Days passed by and everything was still the same except some things. Aarthi is still not in the palace and I don't know why. I didn't bother to ask anyone because I hate her and it doesn't change.

"Where is my kada?", He asked me and I turned back to him.

"How would I know? You were the one who placed it somewhere yesterday night. The crown prince was so drunk to even remember where he placed the kada!", I yelled.

Yes, I'm angry at him because he was drunk yesterday. I didn't like it because it gives me the memory of my father drinking and beating my mother.

I was afraid he would do the same when he was drunk. I couldn't imagine Arjun being a drunk man who abuses me. I get chills when I even think about it.

I'm definitely overthinking but I can't help it because of the memories of my father which was haunting me.

"What's the point of being angry there? I just got drunk.. can't I be happy for one single day?", He asked irritated.

"How you can justify your actions? Shall I go and drink for happiness too? Will you allow me to?", I asked.

"How can you think I'd let you to. Maybe, you can do anything except this. Remember when you bought three of your new friends to the palace day before yesterday? It was your happiness and I let it to be. But, in my point of view, I would've chased them out of my house if it wasn't for you because they can be goons who was sent by our rivals or spies or anything worse..", he said.

"You mean, there will be goons and spies to kill me too?"

"Yeah, there will be. Always there will be someone who wanted us to be dead.", He scared me.

"You mean I can get killed anytime?"

"Yeah.. anytime and anywhere. Even you can get killed in this room by one of our soldiers.. that's why I'm telling you, just love your husband more and you're more than safe with me.", He said scaring me.

"Don't lie.."

"Come on, how can I let you die? I wouldn't even trust my trusted soldiers when it comes to you..", he said and I sighed in relied.

"You sure you won't let me die?", I asked to clarify.

"Yeah, I won't.. I never thought you'd be scared this easy.", He said.

"Fine, leave it.."

"I thought of asking you about this question but forgot every time. Where's Aarthi?", I asked and he frowned.

"Don't you know that I dismissed her from being my side consort?"

"You mean, you divorced her?"

"What's a divorce?", He asked with a frown and I shook my head.

"I mean, she's no longer your wife?", I asked and he nodded.

"Don't you remember when I said I'll dismiss her when you were arguing with me?"

"Correction. You were arguing with me..", I corrected.

"Well then, not you, and not me. The core reason for this argument is your brother.", He said.

"Why do you have to drag my brother in everything? Every time we have an argument, you do nothing but drag my brother into that..", I said.

"Because he is always the root of the problem.."

"Why can't you just get along with my brother in good terms?", I asked.

"Because he doesn't. As he's older than me, he should be the one who should be with less ego. But, he just does everything that pissed me off.", He said and I shook my head in disbelief.

"Well, I have work out for few hours. I'll be back before noon.", He said and left the room. He still didn't get the kada.

I sighed and and started doing my regular chores and on the afternoon, he returned back home. He didn't so good.

He was wearing a grumpy expression which I never liked. I don't know the reason behind his reaction as I looked him expecting an answer.

"Your brother is here", he said flatly. Now, I know the reason behind his grumpiness. But, before that I decided to look at my brother because it's been long..

I went downstair where I saw Tamizh sitting on the couch sipping the tea. He got up as he saw me and I hugged him tightly.

I missed him so much throughout these days. It's really a special feeling when we meet someone after long time. For me, just few days was hell.

"You missed me?", He asked and I hummed. How come I can stay without missing him?

"Did Arjun scold you? Or fought with you?", He asked.

"No, he didn't. I did.", I said as he nodded.

"If he fights or scolds you, just tell me and I'll break his jaw. I will make sure that he can't move his handsome face for months.", He said.

"Why can't you just-"

"I can't get along with him. I'm happy that you married him because he's a perfect pair for you but it doesn't mean I can got along with him.."

"You can try to."

"I can't. I still remember how he cheated me in a game when we were 7. God, it was embarassing infront of everyone to lose. According to the rules, I was the one who has won but he just cheated me!", He said angrily.

"What? Game? Cheat? What the hell, Tamizh? You're not a child.."

"But, it's still fresh in my mind like it happened just yesterday. Also, not only this incident, many! Many things that you can't even imagine.", He said and I shrugged.

When both are but in a state of mind to get along, it's waste of time convincing them to. They won't get along in this lifetime of this stays like this.

I was worried that my brother and husband isn't in good terms. It's like a sma cold war is going on inbetween the. It's ok for now but if Tamizh become the king of the kingdom and Arjun becomes the emperor of the dynasty, it's going to be a disaster.

They are furture kings of two different places and it's important for them to be in good terms, if not, it's surely going to end up in war.

"Okay, come on, let's have our lunch, can we?", I said and he nodded.

I took him to the dining table where me, Tamizha and Arjun were seated. I was sitting between them and I felt so much protected between my brother and husband.

"You like this right?", He asked referring to the food. In recent days, I have been refusing to eat food because I didn't like the food.

"Yeah, I like this..", I replied.

"You still don't know what your wife likes and what she doesn't.. what kind of husband you are.", He wondered shooking his head in disbelief.

"Okay then, tell me, what she likes to eat?", Arjun asked and I know it's not going to end up well.

"She likes Kali.", Tamizh said and I made a disgusting face.

"Eeks! Who likes that?", I said with a frown.

"Don't kid me, dear sister.. are you going this to support him?"

"Come on, what am I going to get doing that? I don't like it.."

"I know where the problem is. The kali in this dynasty isn't good and tasty like in ours, right?", Tamizh asked and Arjun gritted his teeth.

"Maybe, that can be a reason..", I said. Because, I need a reason why I started hating kali all of sudden.

"Thea, you're supporting him!"

"Why are you calling her by other woman names? You still thinking about other woman you slept with yesterday?"

"What?", I asked frowning. Tamizh doesn't know that Arjun started referring me with my own name.

"I asked him to call me with that name. Isn't it good?", I asked.

"Thara is a very great name and-"

"Yeah it is. But, I like it when he calls me like that.", I said and he nodded. We started eating. The whole time, Arjun and Tamizh kept bickering and I couldn't tolerate them.

They annoy me a lot with their childish argument..

We finished eating and we three sat in the couch relaxing after having our lunch.

"What about Aarthi? How's she?", I asked. I was curious to know how's she doing.

"Umm, bad. She always used to fight with our mother. Did you get the news of her mother missing?", He asked and I was shocked at the last sentence.

"What? The queen is missing? But, how?", I asked and I looked at Arjun to see his reaction. He was sitting like nothing happened when my expression was dead serious.

"We don't have any idea where she is. But, I know your husband did something to her..", he said and I looked at Arjun who was wearing a psychopathic smirk on his face.

I gasped connecting every dots. He just thought of doing this since he knew about the queen trying to give me away to the jeweller.

"What did you do Arjun?", I asked seriously expecting an answer from him.

"Guess what I did to her..", he said. I didn't see a small hint of regret in his words. All there was is sarcasm.

"This is why I trust him with you. I hope the best for you. I have some works ahead. Maybe, we could see each other in a month or two.", He said getting up.

I hugged him knowing that I won't meet him for one or two months. I was sad and I was sure that I'm going to miss him badly.

"What do you think about your spies, Tamizh?", Arjun's voice echoed through the hall and I looked at him.

"Yeah, I heard you kicked them out with a first and last warning.", He said casually and I was panicking what's coming up next.

"Better don't do this again or I might kill the spies and sometimes there's chances to hurt the person who sent spies inside my palace..", he warned.

"You mean, you'll kill my brother?", I asked Arjun and a small drop of tear threatened to fall from my eyes.

"He can't.. why are you crying?", Tamizh soothed me wiping a tear which falled from my eyes.

"Why you have to make my sister cry for no reason at all!?", Tamizh yelled at Arjun.

I couldn't even think Arjun killing Tamizh. I want both of them to be in here. I don't want either of them being hurt or be dead.

"I was just warning you and for your kind information, this is my wife and I can take care of her..", Arjun yelled back. I didn't cry first of all, I was just imagining about their future. They'd surely kill each other if they're left alone for a hour.

"Wai-"

"She's my sister as well, Arjun. If a situation comes up where she should choose you or me, I'm confident that she'll definitely choose me over you!", Yelled Tamizh.

"Ok then, let's ask her..", Arjun turned to me. "Who'd you choose, Thea?"

"I..", I don't know what to answer. I don't think such situation would ever come in my life.

"Tell fast, Thara! Who would you choose!"

"She'd definitely going to choose me, Tamizh.. she'll choose me and you'll watch!", Arjun said confidently.

They both are confident that I'll choose them.

"If such situation comes up, I just let you both die instead of choosing one..", I said and they frowned.

"So, you won't choose me..", there was a glint of hurt in Arjun's face.

"Why won't you choose me?", Asked Tamizh. It was annoying to stay with them when they're together so I left back to my room leaving two disasters alone.

Lying on the bed, I removed my eating and necklace which was poking me when I was sleeping. I'm not a fan of wearing jewelry but still I have to do it in her.
