《The Tracking ✔》Chapter 51- Destruction

Hey guys! Check out ! She interviewed me and I answered some questions about my writing that you may have questions about yourself! It's under the book "The Fame" just find me under the Chapter "Makayla D." 😊 Anyways, let's get back to the book!
Seeing my mate bound to a torturous chair just a few feet away from me sparked a rage in my that I haven't yet experienced before.
I can't place exactly why it suddenly triggered because Theo is immortal like myself. Though we have yet to see precisely how being a Spellbound Lycan affects his strength, I still grew anxious as I saw the wolfs bane burn through his skin.
"Go to the pack house and start killing women and children until JC gives me what I want. There's a bunker around there somewhere." Morgan orders the group of rogues that stand close by, waiting for command. They nod, some ever where smirks on their faces as they look at Theo and I as if they are happy to go kill families.
"Are you crazy? Killing the pack or my mate has nothing to do with my witch!" I yell at Morgan as I watch the rogues begin walking out of the warehouse.
Morgan ignored my out cry and turns to Theo. Even though Theo and I can't mind-link each other because of the wolfs bane burning his wrists, I can still tell what he is thinking.
We have to end this now. No time to waste.
Morgan aggressively walks up to Theo and throws a thunderous punch to his face, knocking his head back slightly.
I gasp at the suddenness of it and struggle under my restraints. Whatever they have my hands bound with is keeping my magic away. I've never radiated it through another part of my body, but these hands are useless unless I can get free.
The witches in the cages stir around and start talking among each other as they watch the scene play out that may determine their fate.
Though Morgan's punch was indeed powerful, Theo never let out a sign of pain as he straightened his neck and looked at Morgan with the coldest glare I have ever seen him have.
Morgan looks back at me for my reaction to his desperate attempt to hurt Theo. I hold a straight face as I keep the magic through the rest of my body, keeping my armor up.
I have to keep it up no matter what. A rogue one stands beside me, watching my every move with a scalpel in his hand as if some how I will break and my skin become penetrable.
He keeps the blade hovering over my skin, waiting for my barricade to fall.
There's only one way out of this. I can either push my magic to my toes, or Theo will have to break out of his chair.

"You know, I was beginning to wonder if your witch is different from you. Like your wolf is obviously, but a witch?" Morgan laughs as he directs his attention back to Theo.
Morgan punches Theo again with ten times more effort than the last one. I try to keep my cool as Theo's lip begins to bleed, but heals instantly.
"Those witches don't have two separate thoughts. They don't have two separate personalities. Being a witch is who they are. So, Jacqueline can you explain how you have no control over your witch, when they do?"
I've been caught.
I scramble my thoughts for a excuse. If I own up to it now he will take more extreme measures. "I'm a hybrid. Not fully werewolf, not fully witch. So, no I can't explain because I barely understand it myself." I lie and hope it sounds believable. If he's smart enough, he will see through it. I guess Theo and I hadn't really thought out what I would say in defense to that question.
Morgan grabs another scalpel from the table and stands on the other side of me. A wild look lingers in his eye and I didn't have a question in my mind that he is truly insane.
Which makes sense because he has me in his grasp, but he can't have what he wants. His son is in hiding and I won't allow him to take any blood.
I've drove him insane within a matter of less than two days. That may be a record.
Morgan places the scalpel along my arm and trails it down to my wrists where I'm strapped to the chair. The blade gives a weird feeling as I develop goosebumps on my hair from it scrapping against my hard skin.
I watch him carefully as he inspects my skin. I twitch as I notice what he may be doing.
"If your witch is the problem, I'll just have to get the blood from a place she can't protect." Morgan reaches my hand, where my magic doesn't cross too.
"No, no, no." I say pulling my hand away from the blade the best I can, but Morgan grabs my hand aggressively, laying my palm up. I strain under his hold, trying to get the strength to get out of it.
Beside me, Theo growl sounds so loudly Morgan hesitates. I glance at Theo and I see his wrists somehow break the wolf-bane hold. The pressure against the chair causes the back of it to break, soon the leg of the chair does as well. Within a second, Theo has his hands around Morgan's throat, pulling him away from me. The grip on my hand is released, but rogues fill the rogue to protect Morgan.

Rogue One attempts to cut into my skin again from my left side above my wrists, but I still have my armor up.
I try to focus my magic on any other part of my body to express my magic from, but it doesn't work. I can't get out of this chair myself, it's nearly impossible.
Before I am aware of everything around me, Theo is taking on five rogues as I look up from my failing concentration. At that moment Theo snaps three of the rogue's necks and another two he throws against the wall with incredible strength.
The look on Morgan's face is easy to tell that he realizes that Theo isn't just a Alpha werewolf, but an Alpha Spellbound Lycan. I decide I should start trying to physically get out of this chair to help my mate from Morgan, who is currently deciding what to do. His eyes look frantically at the chaos developing around him and I almost want to laugh.
Theo kills a few other rogues, including rogue two and rogue one. he pulls Rogue One from my side.
He weakly attempts to cut Theo with the scalpel he still has in his hand, Theo drives it instantly into his neck.
Then he is able to come assist me in the chair. Where his wrists would usually be burned from the wolfs bane, it's healed. He unstraps my ankles first, then comes up to my wrists. Never meeting my eye one time as he rushes to get me out of the chair.
I see several rogues, as many as fifteen comes from a room and advance to Theo. They look determined and hold a cuff like thing in their hands. Immediately I know it's not just wolf-bane cuffs. These are like the ones they had me in.
"Theo!" I warn him as soon as he is able to loosen the hold on my right hand. I feel the magic flow through it as I strike them back, sending their bodies crashing over one another.
Theo's eyes find mine for a second and instead of staring in the beautiful brown eyes I've grown to love, I'm looking into darkness that reflects my own. Like a mirror image of myself. Black veins creep up his neck to his face, which I've noticed has happened to me a couple times when I've been really mad or under pressure.
Though I knocked the rogues down, they rise back up quickly. I use my magic from my right hand to get my left hand free. Theo grabs my hand and pulls me behind him. I turn so we are back to back and I watch my surrounding as rogues start cornering us.
More than one hundred rogues surround, JC and I. I have no doubt that we could take them on, but something hinders me from going ahead and destroying all of them.
Several of them hold cuffs. I can smell the wolfs-bane on them, but I also can tell that they are similar to what JC was bound with. Something that keeps magic away.
"Surrender and we will not torture you." Morgan's voice from a direction in the back. I knew I should've killed him quickly but I had to let him go when a few assholes jumped on my back and tried to stab me or bit me. JC and I are surrounded and we lean against each other, watching all directions.
Morgan comes close and some rogues allow him to pass through. A bruise is already forming on his neck from where I grabbed him, it's a wonder I didn't kill him with one quick squeeze of my hand.
Morgan's eyes hold curiosity as he looks at me. There's no doubt that he knows know that I'm Spellbound. Do I really care at this point? No. I'm ready to end all this. When JC discovered how to protect her skin, we knew that we could do this. We needed to do this before more blood was shed.
Drake, Chase, Bellamy and Jared all have their jobs. This was JC and I's. WeJC partially gave Morgan what he wanted. Who knew this man could have such little patience that the next day he would go back on his word.
When he put the blade to JC's hand, I knew that could ruin everything. Now I'm not stupid, I know that if the restraints hindered the magic from reaching JC's hand then the blood coming from her hand probably wouldn't work out for them. I just couldn't take that chance.
I keep silent at Morgan's demand, as does JC.
What are we going to do? JC mind-links me. She's panicking, which is to be expected. We didn't plan to fight anyone this soon. It could be a couple more hours before our back up arrives.
We should have back up soon. Work on getting the witches free, they will want to help. I'd take care of the rest. I say back to her. I open my mind-link to Chase and warn him about the rogues coming their way and to get the women and children out of the bunker. He obliges immediately and says that they will be here soon.
JC reaches to my hand and squeezes it, which allows a level of calmness to run through me. I squeeze it back.
I love you. I tell her.
I love you too. She says back.

The Archaic Elements
A fantasy world, its own unique power-up system, some mystery aspects to make it look interesting and an MC that should make sense but well messes up, cause plot. Flashy fights. Characters will use their brain, unless it is an arrogant young master that needs to be taught a lesson. The starting is slow and maybe boring. The main MC does not desire great strength or harbor any great ambition. He starts out as a naive, lazy and a boring person. But the story does hold one aspect which will fuel the growth of our MC, which is his boundless curiosity for adventure and his will to explore. The second MC is a reincarnation/transmigration and he has a clear cut aim that he needs to achieve. His past life experiences also becomes a pillar that will help guide the main MC, while his friend also supports him. The writing is slow and steady. I will provide reasonings behind most happenings and keep it a logical story. It's a WIP as I edit the previous chapters even as I release more, so while the content doesn't change, the style and smoothness improve. The current release rate is 3 chapter/week. There is no specific date as I can get sidetracked or forgetful., but I will try to stick to Tues, Thurs and Sunday releases.

Home. By definition, such a word means "A place where one lives", but what happens when one is removed from their home by those with greater authority? One would seek out another place to live, of course. Karastak, a Devil King and a Fallen God of a world called Terra, was removed from his world by something greater than himself, and has journeyed to the world of Azzarath by way of Azazel, God King of the Azzarathean Pantheon. Perhaps she performed thusly through pity, charity, or a simple act of kindness with no strings attached. Regardless, he is deposited near a village upon a mountainous range within the world. There, he meets up with his Human family, a grizzled old Templar, a shy Cleric, and an apathetic Mage, that came to take him away from his troubles, but he does not budge. That is, until one of his servants speaks of finding a new home. However, perhaps instead of finding a home, he finds adventure instead? The story within is a Frame Story, which means it is a story within another story. In that this one is being told by three personages, a God King called the Ageless, a Lich King called Brutus, and a Goddess named Sarah. Each of them speaks of the Ageless's past self, one called Karastak, as he journeys onwards throughout the worlds within the Azzarathean Pantheon in search of something more.
