Waking up to an empty bed was unfarmilia ever since Amatus moved here.I followed his scent to the kitchen and was schocked but in awe at what I found.My mate was cooking breakfast.The kitchen was empty except for Amatus who was cooking.He looked so adorable,stirring something in the pot,his brows drawn together with his tongue poking out.The usual table had been set for two people only.

"What's all this?" I asked,leaning against the wall.

He was starlted a little but still gave me a smile.

"Take a seat,Ambrosius.I'm making you breakfast" He told me,gesturing with his hand for me to seat down.

I raised a brow but sat down.He then placed two steaming hot bolws next to the plates.He sat down next to me,then started dishing.He made a lot of food.He made pancakes,eggs,bacon and bagels.

"I didn't know you could cook" I said taking a bite of the bagel.Heaven.

"I can't cook,Sia taught me how to make breakfast only." He said.

"I wanted to do something nice for you.I know it's nothing compared to the things you used to but I hope you like it" He told me,his cheeks turning a lovely shade of pink.Cute.

I took his hand and kissed the back of it sofly. "Thank you,Amatus.I love it.This is the best thing someone has ever done to me."

He nodded and we ate breakfast in comfortable silence until it was ruined by Salvadore's heavey footsteps descending the stairs.Amara was chasing him,a shoe in her hand.

"Get back here!" She shouted,throwing the shoe at him but missed.

He laughed like the maniac he is while Amara glared at him.I continued to eat breakfast and ignored them.I sigh when Amara

gasped loudly,pointing an accusing finger at my mate.

"You guys are having a romantic breakfast without me" then she turn to Salvadore "They having a romantic breakfast without us"

He frowned and said."I think they having a romantic breakfast without us"

I grolw "It a romantic breakfast,you saying so yourself"

"Did he say something?" Amara asked Salvadore who shook his head and said "I didn't hear anything"

I ground my teeth together until Amatus placed his hand on my arm.

"It's okay,I made plenty.I'm sure it's enough for all of us." He said making me sigh.I just wanted to have breakfast with my mate,is that too much to ask.

They didn't waste a minute before joining us.

"Remember we have a meeting today,Lucio" Salvadore said.

I nodded "I remember and Amatus will aslo be joining us"

Amatus looked at me and asked

"I will?"

"You don't want to?" I asked sofly.I don't want to pressure him into doing anything he doesn't want.

"I want to,you just caught me off gaurd but I want to" He said.

After breakfast we went to our room and took turns taking a shower.I tyred to tell Amatus that we should save whales and save water but he refused.We then went to my office to have said meeting.

Salvadore and Talling were already there.Tallin had Salvadore in a headlock and he was trying to get out of it but failing miserably.

"T-Tank Gawd.Amatus help" He wheezed.

"Let him go,Tallin" I said making Talling smirk.He squeezed him a little making Salvadore choke,then let him go.We all took seats,Amatus seating next to me and the two seating across from us.

"Okay,let's get started." I said.

"We didn't find anything rather than that footage on the suviliance." Tallin started,then open a small file and passed it to me.

"Those are some of the same rank mates couples I found.I thought they would be enough but I can still look for more it they are not" He said.

I opened the file and found several couples,their cellphone numbers next to their names.

"Thank you,I'll call them and talk to them.And I think they'll be enough" I said.

He nodded.Then it was Salvadore's turn.

"They still didn't find anything at the lab.The houses are finished and Amatus's pack can move in anytime" He said.

Amatus face light up like a christmas tree.He smiled so widely that I couldn't help but let my own lips curve into a smile.

"Realy?" He asked Salvadore.

Salvadore nodded with a smile

"Yeah,they got finished yesterday."

"Thank you so much,Sal.I'll talk to Sia and tell to move the pack" He said.

"Everything for the ball has been set.And don't worry,Lucio.The ball will the on the 18th of april.Three months from now.I nkow how much you want your vampire to be present."

"That's good,Salvadore.Thank you.......And I think we done" I said.

Amatus was the first to stand up

"I'm going to call Sia and tell her to bring the pack"

The the door shut closed.I stood up and put a barrier around door.Tallin and Salvadore looked at me with confusion.

"Relax,I'm not going to murder you and bury your bodies under my desk,even though that sounds like a tempting idea" I said with a dark smirk making Slavadore swallow and Tallin smirk back.

I opend the last drower and took out a thick,old file.I took a seat infront of the confused pair.I placed the file infront of them with a loud thud.

"Read" I said to them.They shared a glance before Tallin started flipping through the file.Their eyes widen as they took the information written on the file.

"I thought you killed them all" Tallin said,a frown on his face.

"I did" I said.I waited for them to finish reading the file.

"I did,I made sure that none of them remained.I think someone is trying to start the ogarnasation again.I don't know who but I know they are behind the killings." I said.

They were silent,taking the information in.Salvadore cleared his throat while shifting lightly.

"Okay,I hear you,Lucio.What do you suggest we do?" He asked.

"First,I need this to remain between us and inside these walls. I said and waited for them to nod.

"Tallin will take a few trackers and warriors and go on a little trip.You guys must find out their hiding place and set camp outside.While you there,you'll keep reporting to us what happaning.We need to know everything they are doing,Everything" I said.

It was silence again.I had my suspisions when I heard about the killings and all.I wanted to be sure before I tell my beta and gamma.It all pointed to them.The way they killed,the way they made sure to leave no clue,it all pointed to them.I spent so much time with them that I know everything about them.

"Think you can do that?" I asked a deep in thought Talling.He snaped out of his thoughts quickly.

"You know I can do it.And this time I hope we finish all of them" He said.

I nodded agreeing with him.

"I hear what you guys are saying and it sounds realy good but don't you think we should include Amatus and Sia,especially Amatus" Salvadore voiced his concerns.

I rubbed my temples and released a sigh.I hate,I realy hate lying to my own mate.I want Amatus to rule by my side,with me but I can't tell him this yet.I don't want him involved with this mess.I know they know about him and it won't be too long before they try something.I'm protecting him.

"I can't involve him in this,Salvadore" I said with another sigh.

He frowned "He's your mate,Lucio.Don't you want him to rule with you."

"Ofcourse,I do" I said.

"Well,you don't act like it because right now your shutting him out.He'll found out eventually,Lucio"

I growl and stood up. "Amatus is my mate.I know what i'm doing"

He chuckled humorlessy "Do you?This is going to hurt him and you know it.You just too scared to tell him"

I grag his neck and I was about to slam him on the table but Tallin pulled him back.I stared at my bestfriend who spoke nothing but the truth before storming out of the office.
