《Percy Jackson X Reader》Chapter 9

"Come," Geyron smiled, though it seemed forced. "Let me take you on a tour."
Annabeth sidled up to you and whispered in your ear, "Why are you butting in on my quest?"
You looked back at her. "I'm not here for your quest. I'm on my own unofficial quest because if I don't Luke-" you cut off, not wanting to share too much to this git of a girl.
"Luke, what about Luke? Tell me!"
You opened your mouth to answer before she hit you, but then you heard Percy talking with Geyron.
"I'll clean your stables in a day and if I can, then you will let all of us go. If I don't finish, then you can sell us all to Luke. You quietly gasped, you were not going back to Luke.
"Fine," Geyron smiled, looking at you with greedy eyes. "this one will fetch a pretty price as she is the one Luke wants the most." Annabeth gasped in anger and you shook, terrified at the prospect of going back to Luke. Being at his mercy, no way of escape. Geyron led you all back to the main house as Percy walked to the stables.
*time skip*
You struggled against your bonds. You, Nico, Grover, Tyson, and Annabeth were all tied up at the ankles and wrists around the columns of the main house. You could have easily burned through your bonds, but you knew that you couldn't kill Geyron without piercing all of his three hearts at the same time. Apparently, you had written down information about Geyron in your notebook and while rereading it last night after Nico had crashed, you had found that your uneasiness from before was right and Geyron was a monster.
Percy came up to the house and when he saw you all tied up, he glared at Geryon. "I cleaned your stables, now let them go."

Geryon laughed, "I don't think so. This one," he grabbed your chin forcing you to look at him. "Will fetch me a pretty price." You were shaking, you waited for the sting of a slap to come. When it didn't come, you opened your eyes and saw that Percy was fighting Geryon. Gritting your teeth to stop the panic attack, you lit your hands on fire. The rope burned away and you did the same with the ropes around your ankles. Then you burned away the rest of the ropes around Nico, Grover, Tyson, and reluctantly Annabeth; you ran to the porch table that held your rings and your belt pouch.
Slipping your rings onto your fingers and strapping on your pouch, you turned towards where Percy was attempting to fight Geryon. There was a bow near you along with a quiver of arrows. Grabbing the bow and quiver, you darted towards Percy. Throwing the bow and quiver to Percy, you summoned your own sword and blocked Geryon's sword. Blocking and parrying was challenging when Geryon was about two to even three times bigger than you, but you got him to raise his arms to strike and an arrow went through his chest and landed in the barbeque with three hearts skewered onto it. Geryon looked at the arrow with his hearts saying, "They said he couldn't shoot. They said I would be safe."
You turned to see Percy with the bow in his hands, staring incredulously at the spot Geryon had stood. Annabeth rushed over to him, throwing her arms around him and saying how amazing that was and how he saved us all. You groaned and turned around to check on Nico. He cheekily smiled at you, "You did great." You grabbed him into a sneak attack hug. He yelled in surprise and then sobered up when he saw Percy again. You let Nico go and walked over to Eurytion, summoning your sword and pointing it at him.

"Hey, I never liked Geyron. He always made me do the dirty work." He had his hands raised. Looking into his eyes, you saw that he was telling the truth and you lowered your sword. Percy walked over.
"Can I trust you to treat the animals well?"
"Yes."
"Then, you be the owner and maybe when Geyron reforms, maybe you will be the boss."
"Yeah, no longer doing the dirty work," Eurytion muttered, then he turned to you. "I'm sorry about Geryon, here," He held out a little disk to you. Once he put it in your hands, it turned into a metal spider. "You and your friends over there," he gestured to Annabeth, Percy, Tyson, Nico, and Grover. "Should go visit your father. I helped him out once and he gave me this for if I ever needed to find him again. I want to thank you for bringing some light back into my life." He smiled and you smiled in response.
"Get away from me!" you turned to see Nico backing away from Percy.
"Nico, please listen. I think you're in danger-"
"Just shut up! You killed my sister!" Nico drew his sword and you quickly moved in between the two boys.
"Nico, please calm down."
"Ask Bianca, I know that you have been trying to contact her!"
Nico growled and sheathed his sword. "Fine, but we have to wait until night, that's when it's easiest." He looked at you once and walked towards the main house. Percy turned to follow and you put a hand out, stopping him.
"No, he needs time alone."
*time skip*
You walked with Nico as the rest of the group followed. He summoned a girl with similar features to himself.
"Nico, you've grown so much!"
"Bianca, I'm sorry-" Percy started, but the girl Bianca interrupted.
"Percy, I made my choice."
"No, it's all his fault that you died!" Nico yelled.
"Nico, you need to stop trying to bring me back. Holding grudges is dangerous for children of Hades." She turned to you. "Thank you, for bringing his spark back. And Percy," she turned to Percy. "Thank you for trying to protect him." She turned back to Nico. "I love you, Nico!" She disappeared and Nico collapsed, silent sobs making his body shake. You wrapped your arms around him and let him cry. After a short while, he stood up and wiped his eyes. You walked back to the main house with him.
*time skip*
"Thank you," You said to Eurytion as you walked to the grate and heard everyone following behind you. Turning to Nico, you asked him something. "Are you coming, or would you rather not?"
"Thank you for everything, but I think I need to go my own way." He hugged you and dropped down into the grate and disappeared from view. You watched and then turned to the four other people behind you.
"Do any of you want to come and meet my dad?"

Mistbound: Eternity
The world is said to be formed out of duality of man. Good and evil, right and wrong, light and dark. And with duality, comes conflict. A meaningless clash of ideals results in pointless wars. Azlan is wanderer who doesn't falls in either category. Tired and done with the redundant world, he lives his secluded life, hunting monstrosites for coin in the crumbling province of Mountaliya, situated in the land of Forsa. The premise follows Azlan as he explores the province, experiencing the culture and its people as they try to stand unshaken amidst a cold and unforgiving world. The story is a dark fantasy that is a balance of action and world building but most importantly, it follows the people going about their daily lives. The world has entered a state of stasis, there are no high stakes, no glory to be had, only a decaying realm of ice remains. Everyone awaits for Heaven's descent, an event prophesied to bring the world out of stasis, by granting the champion of the event a wish. Heaven Shall Descend. I wanted to write a high fantasy story that doesn't focuses too much on Magic and Swordfights, but rather interactions between people, a bit of politics and ideals. This is my first attempt at writing something this huge, please let me know if you see mistakes or any problems in general, so I can learn from them. (The cover picture is from the year 1818, "Wanderer Above the Mist" by Caspar David Friedrich). I also write Short stories set in the same shared universe. You can read them here: Dark Fantasy Short Stories.

Realm Of Assola
The story follows Aron, a young beggar. Having lived in a ruined village for as long as he knew of himself and with the lack of food combined with harsh conditions, he isn't happy with his current life. With the war on the horizon, their village being close to the border between kingdoms. And an increased number of people, soldiers going through the village. Things are bound to change. Realm Of Assola is a big world, that will be revealed as the young beggar Aron gets on his feet, and expands his horizons. With the kingdom that allows slavery, and the increasing amount of casualties. The demand for them increased. But will that turn out to be a good thing? There will be classes, spells, magic, and more. About classes, they will be somewhat close to LitRPG but the focus won't be on them. They will be used as means, not the focus. You could say that it has a slow start, but it is more that Arons progress will be somewhat slow. And it takes him some time to adapt and find a way to improve. Daily updates for the first fifteen or so chapters. At that point, I will most likely have to reduce it. To something more manageable. So I decided on a schedule, every day at 18:00 CET new chapter should be up.
