Rhydian, Sierra, Tom and Shannon were all eagerly waiting for Dacia to return in her expensive car, with the Smith family in tow.
Then the car finally pulled up to him and they were all smiling only then to realize that Maddy and her family, the Smiths weren't there.
"Where is she?" Rhydian shouted.
"Where are they?!" Sierra accused Dacia sharply and Dacia shakes her head.
"Maddy and her parents, they have already left the country. Canada, by a cargo ship. They'll have new identities when they get there." Dacia states and Sierra looks like she was gonna pass out at any second.
"Call the ship. You can still get them back!" Rhydian said and Dacia shook her head, and Sierra's hands, were all veining up now.
"It's too late." Dacia whispered and Sierra shook her head at Dacia, as she shoves her hands into her pockets in a attempt to hold off her wolf and bring herself together.
"You said you could help!" Tom accused sharply of Dacia and the other, older wolfblood looked at them all.
"I said that I would try." Dacia shot back calmly.
"There must be something, anything that we can do. There has to be some sort of plan, that we haven't tried!" It was Shannon, who now seemed close to tears.
"There is. I'm going after them. Sierra, come on!" Rhydian shouts and them, a second later, the two of them ran off.
"What, to Canada?" Tom asked shocked by the very idea of the stupid plan.
"You can't just go to Canada!" Dacia shouted and Sierra shakes her head at Rhydian, but he was so wound up that there wasn't room for any reasoning.
"Watch me!" Rhydian roars back to them as he took off, and Sierra went on a warpath to try to stop him, with reasoning and common sense as only a wolfblood could.

"Rhydian!" Shannon begged him, but he wasn't listening anymore to any of them.
Sierra climbed quickly into the Vaughns house through his window and she grabbed him by the arm.
"You can't seriously do this. You're gonna have to search through all of Canada and without me, you'll be all done within a week and never find a trace of her." Sierra was saying to him as he walked.
"Then come with me! You're over the age, you've got money!" He shouted at her and she lowered her head and she shook her head.
"Maddy wouldn't want us to run off on our own, leave Tom and Shannon on their own. They are our pack. Our family." Sierra reasoned and he looks at her.
"You're a wolfblood! We belong with our own kind, not with a pack of two humans, don't you get that?!" He yells and she lowers her head at his words.
"I'll get you to the border, but from there, you are on your own, Rhydian, I need to stay here. That's my word on it." She insists and he nods swiftly and she shook his hand, before they race off together into the woods.
Then suddenly they were facing off with Aran and Meinir, as they looked at each other.
Rhydian and Sierra ran after the twins, finding Jana and Ceri there and Jana had been shot.
"There was a traveler, on our territory, he came after us with a gun and his children. Jana took wolf form, to lead them away but she got shot."
Aran says quietly and Sierra's eyes glowed blue at the mention of a gun in the hands of someone.
"Bring her in here. Put her on the sofa, there!" Rhydian said, motioning towards the sofa, and Sierra calmly shows the wild wolfbloods where it was, despite the fear being obvious on her face.

"I thought it would heal. I have the remedies to prevent infection." Ceri sounded like she was gonna start all out crying.
"What about the tame wolves... will they help?" Aran asked as Sierra looks at Aran, then at Rhydian with fear in wide blue eyes.
"You didn't tell them?" Sierra accused and Rhydian threw his arms up and a growl came from the both of them.
"They're not here anymore." Rhydian mumbled quietly, which was loudly to any wolfblood in the area.
"What?" Ceri asked, shocked to hear it, especially from two of the tame of packs.
"Dr. Whitewood found out about them. They're on their way to Canada now." Rhydian said.
"What is 'Canada'?" Ceri shouted at them all, desperation leaking out of her and making the room stink of it.
"What does it matter?" Meinir snarls at Ceri as she jumped into the talking in the typical fashion of her. "You said that they'd be here to help and they're not!" Meinir roared.
"How long... has Maddy and her family, been gone?" Jana asked them all quite calmly considering the whole situation that they were now all in.. at the moment.
"They left the week after you did." She groaned as Sierra shut the door and in her haste, she knocked over a lamp as a loud crash shook the house.
She crouched next to Jana and she shakes her head. "So we brought our alpha for nothing?" Meinir asked and Jana grabs for Rhydian's hand in hers.
"No, Rhydian can help. Can't you?" The eyes of the wild healer, Ceri's eyes, as well as Jana's and everyone else's were all desperate now.
"I know someone who can." Sierra says and pulled out her phone quickly and Jana looked at her.
"Who?" She asked and Sierra snorts slightly and quietly as she dialed one of the phone numbers, that she never expected to use again.
"It will help." Sierra says quietly as she typed out messages for Tom and Shannon.
The twins almost attack Tom and Shannon, but backed off at once from a howl from Sierra, who snarled at the two, sounding more like an alpha then a beta, but she didn't miss a beat as she dragged the two inside.

The Dao of Magic
Here I am, sitting on a mountain so far away from civilisation it might as well be the godforsaken arse of the world, about to ascend. Can't wait to leave this crapfest of a planet... Turns out that the higher ups decided that an unaffiliated rogue like me is too big of a risk to let run around free. Seems like this entire cultivation world is a late stage capitalist money making machine for the powers that be in the higher realms, and me stealing the good loot in front of their descendants and sect disciples noses finally pissed them off enough to take action. First, they sent all the sect masters and hidden dao protectors to off me - which failed, obviously. Heh, afterwards they simply bitch slapped me out of their universe though. That is interesting and all, but I just woke up in a valley watching some critters murder each other while trying not to freak out about how bad it smells here.Soo… where the fuck am I? Why is that deer fighting a feathery squirrel? Why am I teaching this baby rabbit saved from a cannibalistic mother how to kick beings in the face with the power of qi?Releases a couple of times a week! Athos is a good dog. He likes frisbee, bacon, and his family (SmolFriend, Mom, and Dad). He's not so keen on falling through an interdimensional portal to a fantasy world where floating boxes tell you that you've just been given status as the 'Supreme Exemplar' of your species, a powerful package of abilities that includes human-level intelligence. Sure, being smart is nice but less so when it comes with the need to survive in a land made from bits of different dimensions stitched together like patches in a quilt. A thousand species, a thousand lands, sorcery and super science rubbing elbows, wars and intrigue everywhere...it's exhausting for a good dog who just wants to go home! Note that this is a work in progress with lots of fiddly numbers so I will occasionally need to go back and fix errors, and this might affect events of earlier chapters. I'll try to keep this to a minimum and will post a note whenever it happens. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
8 470Goblin Artist
Cover Art by the talented SocS (https://www.royalroad.com/profile/84137) Even if I grow in strength and somehow avoid dying during a hunt or some moronic tribal war, how long can I really expect to live? Twenty years? Ten? Is this my fate? To struggle to survive every day, only to die after a dozen odd years? Rhys awakes to find himself trapped in the body of a young goblin. In his previous life he was a successful artist, but now he faces a strange new world reduced to the most pitiful of dungeon dwelling monsters and with no survival skills to aid him. His only hope comes from a single sentence he hears during the advancement ceremony: “Some attributes exceed the limits of the current race.” Now his goal isn’t just to survive. He will push through the boundaries of his species to evolve further. The path ahead is long and arduous. Especially for a young goblin trapped in a small dungeon of a dying town. In order to succeed, he will have to forge bonds with those around him and rise to the challenges waiting for him. But will stepping further into the path of a monster really bring him closer to regaining his lost humanity?

Yami Hikari company had created a new game gear called the Embyro that are split into two different gears: the first is the deep dive gear called ‘Sense' and the second is high tech glasses called ‘Alive.' One is made to transport the players mind to a virtual world, while the other is the next generation new technology that incorporates the reality with the game. A game where it test the limits of technology and human boundaries. What is real? What is fake? Who is right or wrong? What is the Seed? Is life just a game? Three different people's destinies are intertwined: One is on a mission, One wants change in life, and One wants to be left alone. Their story converges in a Virtual Reality MMO game called Growth. This is a story of Zero, Agnis, and BlackStar. Welcome to the Beginning of the End is a Beginning. Let the Song of Infinity ring again. (My name is Jane. 8 110Pillars Between Us
It started with the dent left by the Forest Sprite; A small crack in the ice that encased his memories. Curtis knew that something was off, realizing that he wasn’t who he thought he was and— perhaps Ellis wasn’t the one meant for him. --It's a fantasy novel set in a world where people inhabit on pillars-- (think of m*necaft sky block, you'll get what I mean) -- then give it a hint of action, mystery and (twisted) romance-- and it's influenced by Japanese fantasy light novels (cuz I read a lot of em'). But I'm sure it's a weird one cuz the style of writing isn't the Japanese to English translated kind of style but rather the orthodox English novel kind of writing (which includes a bunch of errors and broken English thanks to me!). In any case, if you're up for it, just beware the story starts out pretty slow.. I mean-- back then, I was still inexperienced ok! I'm gettin' better along the way, Hmmph!
