《Secrets Kept》Someone to Trust

"Yes, well. I also have the same.. anomaly. I can also carry babies. In fact, Kongpob and I have a son together as well as 2 more on the way now." Arthit said, placing his hand on his extended belly.
"Well, then congratulations." Wad said, allowing himself to relax. He was obviously happy that these two people weren't going to judge him for his difference.
"Thank you. Congrats to you both as well. When are you due?" Kongpob asked.
"June 8th. What about you?" Wad said unknowingly.
"Umm.. Prem? Didn't we tell you when our babies were due?" Arthit asked, his eyes wide. Prem shook him head.
"Not that I can remember, but at the time I found out about you, I was still reeling from learning about Wad and our baby. He found out when he was already 8 weeks and he didn't know how to tell me. So a week before you told us, I found out that I was going to be a father. Why? When are you due?"
"June 8th. So, I take it that means your baby was made the same time ours were." Kong said, after glancing at Arthit, who was trying really hard not to turn red at the topic.
"Wow, what a coincidence. I mean, a lot of us got drunk that night, so, I guess it's not that surprising. What are the chances?" Prem asked, not expecting an answer.
"So that means the reason you were at the doctor's office today was your 13th week check up, right?" Arthit stated.
"Yes."
"Don't take this in a bad way, but I'm so glad there is someone else going through this with me." Arthit smiled at Wad. The younger man smiled back.
"So you're 13 weeks along? With one, I assume. You're not showing at all from what I can see. I mean, P'Arthit didn't start really showing with Fiat until 18 weeks, but there was still a small bump before then." Kongpob stated.
"Yes, well. The doctor said that some people don't show at all during their whole pregnancy, so we never know. I mean, it is a good thing that I'm not showing, so that I can keep it a secret longer."
"Of course. I remember that it was really hard to hide my belly when I was expecting Fiat. Have you told anyone else?"
"Not yet. I'm not really sure how to tell my mom and my dad isn't in the picture. I think mom will be happy about this, though. She is usually the type of person to let me be myself."

"That's good then. When we were expecting Fiat, we didn't tell anyone before he was born. It was only after that we needed to say something. My parents didn't know how to react as I had never told them that I was dating anyone. And they only recently learned that I was the one to carry Fiat, not my partner. But they were happy to have their grandchild to take care of." Arthit explained.
"We haven't told them about these two yet, but we plan to today." Kongpob glanced down at his watch. "Speaking of, we need to get going. We told them we would meet them at 1 for lunch."
Wad nodded. "Good luck."
"Thanks. And if you need anything or have any questions that I may be able to answer, feel free to call." Arthit offered, looking at Wad then Prem. They both nodded before Arthit and Kongpob left.
********
The two arrived at Kongpob's parent's house just before 1. They walked into the house to see Fiat running around the front room area giggling as Arthit's mom chase after him. The little boy had learned how to run a few weeks before and hadn't stopped since.
The little boy spotted the two in the doorway and changed course, running to Arthit.
"Mama, dada!!"
Swinging him up into the air, Arthit laughed as his baby giggled and landed safely back in him arms.
"Hi, baby! Have you been good for your grandmas and grandpas?" He asked giving him a hug before Kongpob took the boy from him. Glancing up, Arthit saw the Kong was giving him a warning look.
Quickly realizing that he wasn't supposed to be lifting so much extra weight, Arthit grimaced. He hated the restrictions, but knew it was for the safety of the babies.
Smiling at the couple, Arthit's mom stopped in front of Arthit.
"How are you two? School going alright?" She asked as they all moved into the dining room.
Kong saw his dad and Arthit's dad sitting at on one side of the table talking. When they entered the room, the talking stopped in favor of both men standing to greet their sons.
"School is going just fine, mom, and before you ask, yes, I am eating just fine. Not missing meals or only eating out. Kongpob won't let me. Even though he isn't a very good cook." Arthit couldn't help poke fun at his boyfriend, who ignored it in favor of tickling Fiat.
They all moved to sit at the table as Kongpob's mom entered the room. She walked over to Kongpob and Arthit to give the both shoulder pats.

"Lunch is ready". said a helper at the kitchen door. Kong's mom nodded and moved to her seat. Arthit and Kongpob walked over to Fiat's high chair top put the boy in it. After buckling him in, they both sat down on one side with Kong closest to the boy.
The room was silent as the plates of food were placed on the table by the staff.
The first time Arthiy had eaten with Kongpob's parents in this way, he didn't really known how to act so he had been very uncomfortable. This was a lot more formal then meals were at his parent's house. His mom would cook everything and his dad would put everything on the table. However, now he had eaten with them several time, so he was able to relax and just enjoy the food and company.
Looking around, Arthit smiled at seeing their parents taking and getting along so well. That had been one fear he had before he and Kongpob had told their parents about them dating.
"Arthit, why didn't you take off your coat at the door? It's really warm in here." Kongpob's mom asked as she took a bite of the food on her plate.
Arthit glanced at Kongpob, who nodded.
'I guess it's time. Here we go.' Arthit thought before standing to remove his coat. He saw Kongpob take out the ultrasound under the table as he waited for someone to notice and say something.
A staff member approached the table to take the coat. Arthit watched as she glanced down at his stomach and then look up at him in surprise. Arthit assumed Kong's family had informed the staff of his anomaly, so he smiled at the woman.
With a bow of her head, the woman hurried out of the room with his coat.
Turning back to the table, Arthit went to sit back down but before he could, his mother let out a gasp.
"Arthit!"
"Yes, ma?" He replied, looking up at her instead of sitting. Shock and surprise were apparent on her face as she looked at his distended abdomen.
"Is there something you want to tell us?" She asked. This made the 3 others in the room look over at Arthit.
Arthit smirked, "There might be something. Why? Do I look different?" He turned to the side with one hand on his belly. As he did this, Kongpob held up the ultrasound.
They had chosen to show the ultrasound with only one of the babies in it so they could surprise their parents again after having the babies.
The room was silent for half a second before both mothers said "Oh my god!!" And stood up to come around the table.
They both paused with their hands out, waiting for permission to touch his belly, which he gave by nodding.
"Oh! My baby is having another baby!" Arthit's mom exclaimed before drawing him into a hug.
Kongpob's mom walked over to her son to give him a hug as well. "How far along is he? When did you find out? Was this on accident or on purpose?" She kept asking questions, so neither could answer them. Her berage of questions stopped when the boy's dad's came over to join their wives.
"Okay. Explain this? Please?" Kong's dad said, putting an arm around his wife.
Kong joined everyone else in standing before answering.
"Well, first of all, this was not on purpose. But that doesn't mean that we aren't excited about the baby." He prefaced before telling them the vague story of how this all happened. When they found out that Arthit was 13 weeks along, Arthit's mom looked at her son, wide-eyed.
"Wow. You're big for being 13 weeks. Did the doctor say anything about why you're so big?"
"He said that it wasn't anything to worry about. Every pregnancy is different even with the same partners. I may be carrying bigger because of more fluid or a bigger placenta. He is keeping an eye on everything, so don't worry. If anything goes wrong, one of us will let you all know."
Kongpob nodded his agreement as his mom took the ultrasound from him so she could get a closer look at it.
"Aww. Look at him. He looks like he is sucking his thumb. Now that you're having baby 2, what are you wanting?" She asked, looking back up at the two expecting parents.
A/N: Hello. Yes, I'm still alive and still writing this story. I am taking time to write my own book along with this one and 2 other fanfictions, so it's taking longer now. But once I finish one of the other ffs, it won't take as long.
Anyway, I hope you liked the chapter!! I made sure to make it longer than normal.
Stay safe, everyone!!
