《I can't seem to let you go (A story I thought was Style but isn't)》Chapter 15

It had been almost a week since Stan had a sleepover with Kyle and Kenny. Wendy found out ,somehow, and wouldn't leave him alone for more than 10 seconds. It was agonizing. He missed Kyle, he missed his smile, his freckles, the way his hair would bounce when he walked, he missed it all. Stan let out a sigh as he shuffled in the chair in front of a forever 21 changing room, waiting for Wendy to try on the umph-teenth outfit. He lazily scrolled through Instagram, looking at his friends posts, pausing when he saw Kyle's latest post.
It was a picture of a couple suitcases with a caption of "See yall next school year ig."
What the fuck did that mean? Where was Kyle going? Quickly he opened his messaging app and texted him.
You- Wyd?
Kyky- Tryna find a decent song to listen to
Kyky- Why?? I thought you were with Wendy
You- Where are you going this summer?
KyKy- Oh I see now
Kyky- I'm going to New Jersey
You- For the whole summer???
Kyky- Ikr :(
You- Are you leaving today
Kyky- Yeah
You- When?
You- Kyle??
You- Kyleeeee??????
Stan huffed, it was obvious he had to take matters into his own hands. "Hey Stan, what do you think about this one?" Wendy asked, finally walking out the changing room. It looked the same as the last 10 dresses but Stan bit his tongue. "It looks nice, Wends" Stan said, looking up from his phone. "I told you to call me babe in public. God, you can't do anything right...No wonder your dad is so disappointed in you for wanting to choose music instead of football..." Wendy huffed, stomping back into the dressing room. Okay, yeah, fuck this girl.
Stan couldn't take it anymore, this treatment has been non-fucking-stop since she found out Stan was hanging out with Kyle. Stan didn't care if his dad was disappointed in him. That fucking alcoholic is a disappointment to everyone. He didn't care if people judged him, he didn't care if being gay was 'wrong'. Stan may be stupid, but he wasn't so stupid as to not know that he loved Kyle. He loved the boy with all his heart, not Wendy and he was sick of pretending like he wasn't just for the sake of this bitch and his father.

"Wendy." Stan said sternly. "Yes, Stanny?" Wendy asked, faking a sweet voice, peeking her head out the dressing room. "First of all, I told you not to call me that. Second of all, I'm sick of you, I can't keep pretending that I love you, we're done. I can't be any more clear." Stan said, standing up from his chair. "What?! No! You can't fucking break up with me!" Wendy yelled, stepping out of the dressing room. "Give me one reason why I can't." "Because-"
"Because if you do you have a higher chance at getting back with Kyle. If you get back together with him, Kyle will be happy, when he's happy he does better in school. They are currently tied to get valedictorian. If you and Kyle get back together, she has a lower chance of getting it."
"Bebe? How'd you know we were here? And what are you talking about?" Stan asked, watching the curly haired blonde walk over. "Wendy never turned off her location, so I knew where she was. Oh, and this is what I'm talking about." Holding up her phone to Stan, Bebe played a video.
"Kyle is destined to fail! He needs to stay fucking hurting until next year so I can get valedictorian!" Stan heard Wendy scream on the phone, his body stiffened as he listened.
"Wait, so you're telling me you did all of this so you can become valedictorian?!" Bebe's voice.
"Yep and the moment I do I'm leaving Stan and going to yale. I'm going to marry someone 100x better than him. Then he and Kyle can be together, but until then, things need to go my way!"
The recording ended and Stan was shaking in anger. "You motherfucking cunt! I knew it! I knew you didn't love me! You're lucky I don't have Bebe post this to the school's instagram! What the actual fuck is wrong with you?! You aren't worth shit bitch! I can't believe I left Kyle for you! I can't believe I was mean to Kyle for you ! I can't believe I let myself actually care about you! I hate you!" Stan screamed, not caring about the onlookers.

"I Hope you know that the only reason I did end up with you is because you said you had some shit on Kyle that could hurt his future. But now that I'm thinking about it you probably don't have shit! I don't know how I was so stupid to believe you! This is Cartman level right here Wendy! I swear I don't care what you' fucking do, I love Kyle and I will do everything to make sure he becomes Valedictorian because he deserves it. You're a lying, selfish, bitch ass cunt Wendy! I don't care if you tell my dad, the fuck is he gonna do? He can't keep a woman or a job and you can't keep a man! Don't fuck with me or Kyle again Wendy." Stan said.
"I don't care! I can still get it without your help! I don't need you Stanley, nobody does!" Wendy said, stuttering through the whole sentence. Stan was at a Kyle level mad, and when Kyle was mad he could get violent. Stan's fist clenched and unclenched, it was obvious he was holding back everything. "Besides, we all know Kyle's ass is the only reason you're going back to him." Okay yeah no, fuck chivalry. Stan's fist collided with Wendy's nose, breaking it once again.
"Leave him the fuck out of this! You said you're gonna date someone 100x better than me? Well I already dated someone 100x better than you, his name is Kyle Broflovski and I love him with all of my heart." Stan said, grabbing Wendy by the shirt. Bebe gave a small cheer, she had been recording everything on her phone, for memories. "Yeah! Now go get your man Stan!" She encouraged, quickly looking behind her, "Quickly before security comes and you end up in mall jail" she added.
Stan let go of Wendy and nodded, "Do what you want with those vids Bebe, thank you." He said quickly before running out the mall. "Looks like you're out of options, Wendy, so sorry." Bebe hummed. Before she could put her phone away it was smacked out of her hand harshly hitting the wall then the floor. Slowly Bebe walked over to it, it was shattered. "Oh, I'm gonna beat your ass for this bitch! This shit was new!" Bebe screamed before tackling Wendy.
Mall security was called in less than 10 minutes.

Stan doesn't know how he avoided any cops on the way to Kyle's house but he's glad. A speeding ticket would've been ensured if he did. He was bubbling with need, just to see Kyle, to tell him how he felt, but when he pulled into the driveway of the Broflovski house, it all shattered. The driveway was empty and Kenny was sitting on the porch head hung low. Slowly Stan got out of the car and ran over to Kenny.
"No, no, no, Kenny, please tell me he didn't leave." Stan said, standing in front of the blonde. "He left Stan, the neighbors said they left about an hour or two ago... Looks like we were both too late." Kenny mumbled, he sounded so defeated. Stan sighed and sat next to the blonde. "That's why he just stopped answering my text then..." Stan sighed. Kenny finally lifted his head up, tearful gray eyes meeting Stan's blue ones.
"Maybe... it'll be okay dude. Maybe Kyle's family will come back early..." Stan said, though he was starting to feel like shit as well. Both of them knew it was unlikely for Sheila Broflovski to change plans. "We can only hope..." Kenny sighed.
Both of them sat on the steps in silence. Recently they've both hated each other. They both loved Kyle, and the other seemed like an obstacle to dating him. But right now, they put their fighting aside to give each other silent comfort, wishing their favorite person in the world would come back.

8 239The Ancient Core: A Progression Fantasy
The title of [The Ancient One] is bestowed upon an unassuming, forgotten Core. Hidden deep underground, it lies in wait, biding its time as it learns the rules of its surroundings. Roaming beasts and unknown threats surely threaten the little rock as it sticks to the darkness, its one true refuge. This is a slow-burning Dungeon-Core fiction with a LitRPG-System. You can expect an extreme amount of kingdom-building, an more in-depth Mana-System, and a Evolution-System. Chapters are between the length of 2-4k words, though the first 50 will likely be closer to 4k. Anything after will have the average be 2.5k. I personally like explaining how things work a lot, so do have that in mind if you decide to read this fiction. "Just tell me you love me, man." He said. I thought about and after what he said, my love for him died. There was no love. He wasn't the same man I fell in love with. He was different. He changed and I didn't love this new guy in front of me. "I can't." I said. He looked at me, tears in his eyes. "Don't do this, man. You love me, baybeh. I know you do."I bit my lip, trying hard not to cry in front of him. "August," I gulped, cursing myself because the tears I said I wouldn't shed, were shedding. "I don't love you anymore. I don't."
