《Trouble meets Trouble》Devil red

Summer lay on my bed, her phone held above her as she text Benji. According to Summer he is in Robbie's pre-drinking before heading to Matty's.
Natalie stands in complete awe gazing at my shoe collection. Thankfully she's a size too small to wear them, okay more like steal them but that wasn't preventing her from admiring them.
"I think Summer should wear these" Natalie holds up a leather platform pair with silver studs on the heel, like a Mohawk.
"Eh no" I say sarcastically, taking the shoe she's displaying. "If Summer really wants to wear something of mine then I'm choosing. I'm not being held responsible for her loosing her colorful and cute side"
"You have a cute side" Summer exclaims and I wince.
"Don't ever say that again" I warn, rummaging through my rails of clothes. "Ah ha" I proclaim, finding the perfect outfit.
I toss the clothes at Summer and instruct her to try them on, just to be certain. She quickly changes into the long lace sleeve top and off-white skater skirt, that I've never actually worn.
Natalie and I nod approvingly. She looks badass but still cute, in only a way that Summer could pull off.
I finished her outfit off with a simple pair of patent black platform heels.
Perfect.
"Damn, can I rob an outfit?" Natalie pouts and I sigh in defeat. I knew there was a reason I didn't have female friends, especially ones who wore the same size as me. It was already bad enough that my mother often borrows my shoes, without these two doing it too.
"I love it, thank you so much" Summer wraps her arms around me, grasping me in a tight hug. "Now, what are you wearing?"
I shrug my shoulders and return to my wardrobe where Natalie's debating between two bandage dresses, which honestly have very little differences.
After spending the past week with Aaron and Holly, partying the whole New Years weekend, I really wasn't in too much of a party mood but since I'd barely seen the girls, I agreed to go tonight.
I throw on a pair of black high waist shorts, a khaki green t-shirt, my black button boots and style it with studded leather accessories.

Dressy yet casual.
"Wow, you have a nice ass in that" Natalie wolf whistles, while admiring herself in the mirror.
"Thanks" I giggle.
That's something I'd often heard before but I never expected to hear it from a female or a female friend.
...
I'm stood at the kitchen counter, debating whether to have an alcoholic drink or not. I still haven't had a drink since I moved here, which has to be a record for me; when a high pitch giggle pierces my ears. I glance around to locate the irritating noise, quickly tying it to Nikki, the peroxide blonde who's doing what she does best; flirting with Flynn.
As if sensing my eyes upon them, Flynn looks up. Our eyes momentarily meet but I quickly turn away.
My previous debate settled.
Alcohol it is!
"Want one?" Natalie and Carl appear next to me, offering a shot of Tequila.
oh tempting!!
"Sure why not" I take the plastic cup from Carl and knock it back in sync with Natalie.
"Taste-buds much?" Carl chuckles.
I started drinking like two years ago, by now Tequila's mild to me.
I'm also well aware that since I haven't drank in so long that it's going to have one hell of an affect on me, but honestly I really couldn't care right now.
I take a cold beer from the fridge and take a long, overdue gulp. My gaze falling on Flynn as I lower the bottle.
"Don't tell me you're after Flynn?" A male voice says with an amused chuckle. I turn to see Zack smiling down at me. His eyes glimpse down over my body and settle back at my face.
"Isn't every girl?" I smirk sarcastically.
"I thought a pretty smart girl like yourself would be different" He winks.
I let out a faint laugh.
I've heard nearly every pick up line out there, hell I've even used some too; but cheesiness always make me laugh. It's just so terribly lame.
Zack leans sideways against the counter, the space between us limited but I figured, why not?
The more I drink, the closer he gets.

"You're not like the other girls in school" Zack grins at me, my shoulder brushing off his. He reaches his arm around the front of me, his hand sits on my hip and he slowly twists me until I'm facing him. He gazes down at me, his eyes flickering to my lips.
"Trouble" I hear Flynn's familiar voice call next to me.
I pause, with only inches between mine and Zack's faces, hoping he'll just go away but he doesn't. He pretending to clear his throat, trying to get my attention.
"Piss off Flynn" I sigh and roll my eyes.
"I need to talk to you" Flynn says sternly. I turn, noticing his jaw clenching with irritation.
"This instant?" I glower.
"Yes"
"I'll be right back, save my space" I wink flirtatiously, knowing Flynn can hear me.
I follow Flynn out to the back garden, where only a few people are gathered smoking, which is understandable, It's way too cold to be standing out here otherwise!
"What do you want?" I snap at Flynn, folding my arms across my chest and rubbing my arms to keep my heat.
"Zack Donnelly? Are you fucking serious?" He growls. I knew he hated him but I hadn't actually realized how much until now. He practically has steam coming from his ears and if his eyes could turn devil red, they would be. "He's the biggest dickhead in school"
"That's debatable" I mumble.
"What happened Anthony?"
"Wasn't working out, remember?" I arch an inquisitive eyebrow at him. It was him after all who said Anthony didn't deserve me, that he would never accept me completely.
"Yeah but anyone is better than that asshole" He spits spitefully. His eyebrows knitted furiously.
"Flynn.." I say calmly. "..I'm not marrying the guy; Hell I don't even want a relationship with him. I'm just looking for a good time" I wink slyly and turn away, sick of this cold and his... well whatever it is.
I take a few more steps when suddenly my legs wobble and almost buckle beneath me until I feel Flynn's hands grip me by my sides, sending bolts of electricity through me.
Damn Flynn.
He holds me for a moment while I try steady myself.
"Have you been drinking?" He asks spinning me around to face him and suddenly noticing my widened eyes, that I'd somehow manage to keep him from seeing until now. "You're fucking drunk Leah"
I stand frozen to the spot. My racing heart almost coming to a complete stop.
He called me Leah.
For the first time ever, he said my name, not Goodie or Trouble, just Leah and I've never heard my name sound so appealing.
I want to hear him say it again, maybe with less anger behind it.
I swallow hard and shake my head, pulling me from my absurd train of thought.
"Who cares" I nip at him. "It's not my first time drinking and it won't be my last. I don't need you to take care of me" I feel my words beginning to slur. "Now if you don't mind I'm going back inside to get a drink and maybe find Zack again"
I stride steadily back inside, trying to ignore Flynn's gaze on me.
I close the door after me, leaving him out there.
"There you are" Summer chimes as she approaches me, her smile slowly fading as she encloses. "What's going on? Are you drunk?"
I shake my head dismissively.
Behind me the door opens and Summer looks past me at Flynn, somehow registering what's wrong with me.
"Hey Flynn" She chirps sweetly at him as he steps past me, careful not to brush off me.
He nods, acknowledging Summer and keeps walking.
"What was that about?"
"Just Flynn being his usual irritating shithead self" I say finalizing the conversation. "Come on, let's dance" I drag Summer to the center of the kitchen where we join in with the other people dancing carelessly.
"Hey gorgeous" Zack smirks, holding my waist as we dance. My arms sway loosely by my side as Zack pulls me closer.
