"All right, Percy, I'm heading out now!" Y/n stood up, straightened her clothes, and grinned at her older half-brother.

"Where are you going?" Percy looked at Y/n.

"Oh, um..." Y/n swallowed. "On a date. With Nico."

"Nico... as in, Nico di Angelo?" Percy looked surprised.

"The one and only," Y/n replied.

"But... isn't he gay?" Y/n sighed at this.

"Why does everyone assume he's gay? He's bisexual!"

"Oh... well, if he hurts you, just tell me. He'll have me to answer to," Percy said, making Y/n laugh.

"Okay, Perce."

"And don't forget to use protection," he joked. "I don't want to become an uncle yet!" Y/n was halfway out the door when he said this, but hearing that made her turn around, a smirk on her face.

"Don't worry. We will." Y/n slammed the door shut and took off running, praying to her father that Percy wouldn't catch up to her. She found Nico at the edge of the beach and quickly grabbed his hand.

"-pant- Nico, c'mon, before -pant- Percy catches up," Y/n said, breathing heavily. Nico quirked an eyebrow at this, before nodding and dragging Y/n to the nearest shadow. He held on tightly to her as they shadow-traveled. They soon appeared in the parking lot of his favourite fast food restaurant ever: McDonald's.

"Wow, McDonald's. How romantic," Y/n remarked, although she was relieved that she didn't have to go to some fancy restaurant. McDonald's was familiar, at least. Nico just rolled his eyes and walked towards the red building, Y/n in tow. He went up to a man that was working there.

"Hey, can I get two cheeseburger combos and two Reese's Piece's McFlurries?" Nico looked at the man. Y/n wondered how he knew those were her favourite things to get from McDonald's , before realizing they had discussed it before.

"Would you like fries with those?" The man looked at Nico with dull green eyes, making Y/n feel bad for the probably minimum wage employee.

"Mhm," Nico said, taking a bit of cash from his pocket and giving it to the man. The man took the cash, put it in the cash register, and handed Nico his change, along with a number. Nico walked over to Y/n, putting the change in the pocket of his black hoodie as he did so, and casually slung an arm around her, making her smile. After a little while of waiting, their number was called and they grabbed their food and cups. He filled his cup with Coke, while Y/n filled hers with y/f/s. They sat down beside each other, Y/n's head on Nico's shoulder and Nico's head on her shoulder. They both smiled, thinking the same thing.
