My fingers tapping away on the laptop infront of me was the only sound in my office.I was on the edge,a ticking time bomb as Salvadore said earlier.Yesterday when I lightly felt Amatus's distress emotions I panicked.Many scenarios ran through my mind,it got worse when he didn't pick up his phone and got even worse when his beta told me she didn't know where he was.I tyred calming down but my beasts were driving me insane.They wanted their mate infront of their eyes.They wanted to make sure he was fine.It took all my willpower not to leasten to Alyosius and sent Luis to pick up Amatus and bring him here.Instead I leasten to Alphaeus and let him be with his pack since they need him.

I slam the laptop shut when I was done with the last paperwork.I crack my neck and nuckles.I went to stand up and piss but was inturrupted by a timid nock on my door.

"Come in" It came out as a growl since I told everyone that I wanted to be left alone.

The door opened and in came one of the gate gaurds and bowed "My apologiez,your highness.You have a visitor."

I frowned because I didn't have any visitors today. "Tell them to make an appointment,i'm buys."

The door opened wider and in walked Robert,the head of the councel.I tensed up even more,my beast gnawing to come out.

He bowed"My king,I'm sorry to come univited but we have a problem"

"Sit down,Robert"

He sat down opposite me and I turn to the gaurd and dismissed him.

"How may I help you with today,Robert?"It cane out as a snarl making him flinch lightly but he hid it with a forced smile.

"First,I would like to congratulate you on finding your mate,my king"He said.I almost roll my eyes.

"Thank you"I said dryly.

He swallowed"ofcouse...Finding a mate is a bueatiful thing,my king.And I know how much a mate means to someone but we also know that other matings are forbidden from happening."

I looked at him blankly and he took that as a sign to continue with his bullshit.

"So as the council,we have to procted our world.Since you are an Alpha,my king and your mate is also an Alpha we thought that...and since you,my king know the rules you must know that-"

I slam my palms on the making him jump and almost fall out of the chair."Say what you came here to say,Robert"

He flinched"Y-your mating is against the rules"

I laughed laughed dryly and cracked my nuckles"So you want to tell me to reject my mate,Is that what you are saying,Robert?"

"N-no,master Lucio"

I growled"Then what are you saying?"

I knew exactly what he was saying.I knew when I found Amatus that our mating was going to freak the council and some people out.The council still bealived that a mating between two powerful beings could be dangerous to the society since they would grow stronger together and produce powerful offsprings.I already knew that the council knew about us,I was just waiting for them to come to me.

"The mating,is dangerous"

I could see sweat forming on his forehead when I stood up and let my fangs show.I ran my tongue around them while smirking at him.He swallowed and his forehead glistean even more.

"Since I leasten to you,Robert.I think it's fair you lestean to me too,yes?"

He bowed"My king"

"Alpha Roscio is my mate.Our bond is not dangerous and not forbbiden.I'll not reject him just because you scared of more power.I will not hasitate to kill anyone or anything that will try to mess with our bond."

"B-but-"

"Robert,I've searched for my mate for a long time and I won't let some old people who think they know anything because they call themselves the council take him away."

He shifted in his seat and took out an napkin to wipe his forehead."I didn't mean to offend you,my king I was just-"

I cracked my neck"you didn't offend me just made me angry,realy angry...Now,Robert i'm going to tell you this again..My bond is not forbidden or dangerous.I will not reject it and if anyone or anything tries to mess with it I will kill them.Now get out of my office"

He srambled to stand up"My king."

I realed a fustrated growl when he was out.I knew this was going to happan.

"Luis"

He came after a few minutes in my office."I need you to fetch Amatus"

"Your highness"He shut the door sofly behind him.

I quickly sent a text to Amatus

He didn't replyed after that.I need him here,infront of my eyes.And since the council decided to act up on our mating I realy need to keep him ifront of my eyes.

I went to my room and went to the balcony and took a sit on one fo the couches there.

"Ocean,Earth!"

They appeared immideatly.Earth had a towel wrapped around her hair and body,she was glaring at me.Ocean was dressed in her usuall attire.

"What's so important that you had to call me while I was taking a shower"

I scowled at her "The council"

They tensed up and shared knowing glances.It looked like they were comunicating with the way Earth flapped her arms around and rolled her eyes while ocean remained stoic.I waited for them to be done.

"I say you have a royal ball,introduce Amatus to your people and tell them about the coucil.Now i'm going to finish my shower don't call me"

Then she was gone,green dust the only evidence that she was here.I sigh and turn to Ocean who smiled warmly.

"What my sister means is,Make a rolay ball and introduce Amatus to your people.Tryed to show them that your bond is not dangerous and tell them about the council.That way you'll have their support against the council.Find other mates who are both the same ranking and bring them to the ball as an example."

I liked the idea,it sounds amazing maybe it could make the council back off.I nodded and smiled gratefully at her.

"Don't forget to invite the council" She said then was gone and left behind blue dust.

I rubbed my temples when I remembered that I have a meeting with all the Alphas tomorrow.My phone rang,it was Luis.

"Alpha,master Amatus is refusing to get inside the car,he says that he'll see you tomorrow in the meeting."

"Give him the phone"

"He doen't want to talk to you"

I growl."Kidnap him"

"Yes,My king."

I hung up and and sigh.Amatus has to understand I need him.I can't wait untill tomorrow or i'll do something worse that kidnapp him.I waited for Luis call.After four hours he mindlinked me
