《The Bad Boy And The Jock [BoyxBoy]》5 - Problem For Future Isaac

Benji's house was by far the weirdest house Isaac had ever been in. It made sense if you met his parents, they were the ultimate hippies. They were vegan before it was cool. Benji was probably equally as hippie as them if by hippie you meant always high. Benji's room was bright orange, it was awful, and it hurt to look at, but at the same time it was the most Benji thing ever. He had a king sized bed against one wall with bright blue sheets and a small brown sofa leaning against it with two purple beanbags opposite. He was a spoilt hippie if that was even a thing. Isaac guessed it was.
Kaya was sitting in one of the purple beanbags playing with a stuffed parrot that Isaac hoped belonged to Benji's ten year old sister but knowing Benji it was probably his. Kaya's dark brown hair was straightened to perfection, not one hair out of place. Her bright blue eyes sparkled behind her thick rimmed glasses. She was wearing a black skirt and a white button up tucked into it and over that was a light grey cardigan.
If you were to look at Isaac's group of best friends, Kaya would be the one who would stand out even though she is the one that fits in most with societal standards of fashion. Benji on the other hand was the complete opposite. His wardrobe consisted of large over-sized jumpers with holes in them and baggy jogging bottoms. His dread were usually tied up. Despite, Benji's unfortunate taste in fashion, he was crazy attractive, so was Kaya.
"So, Alice was asking about you today. Again." Kaya not so subtlety hinted to Benji, who was sitting on his windowsill smoking a joint.
"Hey, hey, hey. I told you, I don't care what this Alice chick thinks of me, I'm on a path to self-discovery." Benji answered dreamily. Such a weird kid.
"More like a path to discover weed." Isaac muttered under his breath, Kaya heard and sent him a knowing look, "Who's Alice and why is she asking about out darling Benjamin."
Kaya lit up when Isaac asked that. You see Kaya likes to play matchmaker because of her epic failed attempt of a love life and a crush that she never acted on, so she liked to pair people up together. She had done it to everyone she knew, some had been successful, other not so much. But, you had to admire her persistence. Did Isaac mention the crush was on Benji, who totally thought she was in love with Freddy? And that Benji tried his best not to be jealous? It was tragic, really.

"Alice is a lovely smart girl, who happens to think Benji's philosophical bullshit is adorable and I think he would really like her if he just gave her a chance." Kaya explained using big hand gestures showing her frustration with Benji. Not that Isaac could blame, he too had try to avoid Kaya and her matchmaking.
"You know when she says smart, she means nerd and she forgot to mention that they met during school council. You know what that means. Up-tight posh bitch just look at Kaya." Benji muttered, turning his attention to Isaac as if he was saying can you believe his bitch. Kaya threw the parrot in her hands at Benji. Benji sent her a sarcastic smile.
"Is she hot?" Isaac asked Alice, not taking his eyes off Benji who had a joint in one hand and a parrot in the other, staring out the window. Kaya nodded before fishing out her phone from her bag, she tapped at it before she threw it over to Isaac. On the screen was Alice's Instagram, "Damn dude, she is hot. Not as hot a Kaya though, but still hot."
Kaya flushed at Isaac's comment as Benji's head snapped to face Isaac, "Dude, I thought you were gay?"
"I am gay, doesn't mean I can't appreciate a hot chick when I see one." Isaac told him.
Sighing, Benji put out his joint on the windowsill then walking over to Isaac. He grabbed Kaya's phone out of Isaac's hand looking at Alice's Instagram. He scrolled through the page, he looked over at Kaya then back to the phone, he the phone back to Kaya. Kaya looked expectantly at Benji, as if she was waiting for Benji to ask her to hook him up with her.
"She's hot but still no." Benji told her, going back over to sit on the windowsill. Kaya went to argue with him, but he cut her off, "I'll talk to Alice when you tell Caggie that you are in love with Freddy."
"Low blow due, Caggie would kill her." Isaac laughed, looking between Benji, who sat there smug, and Kaya, who had her arms crossed over her chest.
"How many times do I have to tell you, I don't like Freddy." Kaya said with an edge to her voice.
Benji snorted at her, he looked at Isaac to back him up. Isaac really didn't want to get involved in this shitstorm.

"Benj, do you really want Kaya and Freds together? Imagine the self-righteous from the two of them." Isaac told Benji, hoping to get him to back up off the subject. Kaya sent Isaac a small smile.
Benji thought about it for a second, "You're right. I forbid you to like Freddy."
Kaya pulled a face, not liking that Benji was telling her to do something, but Isaac could see the relief oozing out of her. Isaac knew she hated the fact that she liked Benji, it went against everything Kaya stood for. Isaac knew she hated that Benji thought she liked Freddy more. It didn't help that Benji liked to throw the Freddy thing in Kaya's face every chance he got.
"Now that we've successfully got over that. Can we please talk about you and Jake?" Kaya asked Isaac, causing Benji to look over at Isaac as well.
"Yeah, what about you and the jock?" Benji asked curiously.
"There's not much to say." Isaac answered them, wanting to avoid this conversation, because if he told them something, Isaac would be interrogated by everyone tomorrow and this is something Isaac really didn't want to deal with. Isaac just wanted his relationship with Jake, if you could even call it that at this point, to just be between the two of them. For now.
"Kay, do you think our dear friend is lying to us?" Benji asked Kaya, moving over to the beanbag she was sitting on and sat down next to her. He flung his arm over her shoulder, sending her a wink when she looked at him knowingly.
"Why, yes B, I do think our dear friend Isaac is lying to us." Both of them turned their attention from each other to Isaac. I knew he wasn't getting out of this one.
"For fuck sakes." Isaac muttered under his breath, "Fine. I think I might like the guy." Isaac mumbled not looking at them.
"Holy shit dude! You like him, Kaya did you hear that? Our boy has a crush!" Benji freaked out happily.
Kaya smiled encouragingly at Isaac, "Okay, that's good, tell us details."
"We've hung out a few times, he's a nice guy. He's seen some of my complicated shit and didn't run away. He save my arse twice now, Jake is such a chill guy and not to mention he's really fucking hot." Isaac rambled about Jake, Isaac could feel himself smiling. Isaac looked over at Benji and Kaya when Isaac had finished. Kaya was grinning at him whilst Benji had an eyebrow raised.
"Dude, you are so whipped." Benji exclaimed, making a whipping action and noise after he had said that.
"Fuck off, I am not whipped. I hardly know the guy." Isaac retorted. Isaac Houton do not get whipped over anyone. Not even hot half-Spanish guy who like to make with him after they find out he steals cars and gets beat up a lot.
"Okay, so you don't know him well, you want to get to know him. Then once you do know him well, Benji can get out the whip because you'd be so fucking whipped it'd be unreal. Right now, you've been speaking about him for like two minutes and you've already got that love sick smile on your face." Kaya told Isaac softly.
Isaac guessed she was right. Goddamn, Isaac hated when Kaya was right. It was so fucking annoying. Isaac knew if he did get to know Jake in the future, he knew he would fall hard for him. Isaac didn't know why he felt such a strange attraction to him, something about him just drew Isaac to him. Part of Isaac thought that it was because Jake was just to hot and that he was lusting after him. Another part of him, thought he should stop overthinking it and go with the flow.
Isaac decided that he should hang out with Jake properly, just the two of them. Then Isaac could get to know him better and once he got to know Jake, Isaac would know how he really felt about him and whether it was right. If Isaac did really like him, which scared him a bit, he would have to learn to trust Jake. It was hard for Isaac with his deadbeat parents. Isaac would figure it out, not right now. It would be a future problem for future Isaac.
