Surprise, early update :D

(The Date: Part One of Two)

Soobin paced inside his house anxiously, it was finally Saturday and he was beyond nervous about this date. He had dressed up by layering a longsleeved white shirt under a baby blue short sleeved shirt, and tucked it into dark jeans. He stood in the mirror constantly adjusting his hair and would have stayed their longer had Solhwa not yelled, "Get the fuck out of the house if you don't want to be late on your own date Soobin!"

After Yeonjun accepted the date, he kissed Soobin on the cheek and had left Soobin floating for the rest of the week.

Needless to say, Soobin really wanted the date to go very very well. He even decided to think outside of the box when it came to their activities for the whole day.

So around 1:30, Soobin pulled his car into Kai's driveway to wait on the male who exited the house looking almost impossibly cuter and almost as excitedly nervous as Soobin.

Yeonjun had dressed himself in high waisted shorts with a pastel yellow crewneck that was long at the sleeves.

He was about to run down the steps and greet Soobin with a hug when Kai grabbed his arm and stopped him short.

He pointed at Soobin, beckoning him out of the car. Soobin complied and joined him at the foot of the stairs that led to the front door.

"Yes?" Soobin asked, kind of irritated that someone was now in between his date with Yeonjun.

"Don't stay out too late, and don't leave him behind anywhere you go. I'm warning you, if you break his heart again, I won't hesitate to-" Yeonjun smacked the back of Kai's head and giggled.

"I'll be fine Kai. Tell Jeongin I'm on a date if he asks where I am."

Kai huffed and nodded.

Yeonjun gave him a hug and waved as he followed Soobin to the car.

He was about to open the door for himself but Soobin put his hand in front of the handle to stop the male from touching it.

"Allow me." Soobin spoke while opening the door for Yeonjun, allowing the male to get in before he closed it behind Yeonjun.

Yeonjun just blushed and buckled his seatbelt as Soobin got in next to him, while buckling his own seatbelt.

Soon, both males found themselves on the road with a comfortable silence between them.

"So.. where are we going?"

"Well.. there's actually a few places we're going. I think you'll enjoy it though."

Soobin reached his hand over and grabbed Yeonjun's free hand over the console, interlacing their fingers and kissing Yeonjun's knuckles before squeezing Yeonjun's hand lightly causing Yeonjun to blush.

"Jeez Soobin, be careful."

"Hm? Or what?" Soobin smirked.

"I'll fall for you." Yeonjun deadpanned.

Soobin's eyes widened, and he wanted to look at Yeonjun to see if he was joking or not but he didn't want to divert his eyes from the road. So instead, he just settled for squeezing the steering wheel harder than before.

"What?" Soobin asked in a breathy voice.

Yeonjun just giggled, turning on the radio and looking out the window as Soobin continued to drive, really wanting Yeonjun to not have been joking.

Finally they arrived at their destination.

"Mini-Golf?" Yeonjun asked with a tinge of excitement in his voice. He clapped his hands happily and allowed Soobin to open the door for him.

"Yup. Just me and you and the holes." Soobin said with a bright smile on his face as he shut the car door behind Yeonjun and locked it. Tucking his keys in his pocket and wrapping a hand around Yeonjun's lower waist.

Yeonjun wouldn't admit it to Soobin, but he loved when Soobin became all domestic with him, hugging him, kissing his hands, and opening the doors. So of course, he was a blushing mess when Soobin did this oh-so casually.

"Two adult clubs and a bucket of golf balls." Soobin spoke with ease to the employee. Yeonjun bit his lip, how was Soobin such a people person? He didn't even stutter once.

The employee gave them their things and Soobin handed Yeonjun the other club, smiling at hime softly before walking them to the first hole.

"You can go first." Soobin picked up a bright pink golf ball and handed it to the male who blushed and took it. With just one swing the ball rolled around the hill and landed into the hole. Yeonjun turned around to look at Soobin with a smile on his face, clapping at his own success.

Soobin laughed at Yeonjun's reaction and went to take his own turn, doing just as well as the male.

"Can we do that one next? It has a windmill!"

"Baby, we have to go in order."

Yeonjun pouted while blushing from being called baby, and Soobin gave in.

Two hours later, the time had reached 4 in the evening and the mini-golf place was closing.

Yeonjun had beat Soobin, getting the ball in the hole with the least amount of hits.

"Soobin did you see?" Yeonjun asked excitedly as he went to retrieve the ball from the hole, skipping over to Soobin.

"I saw it pumpkin." Soobin chuckled and put the ball in the bucket and walking up to Yeonjun so he could put his golf ball in as well.

Yeonjun blushed at the pet name and allowed Soobin to kiss him on the cheek.

They returned their materials and held hands on the way back to Soobin's car.

"Where do we go now?" Yeonjun asked, not ready for their date to end.

"Are you hungry?" Soobin asked with a smirk.
