You two aren't together here

Will was in the infirmary, as usual. He was sorting through a few needles when he heard a muffled "ow," coming from a voice he knew so well: Y/N. He sighed, stood up, straightened his clothes, and turned around.

"I thought you promised you wouldn't get hurt for at least a week, Y/n," he started. "That was two days ago."

"I know," Y/n sighed. "But that Party Pony was just so annoying!" Will's blue eyes widened with worry.

"You fought a Party Pony?!" Y/N snorted.

"Hades, no. If I did that, I wouldn't be alive to tell the tale. I'm not that stupid." Y/n paused, realizing what they had just said.

"Not that I'm stupid at all," Y/n said quickly.

"Of course not," Will agreed, grabbing a piece of ambrosia and force-feeding it to them.

"But, if you didn't fight the centaur, how did you break your arm and get all those scrapes?" He gestured towards Y/n's very broken arm as they winced.

"I walked away from her, tripped on a rock, and slid down half of Zeus's Fist," Y/n murmured, looking away sheepishly. Will stared at her for a moment, halfway done wrapping their arm, and burst into laughter.

"Hey, it's not funny!" Y/n frowned at him, then paused to think about it.

"Okay, maybe it is a little funny, after all. But only a little!" Will gasped dramatically, pretending to be shocked.

"Did the great, accident-prone, overall awesome and amazing Y/n just admit they were wrong and I was right?"

"Oh, shut up," Y/n murmured, earning a laugh from him.

"But seriously, you are very accident-prone. I see you here almost every day! you need to be careful," Will said, finishing their arm sling.

"Are you saying you don't want to see me?" Y/n raised an eyebrow.

No! Will thought. That's not what I meant! At all! No! They're gonna hate me now.

"Uh... Will? Will? Solace? You in there?" Y/n waved a hand in front of him, making him come out of his thoughts.

"Be my girlfriend/boyfriend/partner/pref," he suddenly burst out, immediately mentally slapping himself. Y/n stared at him for a moment, then grinned.

"Okay."

"Wait, what?"

"See you later, Doc." And with that, Y/n pecked his cheek and walked out of the room. Will was in such a daze that it took about ten seconds for him to realize that they didn't eat all of the ambrosia he gave them. Or, at least the part he hadn't force-fed them. He ran out of the room.

"Y/n!"
