I stay by my mates side as she recovers, is this what she felt so many years prior when I was attacked by werewolves? It's been over a week and I'm worried, normally it doesn't take a vampire this long to heal.

"Daddy" I'm snapped out of my train of thought when I hear a little girls voice say "daddy" looking over I see Abigail in Aro's arms, Sulpacia holding that girl Alora.

"Did she just" dry tears in my eyes as I take my daughter, she looks at me and smiles.

"Daddy!" She points to me, then she looks at Annika pointing "mommy!"

"That's right" nodding my head

"Mommy!" Abigail screams again

"Did" I quickly look over to see Annika open her eyes "did she just say"

"Mommy!" Abigail tries to get out of my grasp and go to Annika but I keep her in my grip.

"Here" Aro gives Annika some blood bags since her eyes are black and no one is risking her hurting our daughter. After she drains the blood bags do I walk closer to her, sitting down I have Abigail in my lap.

"Mommy!" Abigail points to Annika then to me "daddy!" After that she claps her hands.

"Where is Alice and Jasper?" I look to Aro, it's been a few days since I've woken up and I spent it with my family. Now I am in the throne room having Aro tell me what happened since if I start yelling it will be at him and no one else.

"We have Felix, Santiago, Afton and Demetri look for them" Marcus informs me

"The wolves?" Looking around "have they been destroyed?"

"No" Aro shakes his head

"What?" Crossing my arms "why not?"

"Because they aren't a threat to us" Aro picks up his book and reads it. I just stare at him before looking to see my mate walk in with Abby.

"Did you know?" Caius stops and looks at me

"Know what?"

"That those wolf shifters live?"

"No" looking at Aro also pissed "why do they still live?"

"They are Alora's family"

"Who have—" shaking my head "you know what?" Looking around "twins" looking to Jane and Alec "we're going to destroy some wolves" looking to Caius "keep an eye on our daughter and don't have her learn anything new"

"I'm not the one who taught her f-u-c-k" pointing out going to his seat and making faces at our daughter who laughs "you did"

"Holy shit" we give Aro a "really look" when he reads something.

"Shit" Abby then says, Aro sends us a "sorry" look as Abby continues to say "shit"

"How much do you want to bet" Marcus looks up from his seat "that Alora's first word will also be f-u-c-k?"

"She won't say that" Aro declares

"You just said s-h-i-t" crossing my arms "your in no place to judge or anything"

"You taught your daughter f-u-c-k" looking at Abby whose ears are being covered by Caius.
