《Harrisons - The Last Chapter》Chapter Eleven: Just Married

"Stop touching it," Elizabeth hissed and slapped Silas's hand. He flinched and glared at his sister who rolled her eyes and fixed Silas's bow tie. "Here, it is straight now. Don't touch it." She added and looked sharply at him.
"Thanks," Silas mumbled.
Leo smiled as Elizabeth walked back to him. She was dressed in a beautiful Ivory-colored dress that ended just below her knees. Her hair was tied up in a messy bun with a few strains of hair on her face. She decided to let go of the eyeliner when she couldn't get them equal. She didn't go for heavy makeup. Her lips were painted with a pink gloss while her cheeks were tinted with a pink blush. She looked absolutely stunning to Leo. He couldn't take his eyes off her.
Leo, on the other hand, was wearing a black tuxedo. What Elizabeth doesn't know is that in one of the pockets he had the watch Ruby left for him was getting heavier. He brought it along to wear it in front of Elizabeth, but no matter what he does – he couldn't bring himself to wear it. Whenever he tries, everything that his sister had to go through because of Ruby flashes through his eyes. He might have forgiven Ruby, but he cannot forget what she did.
Leo looked at her while she talked to Charlie that stood beside her and heaved a sigh. Elizabeth must think that her grandfather's watch must be rotting somewhere in Leo's closet, and he never said otherwise. He doesn't want to raise her hopes because for now, even he isn't sure if he is ever going to put it on. Maybe – just maybe he can wear it some other time. It was too soon for him.
Charlotte was running late. She was engrossed in making sure that Maria's dress gets delivered and everything stays fine so that she didn't get time to get ready on time. She had already dressed Kathie in her dress. She made sure that someone looks after Kathie while she dresses Ella and herself – thankfully Owen stepped up and took Kathie to the main hall while Franklin asks her to give him Ella once she is dressed as well. Marcus is busy with Silas, so grandfathers are on their babycare task today.
Where Kathie wore a tea pink dress just like Charlotte's dress. They decided to match. Ella was dressed in a green frock with a small bow clip on her head and her tiny white shoes. She seems very excited to be dressed up as she was throwing pushes and kicks in the air, "Someone is excited." Charlie cooed to her as well as pulled up Ella's tiny sock that slid down during her kicking in the air session.
Charlie couldn't wait for Marcus to see her. Marcus was wearing a green tie – so Ella was matching with her dada. Also, Marcus loves baby socks – well, that man has a disturbing attachment with socks overall – he loves them! But he gets very excited when he sees Ella's tiny feet wrapped in them. Sometimes, Marcus's act is too adorable. "Wait till your dada sees you," Charlie chuckled.
Charlie picked blabbing Ella in her arms just when there was a knock at her door. She opened the door to find William standing – looking a little lost. As soon as his eyes fell on Charlie, who was almost ready – she only had to put her heels on, he gaped. She thought it would be Franklin to get Ella. "Oh hi, I thought Franklin was coming to get Ella." She said to William while she bounced the baby in her arms.

William blinked rapidly. He looked smitten. He didn't want to make Charlie uncomfortable so he smiled at her softly. He gulped, "Oh yes, Uh – I am here to get her. Mr. Wayne asked to bring her stroller along," He informed her.
Charlie sighed and waved the assistant in the room as she walked in. The door remained open, "I am so sorry, William, you have to do all these things for my family when this isn't your job description." She apologized as she placed Ella back on the bed.
William's cheeks look a bit flushed. "Oh no, Miss McGill. I have no problem with it. Mr. Harrison is paying more than enough for all the extra work, so I guess – it is all worth it." He chuckled nervously as he shrugged.
Charlie smiled and pushed Ella's stroller from the corner of the room, "I am glad that he does. I will make sure he pays you plenty. You have been a great help lately," She confessed as she took Ella in her arms again and placed her into the stroller, and put the safety belt on. She bend down and kissed Ella's soft cheeks, "Time to go to see grandpa, sweetie." She mumbled to her daughter before she once again kissed her nose. She can't get enough of her.
Charlotte turned around to see William standing by the door with his hands tied in front of him and a soft smile on his lips. He was looking at Charlie and Ella with admiration twinkling in his eyes. "She is all set to go," She told him as she pushed her stroller closer to him.
William glanced down at Ella, who now had her fist in her mouth, and grinned, "She looks very cute," He couldn't help but comment.
Charlie chuckled, "I know, right? I can't wait for Marcus to see her." She told him with a glint in her eyes.
William smashed his lips together, "Mr. Harrison is a very lucky man," He commented as he glanced at Charlie before looking down at Ella. Charlie only smiled and nodded her head. He is a lucky man – he has two beautiful daughters. Charlie doesn't give her enough credit, but he is lucky to have it in his life as well. The way she has devoted her attention to maintaining her family is very admirable.
William turned around to walk out of the room while pushing the stroller along with him, when he halted and turned around, "Oh, before I forget," William said while playfully slapping his forehead. "Miss Elizabeth was asking you to get to Miss Maria's room as soon as you can. She asked me to tell you to get there in five minutes," He conveyed Elizabeth's message. "She was trying to reach you on your cellphone, but you never answered." He added.
Charlie gasped. She completely forgot about her phone that was charging somewhere in the corner. She must have left it on silent when she tried to put Ella to sleep after feeding her. She slapped her forehead. "My phone! Right," she said and fetched it from the small table in the corner that was already filled with a few paper bags.
She checked it to find a few missed calls and messages from Elizabeth and one from Marcus.
"Thank you, William. I will be there. I just need to put on my stilettos." She mumbled under her breath and sat on the edge of the bed before she bend down and picked up the beige stilettos that had an ankle strap on them. She hates tying them up.

William was about to turn when he saw her struggle with the ankle strap. She was trying not to bend too much to put a crease on her dress. He hesitated a little before he decided to offer, "Um, do you need my help?" He asked.
She looked at him and wave her dismissively, "Oh no, I am fine. I will get it." She chuckled under her breath while her perfectly curled hair was slightly going out of proportion. William could see that in hurry she was only making it difficult for her, so even when she didn't ask him, he decided to step forward.
He got on his knee in front of her, "Let me," he said without looking at her. His eyes were fixed on her stilettos.
Charlie hesitated. She felt weird letting William tie her shoes, "Um, no – please, I am fine." She protested embarrassedly, but William was almost done. He was quick to tie the straps around her ankle. He was done in a minute and with a glance at her flushed face, he got on his feet. "Thank you so much, William. You didn't have to," She mumbled.
William smiled, "You don't have to thank me each time, Miss McGill." He replied. "I will take Ella down to her grandfather now," He nodded his head before he turned around and pushed the stroller out of the room.
Charlie was still sitting on the edge of the bed. "Okay," She mumbled. She was embarrassed for letting the poor guy tie her shoe straps.
The time rolled quickly. It was now time for Maria to walk down the aisle. She had an unsettling feeling in her gut. She couldn't point if it was due to what happened to her before when she was married to Silas, or if it was just some wedding jitters. She inhaled and exhaled – just as Charlie asked her to do when she felt nervous.
Charlie and Elizabeth has already walked down the aisle as her bride's maid and now it was her turn to walk in. She was nervous. Not because she was getting married to Silas again, but because of the eyes that will be on her in a minute. She tightly held the crutches under her arm and heaved a sigh. She doesn't feel confident with herself. Not as a mother – not as a wife – she just feels useless.
Even when she was beautifully dressed in a white lace dress. It was not too long to get caught in her crutches nor was it too short to show too much of her skin. It was designed for her comfort. She decided to wear a veil along with a light amount of makeup on her face and her hair was loose and was perfectly blow-dried to have the volume in them. She was holding a white flower bouquet in her hand as well. Under her dress, she couldn't wear the heels she want to wear – instead, she was wearing flats. She looked absolutely stunning – but not in her own eyes. She had stopped feeling beautiful, but she never let others know about her doubts when it comes to herself. She keeps them in and hopes that one day she will overcome them.
The wedding ceremony was small, but it was magical for both, Silas and Maria. There were just close family and friends gathered around to celebrate their love. Elizabeth had done a beautiful job at decorating and managing the entire ceremony. She had proven to be very organized when she can very messy. Maria will not forget to thank her sister-in-law again.
Maria was walked down the aisle by her father. She could see the mist in Silas's eyes when he saw her walking towards him. She didn't miss how Marcus had put his hand on Silas's shoulder while he wiped his eyes. Maria chuckled through tears, she didn't want to cry but saw Silas – standing there – ready to take her as his wife even when Maria was a mess. She couldn't help but shed a tear. She snuffled when her father kissed her head and gave her hand in Silas's hand.
Silas and Maria exchanged vows. There was no one dry eye in the room. Leo softly smiled at his sister, who chuckled at something funny Silas said during his vow – Leo completely missed it only because he was focused on his sister. She was smiling so brightly. He was glad she found her happiness – even if it is in Silas Harrison.
Marcus looked like a proud elder brother – looking at the couple with so much happiness in his eyes. Where Elizabeth and Charlie were crying through the vow exchange. Leo passed them both tissues before they ruin their makeup. Kathie stood with Charlie – looking at Maria dreamily while Ella peacefully slept the entire ceremony in her stroller. Ezra was in Marcus's arm and when Silas asked him – he passed the little boy to his father.
Maria and Silas said their vows to their son who didn't understand a word his parents were saying but he looked happy. Both of them kissed Ezra on his cheek – causing him to giggle. Marcus sniffed and wiped the corner of his eye. He was happy to see his brother and his family.
Owen's eyes didn't miss any of his children. He looked at his eldest boy, Marcus – who stood beside Silas with his hand on his brother's shoulder – being an elder brother to him like always. He felt proud of him. He then looked at his youngest daughter who was in tears, but those were happy tears – he wishes that no evil ever gets to her. She is his brave child. His eyes finally went on Silas – his boy was finally complete, thanks to Maria.
Owen's heart tugged when he thought about Ruby. How much he wishes she was a good mother to his children – how much he misses her at this event. She messed up everything for his family, but still, he couldn't shake the love for his wife off his heart. He wished everything was normal. In his imagination, Ruby was a devoting mother to his children – she loved Maria and Charlie just like she loved Elizabeth. How much he wished that she was here to see how happy his children were with the people they love.
The minister announced Maria and Silas husband and wife – the entire hall clapped and cheered as they had their kiss as wife and husband. "Hello, Silas Harrison's wife," Silas mumbled against Maria's soft lips. His heart was full of content – he doesn't believe anything can spoil his mood now. He finally binds his name with hers. They were finally married.
"Hi there, Maria Wayne's husband." She replied to which he chuckled and kissed her again.
He felt complete. He had his wife by his side and his son in his arm.

No Strings Attached [Rewritten]
Warning Just so you know, you better be paying attention to the chapter title or else it's going to be like travelling across multiverses. Explanation Due to a single comment made by a wonderful person, or some douchebag in real life, I have decided to create two seperate stories. A rewritten version, and the original version. The rewritten version will somewhat follow the original storyline of the original version, but will have extra content, extra side stories of course rewritten personalities. The original one will be like a rough draft of where I want the story to go. Like for instance, the original story is like the first Link from 'Legend of Zelda', choppy but fun to read. The rewritten story is the Link from any game during and after Windwaker, smooth and somewhat follows the main premise. Overall both are going to be probably terribly done but hey, I'm creating a furture and past story so what should you expect. - Styx Whatever just put up the revised description. - Ariel Edited Summary Jay W. Blu, a dashing and charming rich boy who's been spoiled his whole life. He is very cocky, has a case of egomania and isn't exactly what you call a 'Relatable Main character', unless you somehow fit one of these descriptions and then relate all you want. He had everything you would probably want if you weren't pessimistic, realistic, or chronically depressed. But as most reincarnation/summoning stories go, he get's himself killed at whatever age he was and is sent to another world. Normally, he would be summoned as something you would call a hero, but since that's to cliche by my standards he is something else. Instead of being the hero of the people that he was told about by a friend, he instead summoned as the anti-hero aka, 'The Hero of Demons'. Now he must traverse the lands slaying opposing heroes as he tries to keep his mind straight, although it's to late. There will be weird people along the journey like a fangirling war general, a hive mind and a manly magical girl? Oh well, Jay is too pure to see love anyways.

Her second death points detectives Alton and Cook of the Unjust Existence Extermination Investigation Force in the direction of an agent of a foreign power, and suggests the existence of a greater vampiric plot that undermines the reputation of the city for fair treatment of living-impaired citizens. Set in the world of Manifest Destiny - a shared hombrew D&D 3.5/Pathfinder 1 campaign setting that has been in use since 2007, this is a fantasy police procedural similar in style to Law & Order. Retired player characters make cameo appearances. This work originally won NaNoWriMo in 2015, and will update every Saturday until complete.
