Soobin bit his lip anxiously as he looked at Yeonjun who stared right back at him with a straight face. 

"So.. uh.. wait-"

"Soobin. Can you please just tell me why I saw you limping into the cafeteria?"

"Well basically.."

Soobin paced outside the front of Yeonjun's class. He wanted to talk to the male and ask him if the day had been going good so far. 

Soobin you idiot, why would he talk to you? Grade A dumbass. And now you like him? Fucking idiot he'll never-

"What are you doing here?" Soobin let go of his hair and stopped staring at the floor long enough to look up and see Kai standing in front of him with crossed arms and a glare on his face.

"W-what do you mean?"

"Why are you standing here? In front of this classroom?"

"Can't I stand where I want?"

"Of course you can.. but this is Yeonjunnie's class. You know? The guy you screwed and dumped after a few days because of a bet? Which was very stupid might I add. Because he was very heartbroken." Kai frowned before mumbling to himself, "He still his."

Of course, Soobin didn't hear that. How could he focus enough to listen when Kai looked like he wanted to personally kill Soobin with his own bare hands. 

"Th-that's just a coincidence. I-"

Kai looked around the hallway before grabbing Soobin by the collar of his shirt and pushing him against the wall.

"This won't be a coincidence." He punched Soobin in the stomach, hard. 

Like, hard enough to bruise. 

Soobin groaned in pain and managed to pull Kai's other hand off of his collar,"What the fuck?!"

"You're going to stay the fuck away from Yeonjun. He shouldn't be upset over an asshole like you."

"I just wanted to ask him one last thing!" Soobin managed to squeak out between breaths. That punch really knocked the air out of him.

"Don't ask him shit!" Soobin dodged Kai's second punch which resulted in Kai slamming his knuckles against the cold tiles of the school building. 

"Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck-" Kai groaned, holding his fist to his stomach as he glared at Soobin. "Just because I'm injured doesn't mean I won't find other ways to beat your ass. Lay off." Kai held his fist in his hand as he made his way to the nurse muttering profanities.

Soobin clutched his stomach as he sank to the floor. By now Yeonjun's class ended, he watched as a short male looped his arm around Yeonjun's own arm and smiled at him.

Yeonjun on the other hand looked tired with a cute pout on his face like he just woke up.

Soobin frowned and once again, felt like kicking himself for fucking up what he and Yeonjun could have had if he just kept his mouth shut and acted like a decent human being.

"God damnit." Soobin groaned before standing slowly and making his own way to lunch.

He sat down at his table and made eye contact with Yeonjun across the room. 

He felt like yelling, "Yeah I got punched, just for you! And I'd do it again because I really like you!" But of course, Soobin was a coward.

He could see the concern on Yeonjun's face and was about to get up and talk to him when he saw Kai walk over.

He must have been concerned about Kai's hand.. of course.. they're dating..

Soobin sighed dejectedly and realized that his entire lunch table was staring at him. "Uh.. what?"

"Did you just.. sigh dejectedly?" Minho asked with a hint of disgust.

"Maybe?"

"Guys I'm calling it now, he's probably upset about Yeonjun." Changbin spoke.

"What? N- Yes. Yes I am."

"Also are we going to ignore the fact that Soobin managed to get everyone to stop bothering Yeonjun. Like, everyone?" Han asked.

"He's always been a popular brat." Felix mumbled from on top of Changbin's lap.

"Yeah I'm not really surprised." Chenle chirped and Jisung pinched his boyfriend's cute chubby cheek.

"Also are you okay?" Felix asked with concern, "You're clutching your stomach."

"Yeah I'm fine. I just got punched by Yeonjun's boyfriend telling me to 'lay off' of Yeonjun or whatever."

The entire table looked at him with shock written on their faces.

"What?" Soobin asked confusedly.

"Dude." Minho deadpanned.

Soobin just shrugged,"I won't though. Not until I can tell Yeonjun how I truly feel."

"You're crazy." Jisung shook his head.

Soobin just shrugged again.

"Yeah that's what happened."

"Kai punched you?" Yeonjun frowned. He couldn't imagine Kai hurting a fly. I mean, he could hear Kai hurting Jeongin's ass bu-

"No biggie though, the bruise will be gone soon."

"C-Can I see?" Yeonjun asked curiously.

"U-uh.. sure.." Soobin lifted up his shirt slowly and Yeonjun leaned closer to look.

And then the door opened and Solhwa stepped into the room assessing the positions of the males.
