A/N - I can't find anywhere in my book of what happened to Coco (Paige's Dog)...

- Paige's POV - The Next Day -

So, I've really just been laying around today and resting like Doc told me to. I got to leave last night, and she told me I can't train for like three weeks, so I'm just having to stay put right now.

I'm currently propped up in the bed I now share with my beautiful girlfriend. I just woke up again and Cap just moved to lay his head on my lap.

"Hey, boy." I say with a small smile and rub his belly since he's on his side.

I pick my phone up and take it off the charger since I've been sleeping most the day on and off. It's currently 4:40 in the afternoon. It's fully charged and I pull up my camera to see what I look like currently. I don't look to bad, my eyes have some small bags but that's okay. I pull on the hood of my hoodie and put on my glasses to see if they help me look any better and they do.

I then head to Instagram, start screen recording, start a live, then patiently wait for people to flood in.

Everyone starts by saying hi. On the right side of my screen, I can see comments from my family and friends when they do comment.

(A/N - I'm making that up lol)

"And I am liiiive from Houston, Texas." I say, then start greeting some of the fans who roll in. "Yes, I'm doing good.... I'll give my health update in a minute. How are you guys?" I say with a smile towards the camera as I read some of the comments that I catch.

"Hey national team fam, Uncle Kyle, Moms, Oakley, my bro who needs to visit me." I say with a laugh and he sends laugh emojis while the rest of my family laughs as well.

"Alright, so I guess I'll give a small update. I got back to the states a few days ago after being told that I was traded, which you all know because it was announced right after I was told and I posted about it. I had been having some problems with my abdomen and I got sick a few times. Before I got on my flight from Orlando yesterday, I was hella sick. As soon as I landed I went to the hospital to get checked out, and turns out I was suffering from appendicitis. I then had surgery yesterday as well to have my appendix removed because it was gradually about to come to the point where it would have been dangerous if I had waited any longer to get it removed. Buuuut, don't worry about me everyone. Don't worry at all because it has definitely been removed, and I feel a lot better already. So thank you for all of your wishes for me to feel better and your hopes that I was okay yesterday." I explain and thank them.

There's a lot of "No problems, you're welcome's," which there's also some people asking how long I'm gonna be out, especially from my family.

"Doc said three weeks at the minimum." I say, and there's a lot of sadness that goes around in the comments. 

Cap raises up and growls, alerting and confusing me.

"What's wrong boy?" I ask and he looks back at me, then back at the bedroom door.

I hear boots hitting the floor, keys jangle, and the front door shut.

"That's just Jade." I say and give a soft laugh at the lazy bulldog who's actually trying to be protective.

I read comments asking about the dog, so I hold the phone down to where they can see Cap.

A BULLDOG!!! OMG SO CUUUUTE!!!!!

That was obviously commented by Rose.

"Yep, his name is Captain, and he's an English Bulldog." I say, and she comments "awww".

I hear footsteps coming towards the bedroom, and I look up as Jade walks into the bedroom with a smile.

"Hey." I say with a smile. "Hi, beautiful. How ya feeling?" She asks. "Good. Wanna say hi to the live?" I say and point to my phone. "Let me change out of uniform real quick." She says and I nod.

There's a lot of people asking about who just called me beautiful, who's Jade, is she the person who I've posted some things about, who my Instagram posts have been aimed towards.

Jade quickly changed out of her uniform, into a pair of joggers and a tee before sitting on the bed next to me up against the headboard.

She kisses my temple before looking at my phone.

"Hi everyone, I'm Jade. Also known to Paige's family and friends as her girlfriend." Jade says with a smile, making me smile as she calls me her girlfriend. The comments go crazy making us laugh and I mainly pay attention to my family's comments.

OH MY GOD SHE'S BEAUTIFUL, NICE EYES MY NIECE. Also Jade, don't hurt my niece or I will hunt you down.

That was Kyle's comment, and half the national team seconded his comment making us both laugh.

"Nice to know, Kyle." Jade says.

We talk to the fans a little bit more before I end the live and my own recording.

I toss my phone down, before looking at my girlfriend.

"Hi." She says with a smile. "Hi... Again." I say and we kiss before having a small laugh. "You're cute with your glasses." She says as she puts a hand on my cheek which I gently lean my head further into. "Am I?" I question and she nods. "You are." She says and connects our lips again.

"Owww..." I say when Cap nudges his head into my incision site is. "Cap, be careful." Jade says and Cap whimpers, before nudging my hand. "I'm okay, I know you don't know that I have a little thing healing right there." I say and rub his head.

"How was work?" I ask softly after I look back up at Jade. "Oh you know, same old same old." She says with a sigh. "Is everything alright?" I ask and she nods. "Not much happened for me a work today." She says. "Oh." I say. "Enough about work. You can't work so I'm not gonna talk about work because it's not fair to you and I know you miss work." She says and pecks my lips. "No, it's fine. I like hearing about your day." I say. "But it's not fair." She says and I pout. "Don't pout, you're too cute." She says and lays quick and soft little kisses all over my face.

I think I'm falling in love with this woman...
