- Paige's POV - May 9th -
So Mal and I kinda slept all day yesterday, haha. Like she had classes that she did but then she went back to sleep, but I slept through all of it. So it's currently 1 AM and we're wide awake. Yes I'm still in Colorado and Corona is the cause of that.
Mal reenters the room after having gone and got us water, and she also has an envelope with her. "I remember Mom telling me this came to you yesterday." She says and hands me an envelope.
Brandon Jayco
It had his address and then my information but Mal's address which is weird. "How'd he get this address and why didn't he just text me or call me? Oh wait he's old school nevermind." I say and laugh. "I gave it to Ash since he asked for it." She whispers since we have to be quiet. I open the envelope to see a letter.
Hey sis, I know that what I'm about to say is gonna worry the hell out of you but don't worry because I will be back before you know it. I'm having to leave for duty overseas and I probably won't be back for a little over a year. You and Danielle are both finding this out now but I need you to keep check on Laura, even though I know you are in Colorado but I know you'll call her and text her. Please keep a check on her, she's pregnant with our child, and I'm not gonna be there to help. I'm sorry for just now telling you, but we were keeping it quiet for a little bit.
I hate that I'm having to leave her, especially during a pandemic bit I have to.
I love you Paigey and see ya soon.
- Brandon
"That's something you don't learn at one in the morning everyday." I say. "What?" Mal asks. "Brandon's being deployed again and his fiancee is pregnant." I tell her. "Awww you're gonna be a blood aunt." Mal says. "Yes that I am." I say with a smile. He will be back I know it so I'm gonna move away from this topic.

- Around Nine AM -
Mal's parents are awake now but we're still in Mal's room. I've talked to Laura and she seems to be doing fine so that's good. I just got off the phone with her and now I'm getting a FaceTime request from Kelley.
"Hi!" She says when it connects. "Hey, what's up?" I ask, confused as to why she's calling me. "Well, you and Mal are the first two besides Al and I's immediate family to know something. We are posting about it later, but want to tell friends and family first." She says and it dons on me what she's talking about. "Wait, is the baby here?!" I ask excitedly and that gets Mal's attention. Kelley nods on the screen. "Oh my god!" I exclaim. "She was born on the Seventh." She says. "Why are we just now finding out?" Mal asks. "At least we're telling you before we tell the whole world Mal." We heard Alex day off screen causing me to laugh. "Okay, would you two like to see your goddaughter?" Kelley asks. "We're her godparents?" I ask in shock. "Mhm." Kelley hums. "Of course we'd like to see her." Mal says. The camera is then flipped and we see Alex holding the two day old little girl. "She's so adorable!" Both Mal and I say while looking at her.
We talked for a little bit since they had to call alot of others as well. My phone rings again and I see it to be Mama requesting FaceTime.
"Hi." I say when it connects and I see the both of them. "Hey!" They say. "What are you all doing?" I ask as I sit down on the bed where Mal is sprawled out while on her phone. "Nothing really, just calling to see how you're doing, especially with today being what it is." Mom says. "What?" I ask in confusion. "Shit how did I forget again?" I say and they laugh. "What'd you forget?" Mal asks. "Ten years ago today, I was adopted by Ash and Ali." I say with a smile. "That it is." Mama says. "Well thank you for adopting her because then I probably would never have gotten to meet her." Mal says as she sits up beside me and kisses me on the cheek. "Aww." Mom and Mama say as I blush.

I can't believe it's been ten years.
We talked about some memories and things before they had to go do some home training for the Pride.
"Well today's been filled with one piece of bad news and the rest with good." I say. "Yep." Mal answers. I'm a little cold so I go to my suitcase to grab a hoodie and I realize that I brought a hoodie that I haven't worn since I was seven. It was Danielle's old Philly Eagles hoodie from like a long time ago. It was oversize back then seeing as it was Danielle's. I put it on and I see that I'm in this house. My old foster home. I lived in a group home after the accident.
I recognize this as an adoption day. But it's also the day I got adopted. I was sitting in the corner by myself just fiddling with this hoodie. I was holding it in my hands thinking about my sister. I look up to see all kinds of adults walking into the home and only one couple looked towards me. Two women. They walk over to me with smiles. I'm not in the seven year old me body. I'm like a ghost. My jaw dropped when I saw that one of them was Ali Krieger. I mentally facepalm myself at seven year old me freaking out at who she was, even though I was barely audible. "Y- you're Ali Krieger, of the US Women's National Team." I was smart when I was seven and I was a very good teaser/speaker. I watch as Ali and Ashlyn softly laugh. "That I am, and this is my girlfriend Ash. What's your name sweetie?" Ali says. I don't even have to watch this vision to know what all we said. "Paige." I answer.
Then the vision changes to where we get to their house and I'm in awe. Then it flashed through memories throughout the years and then my surroundings come back, meaning the vision is over.
"Paige honey, are you ok?" Karen asks. "W- what? Oh yeah. Uhm I have retrocognition so I have these visions. I'm fine though." I say. "Oh, okay. But are you sure you're ok?" "Yeah." I say with a small smile. "Okay." She says and exits Mal's room. I look to see Mal with a slightly scared face. "Babe, what's wrong?" I ask. "You scared me." She says as she slaps my chest. "I didn't mean to! And usually you know what's happening when I randomly stop." I say. "It lasted longer than usual. That's why I got my Mom." She says. "Oh... How long did it last?" I ask. "Five minutes when they're usually only like two or three." She says. "Sorry." I say and wrap my arms around her. "The hoodie triggered the memories of today ten years ago and all the memories of Ash, Ali, and I through the years." I say with a smile at all the memories. Mal spins around in my arms so she's facing me. "That's cool." She says and I nod.
