《I can't seem to let you go (A story I thought was Style but isn't)》Chapter 7

Stan couldn't believe it. He felt as if the stars had aligned and granted him the gift of Kyle's lips against his once again. For that 10-15 second kiss everything felt right in the world, Stan had felt whole. But now he was running. Away from the kiss, away from his problems, away from his feelings, away from Kyle. Stan looked around the party and locked eyes with Wendy, immediately walking up and kissing her. Stan listened to her stories, despite how annoying and obnoxious they were, and kept a smile on his face. He had to be a good boyfriend, he has to be something, someone. He wants to be someone for Kyle, not Wendy, but blinded by his own arrogance and fear, he didn't have Kyle. Sitting on the couch, arm around Wendy, he saw red hair and a bright orange parka. He frowned, Kyle was leaving with Kenny. Of course he was leaving with Kenny, Kenny is his boyfriend. But... Was he leaving because of him?
Stan opened his eyes, only to be met with his bedroom ceiling, when did he get home? The norriet stretched face cringing as his skull pounded with pain. Sitting up fully Stan looked at the time.
11 am
Not too bad after partying most of the night in Stan's opinion. What even happened last night? Stan sighed, he felt gross and his mouth tasted like shit. After brushing his teeth and downing a couple of painkillers Stan got in the shower hoping to cleanse his body of the groggily feeling still lingering inside of him. When was the last time he ate? Yesterday during breakfast maybe? God he needed to take better care of himself. Hopping out the shower, he was in no rush to get dressed but he was hungry so he forced himself to, faster than he normally would. After getting dressed Stan checked his phone, a smile came over his face when he saw a message from Kyle.

Kyky-We still on to talk??
Stan- Yeah dude
Kyky- Cool
Kyky- Starks pond at 12 sound good?
Stan- Yeah
Stan- Ima eat something real quick and I'll be there
Stan clicked his phone off, trying to suppress the smile on his face. It felt so good to talk to Kyle again.
As he walked downstairs he froze at the sight of Wendy talking to his father. "I'm so happy that Stan finally came to his senses and got back together with you Wendy. I've never heard of an gay nfl star I'm just saying." Randy said, taking a swig of his grape juice. "I just want the best for Stan. Kyle was holding him back from his true potential. I'm just glad I can finally show him his true potential. Kyle doesn't deserve a guy like him." Wendy said, taking a sip of the tea she made. "I just need to keep them away from each other so then Stan can see how much better I am. He's still so hung up about the break up." She sighed, sitting the cup down. " Stan has always been like that. He gets so stuck up about things, but it's been like... 2 months. But at least he isn't with Kyle." Randy said, pouring himself another glass.
Stan stood and listened to their conversation, teeth grit and fist clenched. It wasn't the first time Wendy and his father talked to each other about him. Before even he and Kyle started dating they would complain about how close they were getting, Stan had confronted them on multiple occasions, he didn't even know why they were talking! They seemed like an unlikely duo to be plotting Stan's future. It was frustrating but Stan pushed back those feelings as he walked into the kitchen fully. "Oh Stan you're awake! I was sure I was going to have to wake you up, and you took your shower good!" Wendy said with her condescending smile. Stan gave the fakest smile he could. "Yeah, well I have something to do today." Stan shrugged and Wendy frowned. "Oh? I wanted to go to the mall today though." She pouted and Stan held back all urges to pinch the bridge of his nose, knowing the action would only make it worse. "Maybe later, but I have things to do Wendy." Stan said sighed.

"But don't you want to spend time with your girlfriend? I brought you home and everything last night." Wendy said standing up. "That has nothing to do with it." Stan said. "It's just because you don't want to be with me. You want to run back to Kyle but you can't because he's with Kenny." Wendy cried and Stan almost agreed with her because she wasn't wrong. He wanted nothing more to be with Kyle again, he was so much happier with him. "That's not true Wendy. I just need to take care of something with Clyde about our next game." Stan lied, knowing that if it was just football it would be fine. "Alright... When do you have to go?" Wendy asked grabbing the norriets hand. "Now, actually." Stan said, taking his hand away from Wendy's. He pressed a quick kiss to her temple before quickly leaving, completely forgetting his snack. The moment he got in his car he called Clyde.
"Hey dude, whats up?" Clyde asked after a few rings.
"What are you doing right now?" Stan asked
"Umm.. Chilin' with Bebe and Tweek. They're are making me go through a skin care routine."
"Oh, cool. Anyways, I know this is going to sound weird but if Wendy asks we're together talking about football stuff."
"But we're not. What are you going to be doing then?"
"Kyle and I are going to talk and try to at least be friends again, but I can't do that when Wendy goes fucking ballistic everytime I look at him."
"Oooh. I got you dude."
"Thanks Clyde. I'll buy you a shake after next practice."
"Oh hell yeah!"
With that the phone call ended.
"Who was that?" Bebe asked, tying her hair back. Tweek looked up from his seat, curiosity in his eyes. "Oh it was just Stan, he needs me to lie to Wendy and say we're talking about football stuff." Clyde shrugged, poking at the face mask on his face. "One, stop that. Two, why would Stan need you to lie to Wendy?" Bebe frowned swatting Clyde's hand away from his face. "Because he and Kyle are going to talk and try to become friends again." Clyde said. "They need to talk it out, even if they don't get back together they were such good friends." Tweek said and Bebe nodded. "Yeah, Wendy has been acting weird lately. I won't tell Wendy either. I love her but they need this."

A Sky of Star and Strength
Jake was just an intelligent kid living a pretty regular life in Mill Creek, Washington. Then the apocalypse happens. Now with his Dad out of the country and totally in yet out his element, this is his story. My take on a system apocalypse based around "life force" as a currency. The main character will have a special power (as will most of the other characters) and be rather OP, you have been warned. Like many of the authors on this site I have no formal writing experience so writing tips and grammar corrections are much appreciated :)

"Elves of the Northern Vale" A Tundrawolf Story
As happened many times in the past the Fell Ice once again charged down from the north and attacked the world in its effort to turn it into a frozen ball of ice. Only the White Magic and it's ally the Sun could stand against such a vast enemy. From their home in the Valley of the Sun the great tribe of Elves could only watch as the monumental fight unfolded. As the battle intensified and the valley became threatened the tribe separated back into their four original tribes and each made their way back to their ancestral homes. Within their Vales, behind thick stone walls and under powerful domes of magic, they were protected from the onslaught upon the earth. The Elves watched for thousands upon thousands of turns as the war raged overhead. The Fell Ice against the Sun and the White Magic were locked in a struggle lasting for an age, with neither side claiming victory as the earth was ravaged. In time the Fell Ice retreated, as it had so many times in the past. Beaten, yet not defeated, only biding it's time for the next attack. It returned to its frozen Kingdom at the Top of the World, thus ending this last Age of Ice. This time, as the earth warmed around them, the Elves remained secluded from the world in their hidden Vales. They observed from afar life returning to the lands and took stock of man becoming the dominant ones as their numbers grew and spread. As the Elves watched they felt safe and secure in their Vale strongholds. They had no idea of the danger that was about to befall them. This is a stand-alone sequel to my story "Druids Bane".
