there tracks.

"Oh please call me Clarissa " She responded.

"Conway prize for scientific advancement." Wells look at Stein achievements. "Stein was very proud of that one." Clarissa added on. "Oh I always hope to win one of these myself and oh look at that he won it three times." Varity chuckle to herself and hug her father from behind. "It okay dad your a winner in my heart." She then got up and headed toward Clarissa.. "Take a special kind of person to make my father jealous." She smile toward her. "Oh Stein had a talent for making people jealous even me. I sometimes think Martin love his theorems and experiments more then he did me."

"I'm sure that not true." Caitlin said walking toward her. "And you haven't heard from your husband since he disappear? " Barry ask "No."

"Mrs. Stein can I show you a photograph?" She nodded as he handed a picture of Ronnie to her. "Have you seen this man?"

"Yes I have. Who is he?"

"He just a person interested in your husband case." Varity father spoke. "When did you see him?" Caitlin question Clarissa "I stated getting the feeling someone was watching me and sometimes I still do and about a month after Martin disappear that young man show up here." She explain how one night the man show up mumbling he was losing his mind and ran away when she call the police for a intruder. They thank her for her time and exit her house.

"So it appears they have something in common beside sharing a body they both feel the need to protect the woman they love." Wells look at the rest while Varity smile to the ground "Clarissa said she feels like she being watch." Barry spoke out "Well then, this is all makings of a stake out."

"But Barry has a date tonight." Caitlin look at Wells. "I'll cancel." Barry look at Varity then at her father. "No, no go if we need you here something tell me we can get you back in a hurry." He smiled flashing off.

"Well sadly I can't join stake out night I also got a date."

"You what?!" She snicker happily. "Guys calm down the only date I'm getting is with work."

"What happen to Cole?" Caitlin question curious, "I might have sass him out and told him I'm over him so yep no more sulking. But I'll text your codes names. "

Varity sat down while dosing off thinking of Ronnie. She heard footsteps approaching she look to where the sound was located to see Ronnie all clean up. She wipe at her eyes tiredly making sure she wasn't hallucinating. "You're all staring."

"Our apologies." Wells added for the team. "It is remarkable I feel clearer than I have since the accident what did you give me?" Cisco replied "Mood stabilizer."

"The same formula to treat identity disorder. I assume this was your idea. Very clever Cait." Stein said while approaching her. She look down to the ground. "Don't call me that please."

"I apologies." She continue speaking, "We would like to run some test on you if you don't mind."

"Of course Dr. Snow" he walk away following close behind.

Barry took a call in a other room while Varity look at her dad. "Do you think we will ever get Ronnie back? And if we do will everything be different between all of us?" She asked her father looking with him with big eyes. He knew she needed some assurance. "We are going to get Ronnie back I promise you Varity," She nodded slightly. He continue, "For the second question time will keep changing and someday everything will be different between us." She titled her head a small frown appearing. "Even you and me?" She asked innocently not knowing his plans.

He hesitated briefly he didn't want anything to change between him and his daughter but he needed to return to the future .

"Even you and me."

Ronnie had no shirt on and his muscles were showing off so much Varity had to face the other way. "How your temperature?" Caitlin ask Stein. "A Little warm." She had a small smirk, "Ronnie use to always run warm." She then turn the monitor around which had a temperature of 108.9,"I'm guessing not that warm." Cisco replied

She bit her bottom lip. "Can I talk to him?"

"Sorry my dear I'm not sure it work like that I can feel him though I have these memory's, memories that I'm sure that are not my own. One is particularly strong Pete Mon park its famous for the hustin falls. I know that I never been but I can remember those waterfalls perfectly."

She looked surprise before looking down at her ring finger clutching it close to her chest. "That were Ronnie propose to me." Varity smiled she remember helping Ronnie picking a place so he can propose to Caitlin. After he finish proposing to her she jump out a bush and scared them. But don't worry she gave them a minute to make out which was really disturbing from her view.

"Ronnie really love you that I can feel."

The intercoms interrupted there moment. "Dr.S now and Varity can we see you for a minute."

"Excuse us." Varity replied as they made there way to leave. "You okay?" Barry ask Caitlin. "Yeah it just really confusing."

"What isn't confusing is what happening to are man now. Ronnie body is projecting Steins like a host projecting a parasite. I worry that if his temperature continue to rise it will set off a chain reaction." Wells explain looking at the information displace on the monitor. "Then what happens?"

"He could go nuclear." Caitlin sat down with her knees up to her chin while Varity rested her head on her shoulder tying he best to comfort her. The door the creak open. "That not freaky at all."

"Tell me about it." She replied while picking her head up. Cisco came toward Varity reaching his out toward the girls they hesitated looking at each other before gently placing their hands on his. They made it back in front of her father. "How long does he have?" She questioned nervously. "If his temperature keep rising current paste no more than a couple of hours."

"But we can fix it right?" Y-you can split them before it to late." Caitlin clutch her hand close to her chest. "Any attempt we make to separate the two of them could be catastrophic nuclear explosion and a nuclear explosion this magnitude can level the whole city unless..."

"U-unless what," He look to the floor. "Unless the host body will be no longer functional." Caitlin eyes widen covering her mouth. "You want to kill Ronnie?" Varity look horrified as those words slip from Caitlin mouth. "What? You can't! You promise me..." She could hear her heart beat loudly. She squirm uncomfortable. "You promise Ronnie would come back to us, dad please."

"I don't want to kill Ronnie but in this scenario Ronnie is the host body." She turned away not being to look her father in his eyes. Caitlin began pacing. Cisco spoke up, "If you kill Ronnie you kill Stein that two people."

He rubbed his forehead adjusting his glasses frustrated, "I don't know how else to stop it. My guess is that if Ronnie, professor Stein knew the consequences that we are all facing they would all make the same decision for two lives for millions."

"Can you give us a minute?" Caitlin ask the two as they nodded while Cisco led Varity away whispering comforting words.

Varity was sitting next to Caitlin while she share her blanket snuggling close to her. Wells stall sighing to himself thinking of there distraught faces. He wheeled himself in facing them as they sat up. "I have an idea and Cisco and I are going to give it a try."

"Thank you." Caitlin spoke sincerely. "I'll get professor Stein." Cisco walk in "Yeah um I was looking for the professor and well he gone."

They found out Stein figure out what was happening to him as his temperature rise. He didn't want two million innocent people dying. He already live most of his life he was grateful that Star Labs was trying to help him but he need to see the bigger picture which was protecting the love of his life, his wife.

Cisco and Wells work on a piece of technology that was suppose to help them with there current situation. "I located Stein he in badlands middle of no where 30 miles outside of Central City." Wells spoke quietly, "He sacrificing himself."

"How much time does he have left?" Barry ask Cisco. "12 minutes."

"Done." Wells exclaimed finishing making a final tweak on the device. "What is it?" Barry asked. "This is a quantum splicer." Varity asked an question, "Will it work to separate them?" He shifted his glasses turning hi attention towards her. "We will know in 12 minutes."

"Great either he going to become jam to this peanut butter earth or might just live." Varity looked confused at Cisco.

Caitlin grab the splicer. "What are you doing?" Barry ask. She look toward Wells. "Barry doesn't know how to operate the splicer."

"Cisco will guide me."

"There not enough time."

"Let go. " Caitlin looked at Barry "Wait!" Varity ran toward them and kiss Barry on the cheek and Caitlin. "Now go." She smile the wind blew her hair around and the papers blew on the ground. She sighed and pick up the papers. She then got a headache while she pick up the papers to see Ronnie holding a gun to his head. She quickly place to paper on the table. It okay Varity, Barry there and he almost as fast as a bullet. He won't let him die.

"He not going to make it he gonna blow." Cisco said. Her headache became more suspense. "Barry get her out of there!" She saw an huge explosion on the monitors. "T-they have to be alive." She whisper. Cisco came toward her, but she push him away. "He has to be alive. O-Other wise I wouldn't be having this damn headache." She convince herself rubbing her temples closing her eyes. "Varity I need you to look at me."

She saw Ronnie laying in the floor surrounded by snow. She open her eyes.

"Your eyes are purple." Cisco gasp while she look at him for a few seconds then her dad. Wells quickly smiled but hid it. "I got to go." She ran out, "Varity wait!" Cisco call out but she ignore his calls.
