Yeonjun slung his bag over his shoulder as he exited his last class before lunch.

After he found out about Kai punching Soobin, he's had slightly salty feelings about Kai for reasons unbeknownst to even himself.

And so, Yeonjun decided that he would eat by himself just for today.

Well.. he was about to eat by himself.

"Yeonjun!" A somewhat familiar voice called out for the tired male.

The male turned around in the hallway, looking around somewhat frantically through the sea of unrecognizable faces in his school. "Y-Yeonjun!"

Finally, Yeonjun's gaze rested on two males. He made eye contact with one of them and rolled his eyes prepared to walk away when he grabbed Yeonjun's arm. Yeonjun's face contorted into one of anger as he pulled his arm away and glared at the male.

"Don't fucking touch m-"

"Please. Can we talk?" Seungmin asked.

"We can't. This is the only free lunch time I have."

"Uh.. th-then after school-"

"Seungmin. Can you get the hint? I don't want to talk to you about anything. There's nothing for us to talk about at all. How about you let it go, mh? You're forgiven alright? Isn't that what you two wanted to hear? So you could clear your guilty consciences?" Yeonjun tilted his head mockingly and looked at the boys menacingly.

"No bu-"

"Bye." Yeonjun turned on his heel and practically strutted into the cafeteria. Head held high as he left the two boys behind.

He grabbed his food and made his way outside to the courtyard, prepared to enjoy alone time when Soobin walked up to him from behind stealthily.

"Yeonjun?" Soobin asked suddenly. Breaking the silence that Yeonjun was enjoying.

Yeonjun jumped and almost dropped his food. He turned around and looked up, seeing Soobin and glaring at the male harshly.

"What?" Yeonjun deadpanned as Soobin walked to stand in front of the male.

"Why are you out here alone?"

"Why do you care?"

"Obviously it's because I like you."

Yeonjun blushed at Soobin's bluntness and looked away.

"Whatever." Yeonjun murmured after taking a large bite of the pizza crust.

"So..." Soobin looked down at Yeonjun expectantly.

"What is it Soobin?"

"Can I sit here with you?"

"And why would you do that?"

"Because I li-"

"Okay okay, just sit the fuck down, you're embarrassing me."

"Sorry." Soobin apologized before sitting down on the grass next to the male and opening a carton of banana milk for himself.

"So.. um.. where's your boyfriend..? " Soobin asked cautiously, not making eye contact with his crush out of nervousness.

"He's not-" Suddenly a soccer ball headed towards their direction, Yeonjun flinched and tried to protect himself with his arms, but it wasn't necessary because Soobin caught the ball mid air.

Soobin sent a glare back in the direction of where it came from. Yeonjun opened his eyes to find that he was unscathed and groaned.

"I've been trying to say this for a while now, but Soobin.. Kai is not my boyfriend."

Soobin turned to him in shock and dropped the milk carton, a straw in his mouth until he took it out. "Seriously?"

"Yes."

"Like.. really really serious?"

"Yes Soobin. Kai is dating Jeongin."

It took everything for Soobin to not stand up and start dancing around like crazy. Instead the male crawled into all fours and moved closer to Yeonjun.

"D-does that mean I have a greater chance with you?"

"We'll see." Yeonjun blushed.

"This is great. Okay! I-I can wait for you!"

Yeonjun looked at Soobin who appeared to be bursting with happiness at the seams. He shook his head and laughed before reaching out and ruffling Soobin's hair, just to tease the male.

He was about to pull his hand away when Soobin grabbed it and kissed his knuckles.

"I'm going to get you to like me back Yeonjun." Soobin stood up, brushing off his pants before running back inside, probably to tell his friends the good news.

Yeonjun just giggled and picked up after himself to get back to class.
