He came out of the locker room just before the game was going to start against the Falcons. As soon as he was recognized by fans, they began the infamous 'HARRISON' chant.

Harrison was doing so much better. He didn't have headaches anymore, and his eyes weren't sensitive to lights. Although he wasn't allowed to lift yet, he maximized on what he could do by running with Carrie and working around the house. Before it got very cold here in North Carolina, they did some maintenance around the house by pulling weeds and trimming the bushes. He got his workouts in by carrying the heavy buckets full of weeds into the woods.

Carrie stood on the sidelines for today's game against the Falcons. She accepted her job back with ESPN after bargaining for a raise which she easily got. Her job was so much easier now with her new boss, who didn't push her to get things done so fast.

On top of that, she took another job as the Panthers team photographer. It was something she always wanted to do if writing didn't work out for her.

She took a few pictures of Harrison on the sidelines wearing his favorite black Panthers jacket with blue sleeves, as well as a pair of sweatpants, and a Panthers winter hat. He wore a headset and held a playbook.

Luke jogged over to him. He had been doing a great job of taking over for Harrison while he was hurt. Both of them could clearly see how much he learned playing with Harrison. In addition to Luke now running the defense, he borrowed Harrison's captains patch for the three games he would miss.

"You look good running the defense out there," Harrison teased with a smile.

"I'd look even better with you out there to help me."

"I got you over here."

The Falcons kickoff returner took a knee in the end zone, signaling for a touchback. The ball would be placed at the 20 yard line.

Harrison was glad he could be on the sidelines for this game against the defending NFC champions. The other thing was that he knew Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan well personally, and on the field. The two played at Boston College for a year before Matt was drafted by the Falcons.

As Luke was about to jog onto the field, he held him back. "Watch Matt's play fake."

"Okay."

Harrison's headset was wired in to the speaker in Luke's helmet. Just as Harrison did when he was on the field, Luke would be able to hear play calls from the defensive coordinator. Today, however, the final play choice by the defensive coordinator would be run through Harrison. And he could choose to change the play.

The Panthers defense was holding up against the Falcons. Harrison wished so badly that he could be out there with the rest of his teammates.

He made a couple of key play changes that helped hold the Falcons in key situations. Although he wasn't on the field, his presence could still be felt in Carolina's defense.

It was down to the final two minutes of the game with the score tied at 10. The Falcons were in field goal range with only a few seconds left on the clock. Harrison squatted along the sidelines and watched with the playbook against his chin as the field goal went through to put the Falcons up by 3.

They needed the kickoff return to win. Because of the importance of kickoff, Harrison pulled the entire special teams until over and told them how they would have to preform a lateral play to even have a shot at the end zone.

Coach Ron Rivera put Christian in as the kick returner. Harrison detailed the play they would run one more time.

Everyone on the sidelines watched with anxiety as Christian caught the kickoff and started to run it back. Just as he looked like he was going to be tackled, he threw a backwards lateral pass to Thomas, who threw it right back.

Christian had daylight. He juked out the kicker and had a straight shot to the end zone where he scored a touchdown to upset the Falcons 16-13. The Panthers now had a 9 game undefeated streak.
