"Mom" I look up from the book I was reading, Caius and I are in the library reading when we see our daughters Abby and MJ come over "can compete in this years Volterra's pageant whatever it's called?"
"Why?" Caius asks
"To shove it in Juliette Martells and her gang of bitches faces" Abby says with a sinister smile she learned from her dad.
"We'll need some more context" I tell them
"Juliette is this pretty bitch" MJ starts
"Language" Caius scolds
"Sorry" Abby says "well she says me, MJ and Alora wouldn't be able to win because we don't have what it takes"
"So we entered" MJ tells us "and now we need help getting ready" I stare at my daughters "so mom could you help us?"
"Also dad" Abby laughs "there's one portion we need your help with"
"What?" He asks
"Leaning how to waltz" I laugh, the waltz no matter what is the one dance for some reason Caius hates.
I look at my daughters, I'm watching Alora dance with Aro, Abby with Caius and MJ with Marcus as they teach the girls how to waltz. "Caius" I call out realizing why he hates this "our daughter does need her toes" Aro and Marcus chuckle when Caius shoots me a glare.
"Don't worry dad" Abby encourages "you got this" just then she makes a face when Caius steps on another one of her toes.
"Why" clapping my hands "we stop for a moment" pausing the music, I go to my mate and wrap my arms around his neck "why didn't you tell me you are terrible at this?"
"You really have to ask that?" He looks at me, I shake my head. Looking over I watch our daughters whispering in the corner with Alora. Alora, much to no one's surprise was a wolf shifter. So it took a few years for her to stay calm and not attack or kill anyone from her anger. MJ as it turned out has a gift for being able to manipulate plants, her room is filled with vines and flowers and plants. I remember Caius screaming when this huge Venus fly trap but his head when he was sketching. Finally Abby, she has the gift of mediumship. We don't know how but she can interact with ghosts but also she can manipulate threads.

"What do you think their whispering about?" Marcus asks, the girls have learned to whisper so softly that we can't hear them.
"Their thinking about turning this pageant into Carrie Whites prom" Aro says, we then hear the girls cackle like witches.
"Girls" they look my way "remember, no killing"
"We know" all three say with smirks before running off.
"Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" Marcus asks
