"Are you just going to stare at me while I get dressed?" I asked my mate who was leaning against the closet door.

He shrugged a shoulder and shook his head. "You're mine.I have a right to stare at you"

A smile automaticaly made its way on my face at those words.I'm his and he's mine. "Still,it's creepy.Your are a creep"

He smirk and open his arms when I was done dressing.

"I'm your creep"

I laughed and accepted his hug.

"Sadly,yes"

It was was silent as we basked the feeling of bieng in each others arms.Ambrosius burried his head in my neck further and took a long drag of my scent.Then his teeth clamped on my shoulder,at the place where his mark would be.He let them stay there until it started to get uncomfortable.

"Ambrosius?" His teeth tighten even further and I knew my skin would probaly be red.

"Ambrosius stop" I said quietly.

He gently released my skin,then blew on it causing a streak of plessure to shot straight to my groin.When his head emerged from my neck I swallowed a gaps at the emotions swirling in his eyes.

They kept switching from fear to worry,loss then fear.My heart tugged painfully.I wanted to comfort my mate,so I cupped the back of his neck with my hand and smashed my lips to his.He groaned in approval and kissed me harder.He cupped my ass and hike me up,making me wrap my arms around his waist.The kiss got more heated so I stopped.I pulled back and Ambrosius burried his face in my neck,taking small inhails of my scent.

"I was so scared.I thought I was loosing you,Amatus.You looked so broken and covered in so much blood.I never want to see you like that again" Ambrosius said in my shoulder,even though it was muffled I still heard him and the pain in his voice.

I tighten my arms around him and unwrapp my legs."I'm sorry for scaring you,I wanted to drown the voice in my head and slashing myself was the only way" I told him queitly.

"Oh baby" He said and smashed me into his chest in a comforting hug.

"It's fine.I'm used to it.I didn't mean to freak you out" I said when he pulled back lightly.

He inhailed a sharp breath.He looked like he was in pain.

"You shouldn't be used to hurting yourself and you didn't freak me out.I was just scared that I was going to loose you"

"You won't loose me,Ambrosius" I said sofly.

He didn't say anything,just kissed my lips lightly and took my hand.

"Let's go have dinner with your family" He said scowling and I laughed.

"They are your family too" I said.

"Sadly yes" He said,groaning.

I chuckled and his face soften and he had that look in his face that always makes me weak in my knees.He taped my nose with his finger making me glare at him.He smirked at my glare.

The dinner table was already filled with everyone when we arrived.Ambrosius took the head seat like always and before I could run he pulled me on the chair next to him.Salvadore and Amara squeiled and cheered like lunatics.

"Finally,he takes his throne" Salvadore says with a smirk.

I roll my eyes just as the maids started dishing dinner."Technically i'm-"

"Technically you our new king" Amara cuts me off making me scolw at her.She squeil and reaches across Ambrosius to pitch my cheeks.

I slap her hands aways and she shreiks dramatically. "Since when were you so violent?"

She then narrowed her eyes at Ambrosius,the gaps dramatically

"What did you do to him,you teddybear killer?....Yeah I know,Lucio.Do you know how painfull it was to find poppy with her head off,"

Angela laughed nervously "I-I was the one who k-k-killed poppy"

Amara gasped,pointed a finger at Angela,the pretended to faint.Angela's eyes widen then she crambled to stand up and go to a fainted Amara.Aloisia quickly wrapped her arms around her waist and brought her back on her chair.

"Hey.Amara is messing with you,cupcake" Aloisia said sofly to her mate all the while Salvadore was crackling like a madman.

"Wake up,shut up and eat dinner,Amara" Ambrosius said.

Amara scowled but did as she was told.We ate dinner with Amara and Salvadore teasing Angela.When we were done Ambrosius leaned in to tell me to meet him in his office.I didn't want to leave everyone,especialy when they kept being their crazy selves.

When I stood up to go to Ambrosius's office Amara stopped me.She attacked me with one of her hugs.

"Don't ever,scare me like that.I couldn't loose two people at the same time" She said when she pulled back and wiped her eyes.

Then Angela hugged me but I had to bend down for her to reach my neck.I spun her a little making her giggle.

"I'm happy y-you okay n-now" She said queitly in my neck.

Just as I put Angela down Salvadore crushed me in his cheat in a tight grip."Your breaking my ribs,Sal"

He chuckled and let me go "I'm just glad you better.We were all so worried"

"I'm sorry for making you guys worried but i'm fine now" I said,then I turned to Aloisia with a playfull smirk.

"Don't I get a hug from my bestfriend?" I asked and she glared at me.

"I knew you were'nt going to die and leave me alone with your bunny,So I wasn't worried" She said making that said bunny giggle.

"Never" I said to Angela and winked making her blush.

Everyone laughed while Amara cooed at her.I felt my heart melt looking at my family.People who care for me.People who love me.I let a smile dance on my lips as I excused myself to go to my mate's office.I nocked lightly on the door before opening the door.Ambrosius sat in his chair,typing furiously on the laptop.I moved to seat across from him.It was silent as Ambrosius typed for a few minutes before looking up at me.

"Come here" He said,patting his lap.I raise a brow and shook my head before grabbing the chair I was sitting in and placed it next to him.

I ignored his stare and pointed to the laptop asking "What did you wanted to show me?"

He opened his email and open one of them that he was about to send. "Read"

I roll my eyes but read it.The email was an invitation to the other same rank mates.He was asking them to come and support us on the day of the ball.

"When did you write it?" I asked when I was done reading.

"Right now excually,when you were still in the kitchen.I only asked seven of them,I think they would be enough" He said.

"It's good" I commented on the invitation.

Ambrosius press send on the screen "Yeah.I just hope they come.We'll need them against the stupid council"

"They have been oddly queit.I thought they would be doing everything in their power to break our bond" I said.

The council has done anything to us.I thought they would bursting on the door every chamce they got to beg us to separate before the bond strethgthen.

"No" Ambrosius said,then stood up to pour himself something to drink.

"No?" I asked frowning couriusly.

"They have been sending letters and emails" Ambrosius said his back to me.

"What?I never recieved any of those" I said and raised up from the chair to stand infront of him.

He calmly took a sip of the burning drink. "They were just empty threats about ways they could break our bond if we didn't reject each other,baby"

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't want you to worry and I made sure the the council never sent you anything" He said like he just didn't keep anything from me.

"You lied to me,Ambrosius" I said,swallowing a growl.

"No I didn't.I just didn't tell you that the council has been bugging me" He said,then down the whole drink before placing the glass calmly.

"That's lying"

"I was trying to protect you,luna meum" He said softly and this time I did growl.

I don't know why I was making such a big deal about this but it stung knowing that Ambrosius has been keeping this from me.

This is our bond,I have a right to know if someone is threatning it.

"I'm not a child.I don't need protection" I snarled.

He clenched his jaw,his hands balled into fist by his side.

"Don't ever snarl at me,baby"

I scoffed and snarled,making his nosestrills flare.

"Bite me"
