"Leah" I vaguely hear my name being called over the music and turn to see Flynn making his way towards me.

Zack sighs and throws his head back. "Are you fucking serious?" He growls at Flynn and we turn away to continue dancing.

"You have to come with me now" Flynn instructs, a hint of panic in his voice which concerns me but I don't even know where he wants me to go or why; But I do know that if I go I may as well be taking a step back emotionally.

"No" I shake my head, turning to face him directly. His pupils are dilated. He looks...worried.

"Please just come with me" He says in a soft persuasive tone and I pause. My gaze locked with his.

"She fine where she is Flynn, so piss off and leave us alone" Zack interjects.

Unable to pull my gaze from Flynn, I simply shake my head.

I can't do it!

He glances at the front door and sighs, running his hands through his hair in frustration.

"Fine, we'll do it the hard way" He decides and grabs my wrist, pulling me from Zack's grasp.

"Let her g..." Zack begins but Flynn unexpectedly swings his free hand, punching Zack in the face, causing him to stumble backwards.

I'm not even able to react, when Flynn bends, lifting me from the ground.

"What the hell Flynn" I squeal, "Put me down"

People stand aside and just watch as Flynn carries me over his shoulder in a fireman lift, through the house to the front garden.

He stops at his bike, puts me down and shoves the spare helmet at me. He hurriedly pulls on his own, steps onto the bike and fires it up.

"I don't know what this is about but I'm not going with you"

"Please just get on" Flynn says seriously. His eyes look pleadingly at me.

In my peripheral vision, blue lights catch my attention and I inhale as a Garda car appears around the corner, the sirens suddenly blasting.

"Come on" Flynn yells and tugs at my arm, springing me into action. I shove the helmet on and climb onto the bike, clinging tightly to Flynn as we speed off.

..

We're a safe distance away before Flynn pulls the bike over. I instantly hop off, ripping the helmet from my head and vomit into the nearest bush.

Nothing worse than being on a motorbike when your drunk, there's too much swerving and swaying.

"You okay?" Flynn asks timidly.

I stand and compose myself before turning to face him. "You knew they were coming" I accuse and he simply nods. "How?" I frown at him, a hundred questions running through my head.

Flynn swings his leg across the bike and leans against it, fidgeting with the buckle on his new helmet. The matt black helmet I chose for Linda to buy him for Christmas.

"I left. Passed them along the way. Got a sudden feeling that they were heading for Matty's party so I turned around"

"You came back for me?" I glare curiously at him and he just nods his head in reply. "But why?"

He shrugs his shoulders. A mischievous glint appearing in his steel eyes. "If you got arrested, who would I torment?" He gives me a dimpled smirk and I shake my head, giggling at him. "Now come on, I'll take you home"

"I'm suppose to be staying in Nat's " I wince.

Oh shit. My friends.

I quickly take my phone from my pocket and send Summer and Natalie a text.

Leah: R u both ok? x

After hitting send, I look up at Flynn, who's sitting calmly, as if waiting for me to send the text. " Besides, I can't go home with drink on me" I reveal, even though the adrenaline rush has basically sobered me up, my parents would still know.

"Alri, come on, you can crash at mine" Flynn states, sitting back on the bike and buckling his helmet.

"I.. I can't" I stammer nervously.

"Why not? it's not like you haven't seen my room before or better yet, slept there" He says, his tone playful yet sarcastic.

I stare indecisively at him. I know he has a point but he's still Flynn Murray. The most irritating, confusing, torment I've ever met.

"Fine" I sigh, It's not like I have any another option. "But I'm sleeping on the sofa" I insist, securing the helmet on my head and climbing back onto the bike.

"And have Will waking up, thinking it's his lucky day, hell no!"

"Fine, the floor"

"You'll take my bed, now no more arguing" He says and starts the bike with a loud rev, ending our conversation, okay dispute.

...

"Are you sure you don't want me to sleep on the floor?" I question quietly, standing idle in the middle of his room while he rummages through a drawer.

"I said no arguments" Flynn tosses a black t-shirt at me, "It'll be comfier to sleep in" He says and turns his back to me while I undress.

I turn too, quickly slipping my shorts and top off and pulling his t-shirt on. I breath in his familiar scent, which lingers on his clothes.

"Coast is clear" I inform him after I've climbed into the bed and pulled the duvet over myself.

Looking at him, I instantly notice that he has changed into nothing but a pair of grey tracksuit bottoms; Not that I could miss his shirtless, toned body tantalizing me from across the room.

Damn it now I was never going to get the imagine of his body out of my head.

Taking the spare pillow and the blanket from the end of the bed, he drops them on the floor and lowers himself to the ground.

I shuffle to the edge of the and look over the side, down at him. He's laying on his back, his arms resting above his head.

"Okay there?" He smirks up at me and even in the dimly lit room I can see the dimple on his right cheek.

"You're actually sleeping on the cold wooden floor" I state in bemusement.

"Where else did you expect me to sleep? I could sleep on the sofa but I'm not taking a chance on you wandering around aimlessly in just my t-shirt. Knowing you, you'd end up in Will's bed"

Unimpressed, I squint my eyes at him.

"And there's not a hope I'm going to let you sleep down here"

"Get up here" I sigh guiltily and roll onto my back again.

"What?" Flynn mumbles.

"Just get on the bed before I change my mind"

"You're serious?" Flynn sit up as I turn my head to look in his direction.

Our faces barely centimeters apart. I can feel his minty breath on my face and my heart skips a beat.

"Ye..yes I'm serious. I can't sleep in your bed, knowing you're uncomfortable on the floor" Flynn leaps up from the floor and pounces across me to the empty side of the bed. "Above the duvet" I instruct, before he can even attempt crawl under; but it seems he was already thinking that. He covers himself with the blanket from the floor.

I lay gazing up into the dark, my breathing relaxing, mimicking Flynn's.

"Flynn" I whisper and he grunts acknowledging me. "Before I forget or we have another fight and stop talking, I just want to say thanks"

He snickers softly, making the bed shake. "No need, honestly" He says dismissively.

"Yes there is. You saved my ass back there.." I turn in the bed, facing Flynn's direction, even though I can't see him, I can sense his closeness. "..I could be sitting in a cell right now, if it weren't for you"

"I wouldn't let that happen ya" Flynn yawns as though it's no big deal and I'm suddenly glad it's pitch black in here and he can't see the stupid grin on my face or my blushing cheeks.

Wait, I'm blushing over that?

Damn you Flynn.

Why does he always have such an impact on me.
