It's been over three hundred years since the death of the Cullens, since Caius and I adopted two more children both who are still with us, Aro and Sulpacia adopting Alora who also happened to be Marcus's second chance mate. It's been peaceful, though if you count the four immortals who are my daughters mates peaceful then sure. Though he story of the mates is for another day.

"What are you thinking about?" Caius asks me kissing my neck, wrapping his arms around my midsection.

"How I got so lucky having my mate, children" looking at him "and being here in general"

"Because I love you?" He asks

"Was that a question?" Looking at him
