《Unleashed ↠ Elijah Mikaelson》11

"Well, well, well" Rebekah saw her opportunity to agitate her brother when he walked through the door with the witch "look what the cat dragged in"
Elijah shot a deathly glance to his sister.
"I told you this wasn't a good idea" Cassandra huffed, wanting to just drain the power from the blonde's veins and use it against her, just to teach her a lesson.
"Ignore her, she'll cease in a moment" elijah told Cassie.
"I can't say I won't try" Cassandra huffed loudly to show her disdain "I am actually here to help, we found a piece of the dress that we believe this creature wears, it's a girl"
"Well, congratulations" klaus walked around laughing to himself.
Cassie rolled her eyes once more. She didn't know how much of this family she could take without going full psycho witch on them. Even being around them pulled at every nerve, testing her self control.
"This is the one and only time I'll be staying around here, I'm just going to do a spell to identify who this woman is, I'll either take my chances going home or stay here for the night" Cassie explained
"You can take your chances" Rebekah spat
Breathe Cassie. It was like she wanted Cassandra to react, out of what? Jealousy? Pure hatred for Cassandra's kind?
"I need to siphon power from someone" Cassandra turned around and changed the subject "and I need a few candles"
Klaus got the candles from the fireplace, five long cream coloured ones that had been only lit once, causing a few drops of wax to dry when it was travelling down the sides.
"You can siphon me" Elijah stepped forward; he untucked the wooden chair for Cassie to sit down and then he knelt beside her, handing her his arm.
Both were at the same eye level, making the moment seem a little more intimate than it should be. Maybe if the siblings weren't there, she'd do something she would regret, maybe she was quite lucky that her moves were being watched like a hawk. "Are you sure?" She asked, normally she never really cared for the source in which she drew from, but she knew it hurt, and she didn't really want to cause him any pain.

"I'm sure" Elijah nodded and nudged his arm forward.
"Okay" Cassie gently placed her hands on Elijah's arm, which immediately tensed. She shut her eyes and took a breath in, as well as taking the power from his veins.
Elijah's free hand clutched the wooden table, trying to ignore all of the pain it was causing him. He gritted his teeth and breathes heavily.
"Niklaus, she's hurting him" Rebekah tried to stop it but Klaus stopped her from doing anything stupid.
Eventually, Cassie stopped, feeling the power in her veins, she raised her hands and wiggled her fingers. This made her feel good.
"Okay then" she looked Elijah in the eye, lingering for a few seconds more than just a glance. "Let's try this"
Cassie turned and held her hands over the fabric, uttering some incantation that nobody could really understand. Her hands shook with power, she was never really used to that much.
The candles lit and the flame flickered as if bowing down to a breeze that nobody really could feel. There was nothing really spectacular, but nothing was ever that simple. Cassandra's eyes rolled back, showing just the Whites in her eye as her body convulsed. Her voice fluctuated, from loud to quiet.
And then everything went silent, her body flew to the floor with a thud as she hit herself back into reality.
"Well?" Klaus asked
"What did you see?" Elijah asked, taking her hand and helping her to her feet
"Something I am very sceptical of" she replied "I saw a few people, people I couldn't recognise, witches, women's who's face seemed to be blurred, but one stuck out for me"
"Who?" Elijah urged her to tell him
"I'll only tell if you promise not to go and kill her" Cassie had tears in her eyes and her neck snapped from Elijah to klaus to Rebekah

"You have my word" Elijah agreed.
"I saw Eloise" she revealed "but I don't know if I believe it or not, she was my friend"
"She was" Rebekah said "you can never be too careful"
"I saw her, on the ground, beside the body of the vampire we saw today" Cassie revealed "it's either her or she's working with whoever this is"
"I think we should snap her neck and see what happened" Klaus smirked
"No" Cassie refused
"I'm going into the bayou" Elijah stood "now I know what I'm looking for"
"Elijah, no" Cassandra protested but she could feel her fatigue set in, she felt like weights were hanging from her eyes and her lips were dry and chapped. She didn't have much energy, she didn't have much fight.
"I'll start of in the town, I'll see if I can find her and I'll question her, if I don't find anything I'll come straight back"
------
"What have you done?" Eloise rocked on the floor, she had tears fill her eyes as she stared at the vampire on the floor "I knew this man, he was good, he didn't deserve this"
"Eloise, I'm sorry"
"No" she spat, tucking her blonde hair behind her ear as she crawled over and looked closer at the man "this has gone too far"
"What?"
"It's gone too far now, at first I was okay with turning a blind eye to your murderous, vampiristic tendencies, but now the town is turning on each other" Eloise sobbed "you've killed more people than what the vampires have, you were a witch"
"I still am a witch..."
"No" she shouted "everything about what you are now is unnatural"
"And who's fault is that?! Because it sure as hell isn't mine"
"You could have helped, you could have learnt how to control yourself" she replied "but instead you kill and maim and torture"
"Eloise, give me another chance"
"It's too late" she sniffed, wiping her nose with the handkerchief she retrieved from her bright orange and red dress "from now on, you are on your own"
"You are not being serious? Eloise you are the only person I have"
"No, you have plenty of others" she protested "just those others wouldn't look at you in the same way"
"Please"
"I have to go" she said "it is almost midday and we both have our errands to do"
"Eloise, let me prove to you I am still the same witch"
"That sounds familiar" she scoffed "goodbye"

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)

This piece of shit I swear I want to beat him up now. "Oh I wasn't suppose to cry maybe I should go on my knees and beg for you to accept me being your mate. Ok then, hold up." I said I got on my knees and held my hand together. "Y-You don't need to do that." Elliot stuttered. Oh yes, I definitely want to do this for sure. **Slow editing**
