Y/n's POV

Everyone is gathered around a few tables on the tea shop pushed together, all playing a board game.

"By my calculations, you are going to lose," Zane taunts as he makes a move.

"Did Pixal tell you that?" I ask sassily. "Because if she did, she is mistaken."

"Who is this 'Pixal'?" Zane replies. "Am I not up to date on urban slang?"

I blink. "What do you mean, who's Pixal?"

Nobody says anything.

"You know, your girlfriend?" I try again.

"Zane has a girlfriend?" Kai asks in disbelief.

"A girl... friend?" Zane thinks out loud. "Like Nya?"

I face palm. I sigh, then try to explain one last time. "Pixal!" I exclaim. "The girl robot inside your head!"

"I have never heard of what you speak of."

I don't know what to say to that. Its almost as if we skipped two whole seasons.

"What's happened since I left?" I say, not asking anyone in particular.

"Nothing much," Jay replies simply. "Unless you count Sensei starting up a small business."

"So... Nothing has threatened the peace of Ninjago?"

"Nope," Cole says with a shrug.

"I sense that you are confused, sister. Why?" Zane asks, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"Things are happening out of order," I say, but not loud enough to be understood by anyone other than Zane.

"Should we be worried?" He replies, matching my voice level.

I shake my head. "No. It's okay, I just wasn't expecting it," I say, deciding not to tell him that the overlord still has yet to return.

She thinks she's gotten rid of me.

But she hasn't.

That girl who's friends with the green ninja better watch out, because she only saw what I wanted her to see. And I wanted her to think I'm gone.

But I'm not.

And that damn green ninja better be on guard, because I'm coming for him. He thinks he's better than me. Stronger than me. More powerful than me.

But he's not.

Soon, I will have what I need to turn Ninjago into the new cursed realm, and make everyone here pay for doubting me. I will be all powerful, and no one will be able to stop me.

I know Sensei Wu is still out there, likely training a bunch of other Ninja to replace me, but I'm not worried. He might think he can save me, think he can change me back...

But he can't.
