《The Tracking ✔》Epilogue- Forever

"The Crescent Hill Pack in Wyoming is experiencing what they believe to be a vampire problem. Fifty of their pack members, including children have disappeared." Beatrice pauses and looks and JC and I. Many council members sit around the marble round table, listening to the problem.
"I want you both to go to this pack and investigate. The vampires could be taking them for their intoxicating blood, or for ulterior motives. It's your job to find out, report back to us, or take action if needed during that time. It shouldn't be this easy to take adult or children werewolves from their pack homes."
I nod and as does JC as they dismiss us from the meeting room. JC and I leave first to go back to our rooms, exiting the huge white room. The council have treated us amazing. Our jobs are to sometimes go investigate odd problems, which we honestly love to do since arriving. We've went on two other cases so far. It took about a week to solve the first pack's problem with the young members having difficulty transforming for the first time, which turned out to be a herb the teenager were giving them. The second one it took less than two days.
It's hard to adjust to knowing that I'm not the Alpha of my pack anymore, but I'm happy. I can't complain given the circumstances and this is exactly where we are supposed to be. JC places her hand in mine and we entangle our fingers as we walk down the hallways of the castle like headquarters.
I use the key to get in our massive penthouse-like room. The eggshell walls and black leather furniture appeals to both of our tastes. We got to pick out the style after all.
JC keeps her eyes on me biting her bottom lip seductively, I can smell her arousal which also gets me excited. We enter our room and I take off my suit jacket, then loosen my black tie.
"This case will be interesting." I comment as JC takes off her nude high-heels. Here at the council, we dress business casual for everything except training. I don't particularly like that about being here, but I won't complain seeing JC in a cute black dress that's easily accessible.
JC has been getting incredible training with some good witches. She's learned to lift heaver objects with her telekinesis, she's able to throw fire from her fingertips, and do some spells. It's amazing how far she has came in three weeks.
JC comes behind me, looping her arms around to my stomach. Her breath fans my ear, giving me goosebumps and surprisingly make me harder than I already am.

"So, I spoke with Beatrice privately this morning." I turn around to face her and look at her with curiosity. Why and what did she talk to Beatrice about privately?
"She said that if we wanted to have children that we could. They will be different from everyone, but their blood will not turn anyone else immortal. Only mine will, and since you are a Spellbound Lycan it cancels that out. They will be immortal, but not be able to pass that or super strength down." JC sits down in a chair as she speaks with a big smile on her face.
Deep down, she and I both wanted a family, but we accepted that we shouldn't bring a little one into this world because we would be fighting off rogues our whole lives. We were always going to look into JC's genes and her family history. We just thought we would never be able to have children because if we did they would be like us and constantly hunted down.
JC wraps her arms around my waist while sitting down and I peer down at her.
"What do you think?" She asks nervously. I chuckle under my breath and put my hand on the side of her cheek, she leans into my touch- looking up at me through her long black lashes.
"I think that's awesome. I want to know more about it personally and I'm not quite ready for a child yet anyway." I hoped I didn't hurt her feeling, but instead I'm greeted by an accepting response.
"Me either, but we have that option now. Whether we do or not, I am happy. I thought I would have to run my whole life, but you tracked me down. Now we have this life. Granted, we still could run into trouble, we are better off here than anywhere else. I'm just saying we could have a life that we want. A life that we dreamed for, but didn't think was possible. A life-" I interrupt her with a kiss. She smiles, kissing me back with need and intensity.
"You weren't going to let me finish?" She asks pulling away in a small pout.
"How about you tell me about what you're thinking in pillow talk? Because I've been ready to lay you down in that king size bed since we walked in this room." I kiss her ear, causing her to giggle like she usually does when I do it.
"Yeah, we haven't had a lot of that time since we got here. I've been craving that touch more so lately..." She trails off, her mouth just a inch from mine, teasing me.

I look into her multicolored eyes and take the chance of pulling her bottom lip between my teeth, which I know drives her crazy.
She growls slightly under her breath and then captures her lips with mine. We fight for dominance, my arms snake around her waist and one goes down to her butt squeezing it. She eagerly jumps into my arms and her legs go around my waist. I walk to the bed, keeping my attention on her the whole way.
___________
"Dinner when you get back?" Jared asks as JC and I put our packed bags by the front door of the garage door. He and Drake came with us. The Council told us we could bring whoever we want as long as they wouldn't mind working for the council in some way.
Jared told us that he's always had a dream about becoming a chef. He never had the food or ingredients to really make what he wanted to when he was a rogue, so the dream slipped away for a while. So, one of the chefs here is teaching him what she knows. He's excited to cook JC and I a meal one night.
JC told me about how he can see the future, but the council doesn't know about it yet. We left that up to Jared to decide when. They will want to use him and his gift, but with him being just shy of turning fifteen he's not sure he wants that burden just yet.
Abilities come with big responsibilities and some people could try to use them negatively. He did say that if he had a vision that we should know about he will tell us if he feels necessary.
"Of course! We will see you when we get back from Wyoming." JC replies hugging him, I agree with her and we pick up our bags. She and Jared have become closer with each day that has passed. They view each other as siblings and have inside jokes, that I'm not allowed to know about. I don't mind. Jamie and her parents transferred over to our home pack after everything went down because they learned what Luna Bethany did. Her parents, Jamie and my mother vowed to visit the headquarters in Chicago once a month, so JC hopes to rebuild her relationship with her parents and brother.
Drake enters the room with his hair in a mess and dirty clothes. JC gasps slightly and then sighs, "Oh boy you better get cleaned up before Howard or Neal see you wondering these clean halls." Those two men are strict on the appearance of this place, mud on the floor would sure set them off.
Drake rolls his eyes and then asked Jared for a water. Jared leaves to retrieve one and then comes back with one.
"Man they are clean freaks here. Nothing like a normal pack house." I say, tossing my duffel bag over my shoulder. JC's trying not to laugh from Drake's dumbfounded expression.
"They worked me the hardest I ever have. The warrior training here is no joke, I deserved to come in here and get some water." Drake isn't annoyed as he says this. I know he enjoys helping and training. Despite his rogue history and the history with my father, the council accepts him.
He drowns back the bottle of water and puts it in the trash. "Are you about to go on another case?" He asks us.
"Wyoming, kidnapping by vampires." I answer him.
His eyes widen and he leans against a table. "Thank God I'm not linked to that."
JC and I laugh at the irony. Drake went through a lot just because the rogues made it sound like he was lying about the vampires. They really just wanted the vamps to take him out so they could get to JC easier.
"We better get going. We shouldn't be long, JC is a real Nancy Drew." I complement. JC blushes and shakes her head.
We all say our goodbyes, then JC and I get into a SUV drove by another council warrior who will be watching over us and helping as well.
A new journey and a new home all in one.
Who knows what's else is in store for us for the next several centuries.
_______
The Tracking is officially over! I have absolutely loved writing this story and I hope you all enjoyed reading it! So now, JC and Theo have little mysteries they solve and who knows...maybe in fifty years they will be running the council themselves!
Drake and Jared are doing what they dreamed off and may find their own mates one day soon or in the future.
I've thought about writing a spin off of Jared and Drake. Would you all like to see that?
Please leave me a review of what you thought of it all together so I can put my favorite ones on the Review page I will be making in the beginning of the book! :)
You all have been so great and so patient through this process. I am so grateful and excited to begin another book soon. Give me a follow to keep up with my other works!
Much love and thank you ❤❤❤
Makayla.

8 158The Magic God Wants A Disciple
Roan Erymneus. The Magic God. Ranked first on the Heaven’s Listing. Hero of humanity and the world’s most powerful magician. Demons would weep at the sound of his name while humans would bend the knee in reverence. Roan had everything in life. Fame, money and power. But one day, the Magic God said the unthinkable. “I quit!” “You’re drunk again. Talk to me when you’re sober.” “I really mean it this time! I’ve had enough of killing Demons! I’m going to quit and leave the Alliance!” “Oh really? And what are you going to do?” “... Disciple.” “W-What?” “I’m going to find a disciple and lead the life of a lazy master!” ✵✵✵ Hi All! This is Linodo, the Author. I'm writing this novel as a more light-hearted and 'fun' story compared to my other works. I had a writer's block for my other story and decided to put it on hold while I have some fun with this one.I don't have a release schedule as of yet, but I will try to post as much as I can. It's meant to be a more 'fun' story, so I won't stress too much on making everything too detailed or anything. However, I will continue to ensure that there is a certain quality to this work.I hope you will enjoy "The Magic God Wants A Disciple!"

The story follows a boy who hates his name. After the suicide of a close friend and peer role model, he's on the brink of the same fate. But he doesn't follow her. Not even as his resolve to keep going is tested time and time again once he's sent into the worlds of magic and monsters he once longed for. (I do not claim ownership of the cover art. 8 181Cheating Side Kick
Noel was a normal ordinary modern-day man who died in a car crash. After his death, he got an offer which you could not say no: Get reincarnated with extra cheat-like ability tailored to his soul into a fantasy world. How big a surprise was, that his ability is to “dupe”? And even bigger surprise, he was not born into the MC, but into his fat and useless cousin? This story is about a journey in xantia-like world where also a kind-of system exists. Partly dramatic with some xantia troupe comedy. Its also about character development….and of course, there will be power level jumps. Let's follow Noel into his very honest try to climb at the top of the food chain, battle calamities, and conquer impossible dungeons. P.S: English is not my first language, I will be happy if you point out my mistakes, thank you. EDIT: Curently HItaus on Mount Forever. :/ . I m sorry.
8 95Wolf's Oath Book 1: Oath Sworn
In Aralt ‘Wolf” syr Tremayne’s world, skyships sail above tidal extremes, crystal swords are Tuned, and the soul-touched inspire both awe and fear. The latter doesn’t phase him, he carries a Tuned blade, and as for the ships…Aralt prefers to keep his feet on solid ground. Having finally laid to rest the ghosts of his past, he is unprepared when the grave gives one of them back. To his shame, it isn’t the one he wants. Lian Kynsei’s arrival upends Aralt’s life, but there is nothing he can do about it. Oath-bound to Lian, the last of a priestly clan, he is now defender of the scion of a faith he no longer shares. But the boy Aralt once knew is gone. In his place is a reckless, traumatized teen who can light the sky on fire. The more they get reacquainted, the less Aralt likes him—and the feeling is mutual. As revenge against a common enemy boils in his blood, Aralt struggles to do his oath-sworn duty and secure sanctuary for the heir-apparent to a mystical dynasty. But instead of safety, every step brings them closer to danger: sky pirates, cannibals, and a relentless soulless scourge unleashed by their enemy are all intent on killing Lian—or worse. Death, Aralt realizes, might be the greater mercy. ---------------------------------------------------------- What to Expect: Character-driven Plot Novel Pacing (which I accept isn't typical for serials) Elaborate Worldbuilding (you gotta pay attention) Soul-bonded Swords Sentient Wolves Longish Chapters What Not to Expect: Litrpg (sorry!) Harem (not sorry!) Magic System Short Chapters Dancing Bears (at least so far) Seriously, this is a second-world low fantasy/science-fantasy featuring a strong, but flawed male protagonist, a cheeky teenage boy that’s driving him crazy, a wee bit o’ Scots flavor, and a whole lot of culture clashing. I’m preparing to relaunch this story on Kindle once the second and third books are ready and I’d love some feedback as I move through those revisions. I'm serious about the feedback. All comments are welcome. I'll name a characters after you. And kill them, if you want. :) Oh, did I mention soulless assassins and cannibals? Yeah, Aralt’s day is not getting any better. cover image by brosedesignz
