I was on my way to my room while those three woman stopped me.

"So, you're going to be a concubine in 2 week like us..", Ganga said and I was feeling bad that I'm going to join them in 2 weeks. Because they don't feel good. I hid that feeling being expressed on my face.

"You think so? I don't really care if you do. But, I should tell you it won't ever happen in this lifetime. Even if it happens, Arjun will have the same feeling for me as now.", I said as they were gritting their teeth in anger.

"You think main consort will be respected in this kingdom after the news spread that she tried to sell me? You think Arjun will spare her?", I said with a smirk.

"Wait 2 weeks. Just 2 weeks and we know how to make you suffer.", Chitra said and I just scoffed.

"I know what I have to do if it happens.", I said and left to my room hitting Chitra's shoulder with mine making her stumble backwards a little.

I took out my watch from the precious box. The crown of the watch was still missing. I searched the whole room to find a earing that can replace the crown. It should be very small yet fittable.

That's when I got one thing. A earing. It's a small bead earing. All I have to do now is make the small drill like stainless steel metal that would fit inside it perfectly.

I got this idea when I was talking about the Jeweller. Earing is a jewel right. I kept the earing inside the box and kept it safely back inside the wardrobe.

I jumped hearing someone enter my room. I looked back to see Arjun who seemed angry. He broke a vase in the floor shattering it into pieces.

I flinched. Is he mad because of me? Did she start behaving bipolar again?

"Why are you mad?", I asked which is barely audible for him. He didn't reply and plopped on the bed placing his palm on his forehead.

"What happened, Arjun? Are you mad because of me?", I asked.

"No. I'm not- it's because of the ministers. They just suck. They don't listen to my thoughts. Today father said he'll be choosing the crown prince next week. When he asked opinion on the ministers about who would be best for being the next emperor, everyone pointed Ezhil. Ezhil just bribed them to. He's trying to take my everything which will never happen!", He said angry.

"I'm sorry. I hope you will pass next week's test. Also you have your marriage two weeks later with Aarthi. You'll be more happy and motivated. Am I right?", I asked testing him if he knew Aarthi marrying him two weeks later.

"What?", He asked confused.

So he doesn't know yet. The main consort should've probably talked to Arjun's mother and put on some other deal again..

"Aarthi said.. she will be marrying you as main consort next week and I will be the concubine of yours.", I said as he looked at me.

"Anyway. It's the thing that's supposed to be happen when I cheated you on marrying. I have no issues.", I said reluctantly.

"Well.", Was all he said before he left the room. And, my last hope crushed. I thought he will help me. I thought he would tell something which soothes me.

I plopped on the bed with this thought. How am I going to survive this?

"Well.", Was all I said before I left her in the room. I believe mother should've done this arrangement without my consent.

I saw some maids gossiping about Thara and the main consort of chola kingdom.

"It's really hell. How could she sell off the princess like this? Would she have done this if it was Princess Aarthi? Would she try to sell Princess Aarthi like she did to Princess Thara?"

What the hell is going on?

"The main consort of chola kingdom looks good in everyone's eyes. But, she's really bad. I also heard that Prince Tamizh saved Princess from getting r*ped by that jeweller. Even if he was 10 seconds later, everything would've been over."

Is this a rumour?

I called a trusted soldier of mine and asked to investigate about this. I left in my horse to my father's palace with some of my soldiers.

I reached the main palace of the kingdom and paced inside while the men who were guarding palace were greeting me which I totally ignored.

I left inside the palace to see my father, the emperor of this entire throne was discussing about our people's well being to our ministers.

"Father. I want to talk to you about something. I insist if mother's included in this discussion too.", My voice echoed through the surrounding and everything became silent.

"Ok, son.", He turned to the guard. "Arrange the living room", he ordered and looked at me.

We went to the living room where mother was following me too. We settled in our couch and father gestured me to start.

"I heard there will be marriage arrangements for me and Aarthi in two weeks. Can I know who was the one who accepted for this arrangement?", I asked looking at mother.

"It's not me. It couldn't be either your mother. Because you're married just now. You're married to your main consort just 2 days ago."

"That's me. I agreed for the arrangement when the queen of chola kingdom asked me. I visited Thara yesterday and was totally disappointed by her. Is she even a woman? She doesn't even know how to cook. How can I ruin my son's like marrying him to this kind of gold diggers?", Finally mother accepted.

I was instantly angry when she called her a gold digger. I don't know why. But, I don't like that.

"Does the fact that she doesn't know to cook or do households bothering you, Arjun?", Father asked.

"No", the next second I said this, my mother got angry.

"How can you say that, Arjun? She's not even worth being your maid!", Mother yelled.

"No, mother. She's worth being my main consort. She's worth being my life partner and my future empress.", I argued back for the first time with mother.

"That's good, my son. I knew you would be happy with her. Stay happy like this forever, son.", Father blessed and I smiled.

"Then what about Aarthi? That poor soul. She cut her nerves for you. Wouldn't you marry her? Will you ditch her for her 9 years of love?"

Don't do this, Arjun. Just because you got your love, don't leave Aarthi. She have her love for 9 whole years without expecting anything.

Yes. She didn't expect anything other than my love which I can't give her.

"I-I didn't say I won't marry her. I said I won't marry her as my main consort.", I said. And I was too determined that I will not give up on Thara too.

She might have cheated me on marriage. She might have rejected my love. But, she's going to suffer a lot if I make her as a concubine. Chitra, mohana and Ganga will surely not treat her well.

"What do you mean? You're supporting that gold digger?", She yelled.

"It's his wish whom to keep as main consort and whom to keep as concubine. You don't have to tell this to him.", Father supported.

"Then, you're marrying Aarthi as a cheap concubine?"

"You tried to marry Thara off to my big father as a same cheap concubine, mother. Where did your sympathy go when you made a deal to marry her off to a man who's going to die in one or two years and that also as a concubine.", I argues and she shut her mouth.

"Why you hate her so much and show a lot of concern to Aarthi? Why!", I yelled of frustration.

"Because she's a daughter of a concubine and Aarthi is a daughter of Queen. There's a difference Arjun."

"As if I care. I can't marry Aarthi as my main consort. Maybe, I will marry as side consort or concubine and keep her happy. That's all I can do for her 9 years love."

"But, she only wants to be your main consort?", Mother said.

"But, I only want Thara as my main consort.", I said back and her mouth was shut.

"It's ok, son. Thara will remain as your main consort. It's your wish to marry Aarthi or now and what position should you give to her in your life.", Father said giving me freedom.

"But-", before mother could say anything father cut her off saying, "stop it. I'm the emperor here and you should ought to respect me. Got it", father said in a dangerous tone and mother nodded.

I left my father's palace with relief and rode my horse back to my palace. It was a little far. As soon as I reached near my palace, I heard every of the people talking about only Thara and the main consort.

They were talking like main consort tried to sell Thara to a jeweller and- what the hell is actually happening here?

I went back inside my palace and called the soldier who I assigned to investigate about this rumour.

"According to what people say, The main consort tried to sell Princess Thara off to a jeweller for a sole reason to taint her dignity but eventually failed. Tamizh was the one who saved her from the jeweller from being r*ped. And when I investigated about that.... It's all real.", He finished as I looked at him in disbelief.

I never knew the queen of chola kingdom was this cruel. I can't even imagine the pain someone going through when they were literally being selled off. Especially Thara.

"Are you sure it's real?", I asked and he nodded.

"I'm damn sure, your highness. The Jeweller who tried to r*pe her is still alive living a luxurious life.", He added.

"How could he live when he tried to r*pe my wife? Especially a luxurious life?", With this I scoffed.

"Tell our guards to bring him to the cell. I will decide what punishment I have to give him.", I said and he nodded taking his leave.

I went to her room and looked at her which was always beautiful for me. She was reading the book she have bought today afternoon.

I looked closely to see her sleeping behind her hands holding the book. I grabbed the book and kept it aside. I carried her to my room with my hands lifting her beautyful figure.

She was not much heavy or much lightweighted. She was in a perfect weight to be carried.

I carried her directly to my room where I saw my the concubines whose jaw hit the floor in surprise and shock.

I placed her on my bed and tucked her inside blanket. Anyway, I have to wake her up for the dinner. But, it's going to be after dinner.

"I've never seen our prince ever let someone sleep in his bed.", I heard Mohana's words from doorstep.

"She's going to be sleeping here from now on.", I stated and they exchanged glances.

"Even after making her your concubine?"

"I'm not going to make her my concubine first of all. She's going to remain as my main consort.", I declared and they were shocked.

"But, you're going to marry Princess Aarthi in two weeks. What about that?", Ganga asked.

"She's going to be either my concubine or side consort.", I said and they left taking their leave. I'll have to ask her about the recent news about the main consort after she's up.

If it's real, why the queen hadn't got her punishment. The real person who deserves main punishment is the queen and I'll make sure to punish her.

I left the room closing it behind as she was sleeping like an angel.
