I set the time 12 March 949 AD, 11:00 a.m.

I'm just curious to know if it's true. And 99% sure he's just kidding me.

I clicked the crown of the watch as he said.

All of sudden, everything around me turned black. It was like a black hole I'm standing in.

Am I dreaming?

The black hole started revolving around causing my head to ache. I never thought something like this can really happen.

I never thought someone could invent a time machine and blabber to someone random. Especially me.

It's like a dream or hallucination around. I was holding the time machine watch tightly yet carefully being aware not to break it.

My head was revolving and my brain was confused. I felt dreadfully dizzy. Fatigue was killing me.

I felt like floating. It was like a fraction of second taking one hour to pass by. I couldn't resist anymore. My eyelids became heavy. I couldn't and blacked out.

I woke up and opened my eyes slightly. I felt something heavy wrapped on my body. I opened my eyes fully. It was blurry.

I saw many figures standing around me. I didn't feel like I was in my place anymore. It was like I was somewhere else in a stranger's place.

My eyes became clear and saw a luxury lamp on the ceiling. It's not definitely hospital. Am I in that drunk man's house?

I looked around and everyone was wearing strange clothes. Is there any serial shooting going on?

I got up from the bed looking at everyone. Everyone was wearing clothes that would be wore before 15th century of India.

Or did I really time travel?

Ohh shit!

A man in forties approached me and cupped my face.

"Thank God you are okay! You know how father was worried about you?", Saying this he heaved a sigh of relief.

Father?

A young woman in my age was sitting down on the floor where I was sitting on the bed.

"I was scared when you fell from the mountain. Thank God, your highness saved you!", The young woman said.

"Who are y'all?", I asked confused with wide eyes probably scared.

I saw my hand where there was a watch.

So, I really time travelled. I fear I will be crazy if I stay here one more minute.

I looked at the watch and tried to set back my own timeline. But, noticed the crown of the watch was missing.

No no no!

I searched everywhere in the bed despite the fact that everyone is looking at me like I became crazy. I was scared! Scared a lot.

I want to go to my own timeline. I want to go home. See my sister Ramya. See my nephew.

"What happened, dear?", Asked a lady in forties.

The man who claimed as my father and this lady was standing with teary eyes together. I assume they're husband and wife. Means, she's my mom in this timeline.

"I-I came from future. I need to go back. Help me go back.", I asked them with a small hope that they will understand me.

"She became crazy in shock that she was about to fall from a thousand feet hill.", A handsome man opened his mouth. He looks like a Greek God.

But, there's no time for me to observe him!

Who are y'all? Who am I first of all?

"Princess Thara, are you ok?", Asked the young lady who was sitting on the floor.

Princess? Thara?

"I'm not. Tell everyone to get out.", I said. Everyone's stare was still at me.

"Get out!", I yelled and threw a vase on the floor.

I have anger issues..

"Let's give her some time to heal. Let's get out.", That handsome man told and everyone started getting out.

When the young woman was about to leave, I held her wrist. "Wait.."

"Princess Thara, you can ask me if you need anything..", she said.

"Sit.", I said tapping the bed requesting her to sit beside me. She did as I said.

"Who am I? Who are you? Who are everyone who were in here? Where am I?", I asked in one flow and her eyes were wide open in shock.

She was sniffing and was about to cry.

Why is she crying?

"Are you ok, Princess? You don't remember anything? You don't remember me?", She asked holding my hands in concern.

No one has ever showed me this much concern. Who is she?

"I don't remember. Please don't tell anyone. Now, tell me who am I.."

She wiped her tears and got ready to tell me.

"Your name is Thara. You're princess of this throne. Do you remember something now?"

Am not who you think to remember.. am someone apart from your princess.

"Who are you to me?"

I just want to know why someone's more concerned about me.

"My name is Adhira. Your personal maid.. don't you remember me. I'm serving you since you're 8 years old."

I can see the concern in her eyes for me. She's so loyal.

"Tell me everything about me and the ones who are related to me."

I know I can't go to future now. I need to be here and find the crown of the watch or probably make it in few days and leave soon.

"You're the princess of this throne. Your mother is a concubine. But, your father loved her a lot more than his main consort. This throne only have one prince, Tamizh. He's your biological brother. Meanwhile, there's another princess for this throne, Aarthi. She always finds a way to tease you and bully you. I hate her."

Ohh.. there's also polygamy here.

"What about the handsome man who was standing her few moments ago?", I asked because my mind was revolving around his musculine figure that any girl would fall.

"He's the prince of out neighbour kingdome which is bigger than ours. His name is Arjun. Aarthi and Arjun love each other and gonna marry soon."

Umm.. congrats bruh.

"Do I have any boyfriend here?", I asked and she frowned in confusion.

"I mean, do I love someone?", I asked and she nodded.

"Who?"

"Elder brother of Prince Arjun, Ezhil."

"Since when I'm loving him?"

"Since you rejected Prince Arjun's love proposal."

Arjun's love proposal?

"Tell me about it briefly..", I requested and she nodded.

"When you were 14, Prince Arjun proposed you. When you rejected, he became worried. You accepted Ezhil's proposal as you already had a crush on him. Aarthi saw this as an opportunity to make Arjun love her. That's it."

I was angry at Thara for rejecting Arjun's love. He was devilishly handsome, sis!

I just heard them say I was about to fall from the mountain. Who saved me?

"Who saved me?", I asked her.

"Prince Arjun.", She said which made me hold my temples.

Thara!!!! You missed someone like this!

I saw the dress which I was wearing. It was an heavy work dress with an awesome necklace. I'm rich now..?

It was splendid.

I love this dress. But, I'm also scared that I'm stuck in this timeline. I don't know whether I'll go back to my own timeline or now.

"Get me some water, please. I'm so tired.", I said resting back my head on the silk pillow.

She hurried up and got water for me as I drank it fully.

"You want to sleep for sometimes?", She asked.

I can't sleep when I'm tensed about something..

"No. Can you take me to my... Father?"

She nodded. I got up and followed her. I have no other way than staying here for few days. Because the crown of the watch is lost. I can't do anything without it.

The palace was huge and luxurious. It's the first time in my life seeing luxurious as something like this.

Suddenly a man ran into me panicked and nervous. He stopped in his tracks looking at my face. He cupped my face and joined our foreheads.

"Who's this?", I mumbled to Adhira.

"Ezhil", she mouthed.

Ohh.. he's her lover. I was looking at his face to find anything better than Arjun that why Thara selected him.

He's not handsome as Arjun. But, he's caring. I'm not gonna lie about that.

"Are you ok, Angel? I was a lot worried about you!", He said while looking at my eyes.

"Umm... I'm.. I'm.. ok. Don't worry.", I said as he sighed in relief.

I didn't tell anything further and made my way further. Adhira took me to the king, who is now my father.

He was scolding a woman around my age. I looked at Adhira who mouthed me, "Aarthi."

So, this is the woman who used to tease Thara all the time. Let's see if she can tease me.

"Your sister's life was at stake because of you. How dare you do that!? I will chase away your mom and dad if it repeats again! Got it?", He yelled and she flinched. She nodded while shivering.

"Forgive her only once. She will not repeat this mistake again. She shouldn't have had a fight with Thara on the hill top. But, you forgot that I was the one who saved her. So, please give her last chance for me.", It was Arjun who spoke now.

Woww. His deep musculine voice!!

I slapped myself not to think about that again. He's going to marry Aarthi soon!

"I'm leaving you only once, Aarthi. Don't you dare to repeat it again.", Dad warned and waved her off gesturing her to leave.

Arjun glanced at me for the last time and turned back to leave with crying Aarthi.

His expression softened seeing me. There was also another woman along with him apart from mom who I guess is main consort.

"You're feeling okay right?", He asked softly with concern in his face.

"Yes, father.", I said as he nodded slightly with a warm smile.

"Your sister will apologize to you soon.", He said in which I nodded.

I felt someone circle their hands around my shoulder. I turned back and saw Ezhil beside me.

"She's perfectly ok. I will take care of her today.", He said which I'm not at all interested.

Please no, dude.

"It's ok.. umm.. Ezhil. I will take care.", I said trying to avoid him.

The main consort got up from her seat gritting her teeth at me.

"I'm leaving to my room. She's just a princess as my daughter Aarthi. Why everyone are only at her side. Aarthi did right by pushing her from the hill. What else she's supposed to do when her father gives equal right for a concubine's daughter as her.", The main consort left saying that.

Honestly, it drove dad crazy. She's poisonous as snake. Like mom like daughter.

"Don't put her words to your heart. You know she's always like this right?", Ezhil said who was still having his hands over my shoulder.

Please leave my shoulder, bruh! I feel uneasy.

"I won't.", I said giving a fake smile.

"Where's my.. umm.. mother?", I asked dad.

"She's in the kitchen cooking for you.", He said smiling. I smiled back.

Why everyone are so concerned about me. Everyone are loving me unlike me in 2022. I have money unlike in 2022. I am a princess of a throne and people unlike in 2022.

Life sucked for me until now.

We were in dinning table eating together. Arjun and Aarthi were present too. I felt continuous gaze of Arjun and Ezhil which made me awfully uneasy.

The traditional food is not tasty as fast food. But, it tastes ok. There are mnay dishes I don't know. I never thought some day like now will come.

On the other hand, I saw Adhira with other workers serving food for everyone. She was so concerned about me. Concerned about everyone. I've never seen someone so innocent as her.

"Adhira", I called her out.

"Yes, Princess."

"Sit and eat beside me.", I said which caught everyone's attention. They all looked at me at the same time.

Did I do any crime? Will I be tortured in a torture chamber!?

"Why everyone are staring at her. It's her wish to invite someone to eat along with her.", Arjun supported me which made me like him more.

"I won't allow maids who wash our feet sit along with me and eat the food which is to be served to only royal families!", Aarthi snapped.
