He was happy. Happy after I gifted him the kada. I was happy for that too. I saw three ladies gossiping about me when I knocked Arjun's door. I assume they're the concubines of him.

It was lunch. Time easily passed as I went for a good shopping. I went to the dining table as Arjun was sitting in the middle and those three ladies fighting to serve him food.

I took a seat beside Arjun as I felt the heating gaze of them on me.

"I won't serve anyone except who I ought to serve.", One of the girl said and others nodded.

What's wrong with them?

After they finished serving food for Arjun, I got up trying to serve food myself before a hand caught my wrist. It was Arjun. I shot him a confusing glare.

He got up from his seat making me sit. He served me food careful not to include beans.

I think I'm alergic of beans. Do I?

The three woman was staring at me and was burning in jealousy.

"What are you doing, your highness? You're not supposed to-", one of the girl said and he cuts her off with an angry glare and she shuts.

He didn't stop with food. He poured water from the jar and kept the glass near my plate.

"Thank you", I mumbled and he smiled.

We startee eating so did the three girls. Their stare was only one me which was disturbing.

"Stop looking at her like that.", Arjun said with his gaze at only his food. They focused on their food leaving me alone.

I finished my food and got up from my seat washing my hand. We sat in the couch in living room. Arjun was looking like a Greek God. Every time I look at him, I wonder how someone could be so handsome.

When I read my history book, I always get a feeling that the kings in ancient time will look old and ugly. But, seeing him, everything change. He changed everything.

He started coughing and sneezing. He's even handsome when suffering from cold. Red nose, red eyes, the way he licks his lips...

"Can I know what are you staring at?", His voice came over. The fact which embarrasses me is the three women was here sitting with us.

"It's just that you have cold. Shall I suggest a remedy?", I asked and he nodded.

"Don't worry, main consort. We already have a remedy. You should rest. Because you are tired of travelling the whole day and shopping on the market for hourse spending time for literally nothing..", she mocked me.

"Yes. She's a clear useless main consort.", The other said and it was embarassing.

"Can you just stop this? Can't you see I have cold? Chitra, go and heat the water. Ganga and Mohana, go and get herbs to cure cold and a blanket.", He ordered and everyone left.

"What about me?", I asked as he glanced at me.

"You.. massage my head. It's hurting a bit.", He said with a smirk.

I wish I didn't open my mouth.

"Anything else?", I asked and he shook his head. I stood behind him and massaged his head soothing him. He closed his eyes and a small moan left his mouth.

"You're really good at this.", He said and I mumbled a "thank you"

Today I went to the market not only for timepass. But to look whether they have some instruments to repair my watch. But, they have nothing. The whole market is a garbage. But, I was happy that I got a kada for him.

Soon those three came with water, towel and herbs. No offense. They were all very beautiful. Arjun had taste in selecting them.

They put herb on thr hot water and the blanket was ready. Arjun bent down to the hot water smelling the hot herbs and he made himself inside blanket with water insider which will be very sweating. But, it's effective in curing cold.

"You want any help, your highness?", One of the woman asked and I could hear a voice of him from the blanket, "no"

After 5 minutes he came out of the blanket fully with full sweat on his face. He was looking more handsome now. Shit! He's going to be the death of me.

"You feeling well now?", I asked and he nodded intaking a sharp breath.

"What about you? You were sleeping on the cold rock when we were in the cliff. You feeling well right?", He asked and I nodded with a smile.

"Why don't you us, your highness? We're working really really hard for you. But, she isn't moving an inch.", I heard a woman say which got on my nerves.

Is she the one who gets scold from the empress? Is she the one who's tired of doing nothing? Doing nothing than doing work is hard!

"Can you keep your mouth shut, Chitra?", Arjun said and she turned her head.

Chitra? Good name.

"What about you two? What's your name?", I asked and everyone looked at me weirdly. Arjun pulled me towards him and leaned his mouth near my ear.

"Don't you remember them? Did you forget everything?", He whispered in my ear and I was conscious.

"I remember two girls name. Chitra and... Ganga. I don't remember the last one's name.", I whispered back remembering a maid saying he slept with Ganga on out wedding day.

"Thank God you barely remember things.", He whispered.

"What secret are you two speaking for one whole minute? She's reacting like she don't know us..", Chitra asked confused looking at Arjun.

"Uhh.. just a formality. Introduce yourself.", Arjun said and they all blinked.

"Well. My name is Chitra. The first concubine of him.", She said proudly.

"And I'm Ganga.", The other said. Hatred was clear on her face.

"I'm Mohana.", She said and I could see the same hatred on everyone's face.

"My name is.. Thara. Thara Arjun.", I said with his name behind mine earning a smirk from him. It felt different. Having someone's name behind mine. Most importantly, a handsome and powerful man's name behind mine.

"Ezhil have 4 concubines right? How does he manage?", I asked him as I could see he wasn't willing to speak about him.

"You want to go back to him?", He asked a little mad.

"I won't. He tried to kill me. He's an obsessed psycho.", I said as he frowned.

"What? Tried to kill you?", He asked as if he don't know. So, he don't know? I nodded slowly. He looked forward at the concubines who wasn't moving an inch from the place.

"You three can go do your works.", He said and they were still standing.

"For your kind information, we don't have any work left.", Mohana said and he was tensed. He's getting tensed so easily.

"Then, go to your room and sleep.", He growled and they all left. After they all left, he looked at me.

"What did he try to do you?", He asked.

"Umm... After our marriage, I was in my room. He knocked my room and dragged me outside. He said that me and him can't live together. So, let's die. I don't want to die. He dragged me with him and that's when you came and saved me.", I asked and he recalled the events happened on our wedding.

"He didn't hurt you. Did he?", He asked and I shook my head slowly.

"Go and get some rest. I have some work left.", He said and I again sighed in frustration again.

"I don't want to do it again. All I do is eat, rest and rest. I want change.", I whined and he cupped my face pecking my lips. Shit!

Then, he left. I was left shocked. He really have an effect on me. The peck had a great effect on me.

I was alone wondering for five whole minutes. And then went to my room looking at ants moving. I never thought someday in my life I would look ants moving around as an interesting scenery.

In the corner of my mind, the picture of Arjun pecking on my lips glitched. It was magic.

I heard someone knocking my door. I opened the door to see two soldiers.

"Prince Aarthi and the main consort of chola kingdom is downstairs to see you.", They said and took their leave. Why are they here? I stopped the soldier who was going.

"Where is Arjun?", I asked.

"He's in an important discussion with ministers of the kingdom. It will take more than an hour to finish."

It's good if they leave before Arjun finishes his discussion.

"Ok. You can leave now.", I said and they left. I went downstairs and saw the main consort and Aarthi sitting on the couch with one leg on other sipping the tea served by the maid.

I took a seat behind them which caught their attention.

"Nice you meet you, Daughter of a concubine..", Aarthi said getting on my nerves. Why can't she just leave me alone?

"Why are you here?", I asked calmly.

"Don't worry. I didn't come to see your husband or impress him. I came to see you. I want to tell you that mine and Arjun's marriage is in two weeks. I will be main consort as I should and you will be a concubine or side consort.", She said with a scoff.

It's the thing that should naturally happen. It's the thing that's supposed to happen when I cheated. But, why do I feel a little hurt? I cleared my throat not showing my hurt.

"I don't care, Aarthi. The person you should be telling this is Arjun. Not me.", I said and was to get up when I felt her strong grip on my hand.

"You are going to care, Thara. I'm going to show you each and every minute until you die. Wait for two weaks. And your life will be a hell.", She warned me.

"Let's see Aarthi. You know what? Arjun cared a lot for me in this two days. We spent the whole night travelling yesterday. It was so awesome to be with him. I didn't leave his hand for just a second. And I will never leave his hand. Never ever.", I said to make her angry. I didn't mean those words. But, I wish I could say these words for true.

She was gritting her teeth and chenching her fists and I was enjoying it.

"Just wait and see, Thara. I will make him only care for me after 2 weeks. You will be just a concubine. I will never let you take over his heart.", She challenged.

"I know, Aarthi. I know you will not. But, think again. Arjun cares for me. Cares a lot for me. He will never let me go out of his heart.", I was mocking her till she panted in anger.

Now, you know what I will do when someone make me angry. I would make them more mad. I'm very good at manipulating others.

The main consort scoffed and paced towards me. Her hands were flying to slap me. Before that I caught her hand challenging her and their eyes widened.

"Where did you get all these guts from? From Arjun?", The main consort asked and I pretended like lowering my head in shyness. It made her more mad.

"Yeah. From my dear husband. Today, I gifted him a kada. He liked it very muck and kissed me as a reward. It was so romantic.", I was mocking her again and again.

I'm going to repeat this process until they gets out of the palace.

"You're both so pathetic. I remember you trying to sell me off to a jeweller, old lady!", I said to main consort and every maid heard those words. It's going to spread everywhere and everyone's going to know that main consort tried to sell me off to a jeweller.

Let the truth spread everywhere.

I threw her hands and they left the palace shooting me an angry glare.
