"Is he going to die?" Elizabeth whispered as she sit on the floor of her office's bathroom. Leo found her in there when she wasn't answering his calls. When he reached out to Ethan, he told him that she was in the ladies' room and was just standing there stunned. She wasn't crying, but she wasn't reacting either. She was shocked. Everything is supposed to be alright. Her father was supposed to be having fun with his friend in London. He was supposed to be relaxing – not fighting cancer all alone.

What hit Elizabeth the hardest was that she was there when her mother was at her absolute low – she was there for her even after everything she did to her family – she didn't let go of her till the very end, and now when the man she would ever love he most needs her – she is thousand of miles away from him – living her best life while he is struggling to live? What kind of daughter does that make her? She was too stunned to process the news that Silas had just given to her. He was a mess on the phone. She had to ask him to slow down to understand him better, but it was better when she didn't know – when she couldn't understand. It didn't hurt her this bad then.

Leo came rushing for her. His hugs and kisses on her head weren't comforting. She couldn't care for them right now. While he was holding her – telling her that everything will be okay. She slides down on the dirty floor. Leo went down with her – he didn't let her go even for a second. He was hugging her from behind while she numbly sit. That's when the worse thought hit her. Her father was going to die – is he? Where she was gagging to hear a negative response from Leo, Leo struggled.

What was he supposed to tell her? Owen isn't well. He knows that. The doctor in him wants to tell Elizabeth not to get her hope up – there is not much that the treatments can do. But the boyfriend in him wants her to know that everything will be okay, that Owen will live a healthy and happy life with his kids. But that would be a lie. Leo sighed and kissed her head, "Come on, get up." He mumbled to her and tried to make her stand, but she made no effort. With every passing second, Leo felt guilty. How can he ever tell her that he knew about Owen's deteriorating health for months?

Maria sat outside on the balcony with Silas. Both of them were silent – none of them has said a word since Silas stopped crying. Silas was sitting with his arms around his knees. His gaze was fixed on the floor, while Maria sat on the chair behind him. She still had tears filled in her eyes, her chest felt heavy. She had one hand resting on Silas's shoulder while with the other one she was covering her mouth. She still couldn't believe what Silas told her. Since she came to know about Owen, all she could recall are good memories with him – because Owen never seeds any bad memories with him.

Silas heaved a sigh. He lift his teary eyes and stared at the sky, "Sean died," He doesn't know why he said that. He just couldn't keep it in. Now that he needs to be with his father, he just couldn't keep this news away from Maria. She will know sooner or later, it will be better just spill it now rather than making her know on her own and going through the process of grieving all alone.

After Silas broke the news, he waited for her to react – to say something to him, but there was nothing but silence between the two of them. Her hand on his shoulder didn't move, she was completely still. To check on her, Silas turned around to look at her and found her already staring at him with her pooled with tears. She gulped and blinked – making the tear fall from her eye, "I know," She whispered – stunning Silas.

Silas brought his eyebrows together, "What?" He couldn't believe she already knew, but she didn't say anything. Maria lowered her gaze onto her lap and let out a shaky breath, "I received a text from Elna last night," She whispered. Silas frowned, "What text? What did she say?" Silas curiously asked her. He curled his hands into a fist just at the thought of Elna blaming her brother's death on Maria. "Can I see the message, please?" Silas asked Maria when she failed to answer him. Maria sighed and nodded her head – handing her phone to him.

Silas quickly opened the text message and read it.

You didn't do anything. It was never your fault. Sean and I ruined our lives when we agreed to help Ruby with her plan. Please, don't blame yourself for Sean's death and if possible please, forgive him. He was not a bad guy.

Silas was stunned to read the message from Elna. He re-read the message again before he slowly sat down by Maria's feet while she wept silently. She fisted her hands. Her shoulders were shaking as she cried. Silas didn't say anything to her. Maria already knows that it didn't make him do this. She is just upset because there was a time when she knew the sweet and caring Sean. She wasn't crying for the obsessive Sean, but for the old Sean – that was her friend. Silas held her hand tightly in his and let her cry – while he sat there silently. Maria glanced at Silas after a few minutes and sniffled. She has to be strong – for Silas. He is going through a very hard time and she needs to be with him.

Maria cleared her throat and wiped the tears off her cheek, "We should go and see Elizabeth," She suggested. Silas didn't answer her – but kept staring into her eyes. He sighed and put his hands on each side of her face. Silas had his eyebrows drawn, "You are allowed to grieve, babe. You don't have to be strong for me – or any of us. I knew the news of his death would hit you hard and that's why I didn't say anything yet, but now that I will be off to London soon – I couldn't keep it away from you," He paused and shrugged, "Well, you already knew, but still." He added.

Maria held onto his wrists and softly smiled at him, "To be honest, it is going to take some time for me to get used to the fact that he is no more," He voice broke as she struggled to continue, "Crying right now will not make this easy on me." She shrugged. She snuffled, "And, I am truly worried about Elizabeth. She must be devastated. If I stay here, it will only get harder for me, so let's go and see her. I will be fine," She softly spoke.

Elizabeth and Leo were in Elizabeth's office. She was staring at the floor while she numbly sat on the chair and Leo was on his knees in front of her. She recalled Leo's word that he told her a few minutes ago and slowly blinked. She averts her gaze on him. She was trying to process the news, "What do you mean you already knew?" She slowly asked – she doesn't understand. How could he know and not tell her about her father's health? Leo can never keep such a big secret from her, can he?

Leo couldn't lift his gaze o match hers. He couldn't keep it to himself anymore. He knows she is angry at him and she has every right to be, but he was also in a difficult situation. Owen asked him not to say a word to her or Silas and Marcus. It was not his secret to spill, he had to keep it. "I am sorry, Lizzy, but Owen asked me not to tell any of you. I wasn't supposed to know, but I read his reports and I told him to tell you all before he went for treatment," He paused and looked at her – while she stared at him bewilderedly. "But he wanted to tell you in his own time," He added.

Elizabeth couldn't believe what she was hearing. She quickly got on her feet – her office chair rolled behind and she looked down at Leo with a deep frown on her face, "Did you know that his condition was not getting better?" She asked him. Leo sighed and got on his feet as well as he slowly nodded his head, "Yes," He whispered.

Elizabeth shook her head, "How could you do this to me?!" She yelled at him before she stepped forward and pushed him. "You knew that my father wasn't getting better and yet you kept it to yourself?! How selfish can you be? Do you have any idea how much time you wasted?!" She broke into sobs. This was the first time she was crying since she received the news. "I could have been with him these two months. You took that chance from me! I don't care what dad said to you – you should have told me, Leo! You are such a jerk!" She pushed him away from her again.

Leo wordlessly took it all. He felt the lump in his throat and let Elizabeth yell at him. She was right. He would have reacted the same way if it was his father. He should have told her a month ago. "I am so sorry, Elizabeth, I know what I did was wrong but I didn't know what to do." He replied helplessly.

Elizabeth shook her head, "No, you knew what was the right thing to do, and yet you didn't do it." She accused him. Tears were streaming down her cheeks and nose and gritted her teeth and flared his nostrils, "You know what? I don't want to be around you, so just go. I will be going to New York with Silas tonight. I will only come home to get my things before I leave. Thanks to you, we have already wasted enough time being with our father." She wept. Leo opened his mouth to ask for her forgiveness, but Elizabeth wasn't having it, "I don't want to hear it, Leo. I am already stressed enough, so please – just leave me alone!" She yelled at him.

Marcus had his phone pressed in between his ear and shoulder while he carelessly folded his shirt and put it in his suitcase, while Charlie watched him as she stands at the door of their room, "I don't care about that, Jimmy. Just make sure he is taken to the hospital, okay? I know he will resist but don't listen to him. I have already talked to Franklin about it. And please make sure that the best team of oncologists see him there, okay? I don't care if they have to fly the best doctor from whichever part of the world. I will bear all the expenses, just make sure that we get the best of the best, you hear me?" Charlie could hear the stress in Marcus's voice as he talks on the phone.

Charlie walked to him and take his shirt from his hand. He glanced at her and briefly put his hand on her back. They didn't need words to communicate. Marcus couldn't talk and pack his bag without getting more and more agitated, so Charlie will do it for him while he talk on the phone. She sees how carelessly he has thrown his clothes into the suitcase, which is so unlikely of Marcus. He is always the organized one while she tends to be messy.

Charlie took all his clothes out and started to re-fold them and placed them in order – just like he likes. Marcus has walked out of the room and returns to see Charlie re-packing for him. He sighed and stood behind her. He placed his forehead on her shoulder before he wrapped his arms around her stomach. Charlie stopped folding and leaned back to him. She placed her hand over his and gently caressed it. Marcus kissed her shoulder, "I wish you could come with us. How am I going to do this without you?" His voice was heavy from all the crying and exhaustion.

Charlie, Maria, and Leo along with the kids will stay here, while the three siblings will be flying to London, first thing tomorrow. Silas, Maria, Ezra, and Elizabeth were already on the flight to get back home, while Marcus had everything ready for their departure the next morning. Charlie and Maria can't leave with the kids – also, Maria has a dog as well that can't be left behind. Where else, Leo can't take off from work. Marcus told Charlie that he will try to get them there once he sees himself what the situation is with Owen.

Charlie completely agrees with Marcus – if they didn't have children to look after, Charlie still would have preferred for the siblings to go along first. They need each other, more than they need their spouses or boyfriend. They need to spend time together with their father. Marcus has already planned to fly Maria and Charlie along with the kids later – and she is fine with it.

"You will do fine, Marcus. It is better to go along with just your brother and sister. Believe me, you need them right now more than you need me." She told him softly, "And they need you too," She added. She paused and turned around to face him, "And we will be there soon. Kathie and Ella need to see their grandpapa get better, right?" She whispered as her voice wobbled. The uncertainty in her voice teared up her eyes.

Marcus smashed his lips together while his eyes starts to tear up as well. He nodded his head before he wrapped his arms around her, hid his face in her neck, and cried. Charlie tightly hugged him back and patted his back while he sobbed in her arms. Marcus has been crying all day, still, his pain and tears don't seem to end.
