《The Tracking ✔》Chapter 31-Two Unlikely Warriors

Two updates in a day! I hope you guys like the new cover picture, I think it goes well with the book! Let me know what you think!
Theo
I got to admit, JC putting me against the wall with her abilities was hot, yet crazy at the same time. That kiss too, I would die to be able to taste her lips again. I don't want her involved in this, but she isn't going to have it. I understand how persistent she is, but from a mate's perspective- I didn't want her to get hurt.
Or worse taken by the rouges.
But she was long gone by the time the pressure against me finally faded. The warrior are already our there, preparing for the battle. I needed to be out there with them, but then I wanted to find JC.
It's pretty complex.
I decide I need to go fight along side my pack, because it may take me a while to find JC because I don't know what her plan is.
"Where's JC?" My mom asked peaking out of the bunker. It's camouflaged into the ground, I almost jump at hearing her voice just a few feet from my feet. My nerves are sky high, I would be fine if my mate was protected.
"She's doing her own thing. She wouldn't let me bring her down there with you all." I say and usher her back down and close the latch.
I join my father who is talking to the beta and third in command. "JC down there?" He ask referring to the bunker.
"No." I say simple and then ask for the plan. My father looks annoyed that she's not down there with the other women and children, but tells me the plan anyway.
JC
I make it to the attic. I didn't know how to actually make it to the roof, but there is a two windows I can open. I can see the pack borders where rouges are slowly coming in. There's maybe two-hundred of them, they probably have more as a backup plan.
Rouges are pretty smart in strategy, although they are still pretty stupid for attacking a pack house. I don't know how they found me, but Theo did mention that they have probably followed us.
If so, why not attack us at North Star, but here?
I open the windows and for a second I almost regret not going to the bunker. What if my abilities don't work from this far away. Kelsia said they could from a great distance, but we hadn't actually practiced that. I wish she was here, so she could show me or help me.
I also remember when she told me telekinesis may not be the only abilities I posses as a witch. Since I am a werewolf as well, there's no telling what I can do. For now, the telekinesis is all I got.
I continue to watch the rouges walk and then the immediately start running. I look to the ground and see the pack members getting ready, but still kind of talking among each other.
I need to warn them. I see Theo and I use my abilities to turn him to me. Everyone looks at him curiously as his body does an unwilling turn, I direct his head up to me at the window.
Get ready. I mouth to him. He looks surprised to see me all the way up here, but gives me a slight smile and turns to the members.

"Get ready." He says to them. They all stand in a line and transform into their wolf form, shedding their clothing.
I decide it's time to test this witch side out for real, and these rouges deserve my wrath I've been wanting to release.
I zero in on a group of rouges heading toward the south, where a group of warrior are watching the woods carefully, but I don't think they realize how close they are. I'm not sure how to kill them, but quickly realize now I do.
I find a few tall pine trees side by side and pull them down instantly, landing on half of the wolves in that group.
This grabs the pack warriors attention because the sound of rogues whimpering and howling in pain let them know that they're closer.
I also had to fight the urge to yell, "Timber!"
Next I see the rouges moving faster, as seeing some of them are already dead or seriously hurt. This group in particular is still in their human form, I guess they want to transform when they get closer.
I grab one at a time and throw them up from the ground further back into the trees, some catch in the limbs and some fall to the ground in their wolf form. My favorite is one that is impaled by the sharp tree limb sticking out of the top.
Gross.
I keep looked for more targets, some are still running toward us, faster than ever and I keep slamming rogues into trees, I pick them up into the air then hurl them to the ground, and some I simply snap their neck if they are close enough.
As I do this, none of the pack warriors have had to touch a single rouge. I finally feel pretty badass like Theo says I am. I try not to get too into my head about it however, it feels amazing.
I'm protecting all these men and my mate from having to fight at all.
The moment doesn't last, more rouges emerge from the trees and keep coming. I throw them, hurl them, and well-kill them. But some slip through my grasp, they are too fast and they reach the warriors.
Theo is the first to start fighting, but I can't focus on watching him because I have to keep as many away as I can. It takes much more strength from me to kill them, and I know I'm getting weaker.
I grab a bottle of water beside me that I brought up and drink the whole bottle within seconds and start again. This time I find Theo and break the rogue's neck that is on top of him. Theo is in his wolf's form now and he looks up to me. He's brown like myself and fairly big. He is an Alpha so that's expected.
It's a moment like this that makes me wish we could mind link and communicate. He looks away and begins fighting more.
I feel a trickle down my nose and quickly realize my nose is bleeding, which has never happened before. I press the sleeve of Theo's shirt to my nose to stop the bleed and I continue looking for more targets.
One after one I killed a total sum as of now ninety-four rouges. My body is drained, and when I don't think I can kill another, I do it anyway.
"You're the one doing this? I never would have expected that." A voice says from behind me sarcastically and I whip around and hold my fingers up, pinning the intruder to the wall. I should've smelled the rogue, but unfortunately all I could smell was my blood.

"You sure are doing a lot of damage out there." The rogue speaks and smiles against the restraint I have on him. "Soon we will be unstoppable, not even you could kill us. We'll use you as our blood bank."
Man, this rogue is pretty forward with their intentions.
I don't say anything back as I push into his stomach hard, leaving him gasping in pain. I might as well be rearranging his organs.
"How many are you in the house?" I demand an answer. I let the pressure off his stomach just enough for him to talk.
"Too much for you to handle." He says. I have two open windows and I knew I couldn't protect all the corners of the pack house. Did they sneak in the house knowing that I would be up in the attic helping?
"I can handle anything." I say confidently, staring him straight in the eye. More dark red blood trickles down my nose and into my mouth. The rouge notices this and he fights more to get released from my hold.
He wants my blood. I don't have how much it takes of my blood to empower another werewolf, but it could be as little as a drop.
I need to end this before I get weaker. I want to know more information, but I can't risk it.
I push so much force into his chest, it cracks his ribs puncturing his lungs and heart. He collapse to the ground and so do I. That is my most violent and hardest kill I have done thus far, and the most exhausting.
I close the door to the attic and push and old shelve in front of it. I have to let Theo know they are in the house someway.
I find him in the field fighting off two rouges, and before I can help he kills them both.
"They're in the house!" I yell at the top of my lungs, because they know I'm up here anyway. Should I jump down where Theo can protect me or try to get in the bunker again?
I'm a sitting duck up here.
Theo looks to the attic where I'm waving frantically like a damsel in distress.
I would have been fine if they come for me a hour ago, but like I said. Rouges are smart, and I'm sure they knew I would be tired and that would be when they would strike.
Then the pounding starts on the door and I quickly change into my wolf. My witch side obviously needs to rest and my wolf is excited to kill.
I kind of sound like a psychopath but I don't care. It's either them or everyone else in the world.
It's crazy how my human form is tired, but my wolf form isn't near as much. They are totally separate like I've always known, it still shocks me every time.
I put my front of paws on shelf and put all my body weight of two-hundred pounds against the door.
"Open up!" A rouge yells and I lean harder against the shelf.
My wolf wants me to just let them in so we can fight, but I have to remind her that if they get any blood from me that it's over. One or one-hundred wolves - I don't care. I need to keep myself safe.
Finally I guess Theo gets to the rogues because the pressure comes off the door and the sound of wolves fighting is heard from the other door.
The fighting, snarling, and snapping eventually stops and instead of hearing Theo's voice, I hear Drake and Jared's asking me to let them in.
I push the shelve aside with my paws and grab the door knob with my teeth, opening it. Bodies of the rogues slump against the door, and Drake's wolf from drags them out of the way so they can enter.
Having just changed into human long enough to tell me that it was them, the two come in carrying clothes in a bag in their mouths. I'm thankful for that because I can't communicate with them in wolf form and my clothes are shredded.
Plus, it would be awkward to be naked in front of each other, Theo would definitley not like them after that.
I go behind and old dresser with a bag of clothes and the boys go to separate corners of the room to change as well. I notice it is Jared clothes because the little I can smell is from him, and they are men's size. Drakes wouldn't fit me anyhow.
But how did they know I'm up here, to bring clothes and to come at the perfect time?
"What are you guys doing here?" I ask looked at them back as if they've lost their mind. They could've been mistaken for one of them.
"I went into town since the house the Alpha provided wasn't supplied and heard rogues talking about it. I decided to bring extra clothes for Jared and I because I didn't know how much we would be fighting. " Drake says. I'm surprised the rouges were talking openly about it, but then again I'm sure Jared and Drake didn't alarm them since they are rouges themselves.
I am astounded that these two boys actually care enough about me to come into a territory that they are not allowed in, just to make sure I'm okay. They don't deserve to be rouges and treated so unfairly.
I look out the window and see the fight dying down. Only about ten rouges were still alive and fighting still.
"Thank you guys, I really appreciate you coming to help." I compliment.
Jared looked at a rouge's body on the floor, slumped against the wall. "You do that?"
I nod, seeing the rogue made me feel sick to my stomach. I've killed a total of one-hundred and twenty-one rouges now and I know that it's a matter of time before I pass out if I have to kill more.
"Cool." Jared says and I roll my eyes.
I look at Drake, "Why did you bring the kid?"
It is a dangerous situation and Jared is only fourteen, what if he got hurt?
"He's tougher than he looks JC." Drake says without another word and went to look out the window.
Jared shrugs his shoulders and I shake my head. I guess the two of them have gotten close.
I take his word for it because I'm too tired to fight. They are up here with me now and safe. "I should go down and help them." Drake says, getting prepared to jump out the window.
I've never moved so fast grabbing the back of his shirt, "They will mistake you for one of them Drake. You have bad history here too." If he goes out there, he will get himself killed. No question about it.
Theo told me about the accusations Drake has on him, and it explains why Drake told me when we first met about his mate being killed by his Alpha.
I'm surprised he hadn't had any confrontation with this pack coming in here. I hope that Theo's father doesn't get extremely upset about them being here.
"Right." He sighs and sits back down on the floor and I sit down too.
"What now?" Jared asks sitting with us and I lean my head against the wall.
"We wait till it's over." I say. The warriors have it under control since I've looked last. I glance again, and just a few rogues remain.
I'm actually worried about Theo and the fact he isn't up here yet. He saw me yelling for him.
The battle with the rogues wasn't as easy as I anticipated, they were relentless and strong. I can't imagine how they would actually be if they had got to JC.
I know she is safe, I can feel it. I wanted to run for to get to her in the attic, but another rouge attacked me before I could take another step. He died with a fierce fight.
I'm impressed by how many rogues I have seen JC kill. Every time a rogue was tossed in the air and looked around for the culprit I wanted to laugh. They had no idea how to avoid her.
I killed maybe twelve rogues total, and they fought me hard. As far as I know, none of our pack members have been injured and it looked like we've defeated them all, for now.
Now, I can finally go up and check on JC. I feel terrible for not going to her immediately when she called for help, but some pack warriors went in the house to search it. I already had my hands full dealing with the rouge that I've killed last.
I turn back into human form and get some ball shorts on that always sit in a container on the back deck.
Walking into the pack house, I see the pack warriors have caught one rogue who looks like he doesn't want to fight anymore.
When I walk in, his eyes find mine and the warriors, Brent and Cal have him by both arms tightly.
"We are going to take her you know?" He says weakly. Blood drops from his mouth where he has a cut lip and his brown hair is ruffled.
"Shut up!" Cal shouted harshly at the rogue and jerked him away from me.
Brent turns to me, "Want us to kill him?"
"Lock him up and have a guards on watch." I order. I'll have questions for this rogue, but I can't waste anymore time before I go find JC.
Brent and Cal jerk the rogue away toward our outside cell chamber and I ascend the stairs toward my mate.
