Kaminari saw Kirishima looking around the foyer.

"Hey Denks, have you seen Kat?" He asked, continuing to glance around even as he spoke. Denki frowned.

"Now that you think about it, no I haven't. I think he's still in his dorm."

"Can you go get him please? I need to finish up with some stuff with Mina, and we all need to go soon, so hurry."

Kami nodded, and rushed over to the stairs, which he took 2 at a time until he got to Bakugo's level. He went down the hallway and opened his boyfriend's door, popping his head inside.

"Oi Kats, we need to get- why aren't you dressed?"

Katsuki was lying on his bed in a sweatshirt and shorts, scrolling through his phone.

"I'm not going," he grunted.

"Huh? Why not?"

"I don't want to. I don't like parties."

"But Katsukiiiii it's the new year," Kaminari whined, flopping on top of Bakugo with a huff.

"So? Next years gonna be exactly the same as the last one. It's nothing special."

Kaminari rolled over to look at Bakugo, who was still concentrating on his phone.

"Pleeeease? For meeeee?"

Bakugo spared him a quick glance, and seemed to think about it. But he still answered-

"No."

Kaminari sighed and sat up, frowning. Bakugo glanced away from his phone again.

"What's that look for," he said.

Kaminari just huffed, and his frown deepened.

"Ok seriously, what's wrong." Bakugo turned his phone off with a click, and turned his full attention to Kaminari.

He sighed again and crawled off the bed.

"You would've come if it was Eijiro," he mumbled, heading towards he door.

"Hah? What does that even mean?"

"What does it sound like I mean? If Eijiro was the one asking you to come, you would've said yes. For some reason, you can say no to me but not to him." He tapped his shoe against the carpet. "I mean, I get it, but it still hurts you know?"

Bakugo glared at him.

"Eijiro doesn't fucking guilt trip me, that's why you damn extra," he growled, rolling off the bed and sauntering to his wardrobe to grab some more appropriate clothes for going out.

"So you'll come?" Kami beamed at him, and Bakugo sent another glare his way.

"Only if you don't go moping around think I love you less than Eijiro or some shit, ok?"

Kaminari's grin widened.

"You love us?" He asked, causing Bakugo to freeze. Then he kept rummaging through his clothes, ignoring the question entirely.

"Hey Kastuki! You can't just ignore me!"

Bakugo pulled out some clothes and started getting changed.

"For as long as you're wearing that stupid grin I can ignore you till the end of time. Now let's go." Bakugo grabbed Kami's arm and dragged him out of the room behind him.

When they reached the foyer (going down the elevator, because Bakugo is boring like that), Kiri came over to them immediately.

"Denks! You found him! Good job!" He gave Kaminari a kiss on the cheek.

The three of them had never really come out to the class as a poly relationship, but they weren't exactly secretive about their affection either. Or at least, Kiri and Kami weren't. Bakugo wasn't a huge fan of PDA, so what had actually ended up happening was that everyone thought that Kiri and Kami were dating, and that Baku was just the awkward third wheel.

It gave Bakugo a smug satisfaction knowing just how wrong they were.

It was however, annoying when he got separated from the other two because of their classmates' pity.

"How're we getting to the venue?" He asked Kiri.

"Ah that's was Mina's job. MINA!" He called out. He and Mina were the ones who had organised the whole thing, including getting permission from Mr Aizawa, and ended up enlisting the help of Momo, Ojiro and multiple people from the other courses.

Mina hurried over.

"Bakugo, Kami, there you are! Ok, here's your ticket, just present it to the bus driver when he gets here. You're on the second bus, all three of you, so make sure not to miss it!" Then she hurried off again.

"Wow! You guys organised all this! You even hired buses! This is amazing!"

Bakugo nodded.

"It shows how hard you've worked."

Kirishima laughed at him.

"Only you would say something like that Kat. But yeah, we did work pretty hard. And personally, I think it's going to be fantastic. Just wait till you see the venue! We managed to hire a caterer and a barista! It's going to be so much fun!"

Bakugo had to admit, as much as he had been reluctant to go, Kirishima was really hyping it up, and it sounded like it wouldn't be half bad. He also knew how disappointed Kiri would be if he hadn't gone to something he'd worked so hard on.

"Sounds like it's gonna be great," he said, leaning over and pecking Kirishima on the cheek.

Kirishima beamed, soaking up the affection like a sponge.

"Well you're in a good mood today aren't you?"

From a couple of metres away, Todoroki was staring dumbfounded at what he'd just witnessed.

Bakugo had just kissed Kaminari's boyfriend... in front of Kaminari. And Kaminari was just sitting there chatting away like nothing had happened, even though he clearly should have seen.

Kaminari turned towards him, sensing his gaze. Todoroki sent a questioning look between the three of them, and Kaminari just grinned, sent him a wink, then continued on with their conversation.

Everyone slowly filed out of the second bus, and into a large park that was decorated in stringing lights, had tables of food scattered around, and a stage with a band playing rock music.

"Wow Eijiro... you guys really outdid yourselves," Bakugo commented, looking around. He was impressed.

"You think so? When we started getting other classes involved, we found out that some kids from 1C and 1D formed a band together, and they're really good! We're also kinda hoping they get lots of clout and attention from this gig, and they'll be playing lots of originals!"

"Mm, they are good," Bakugo hummed. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but the band was fantastic.

"Oh my god Ei the foooooood," Kaminari dragged his boyfriends by the arms towards the buffet, making Kirishima laugh.

"It's good to know everyone's $15 donation is going to good use," he said, nodding in approval.

"Good to know you're pleased Denks. But make sure to leave some food for everyone else."

Kaminari looked at him in mock offence.

"To think that you think that I think that all of this was you only thinking of me!"

Kiri stopped for a second.

"Just wait I need to think about that for a second," he said, holding his hand up, as Kaminari laughed.

"Come on! I want to go check out the band! The lead singer is hot," Kaminari tugged at Kiri.

"You unfaithful boyfriend. I though I was hot!"

"You are hot. But she's also hot. Give me a break Ei."

They both laughed, and started off towards the band.

Bakugo trailed behind silently, but he was smiling softly. He didn't mind not being the centre of attention at these kind of events. Too much talking, too much socialising.

But he did have to practice. He'd have to survive at functions like these when he was the number 1 hero.

So when Todoroki came up to talk to him, he sucked up his temper and made a solid decision not to try to blow up anyone who tried to talk to him tonight.

They chatted for a bit, about the event and how hard everyone worked, before Todoroki asked him something he wasn't expecting.

"So is Kirishima dating you or Kaminari?"

Bakugo froze. This had been a terrible idea. He should never have come. His entire brain was telling him to blow the half'n'half bastard up for daring to even ask something like that, but his body wouldn't move.

"Kats! There you are! Oh hey Todoroki." Kaminari swooped in to save the situation. That lifesaving boyfriend of his.

"Me and Ei were gonna go get some drinks, what do you want?"

Bakugo saw the opportunity and grabbed it.

"I don't know, what is there? You know what, I'll just go with you. See ya Icy-hot, nice chat I guess." As he walked away, he could sense the calculating frown on Todoroki's face, but he didn't dare turn around to see it.

As soon as they were out of earshot, Kaminari grinned at him.

"It's your own fault you know. He saw your little display of affection towards Kiri earlier."

"What?! Why didn't you say anything?"

Kaminari shrugged.

"You were busy. Then I forgot."

Bakugo scowled.

"I swear to god Denki if I wasn't dating you I'd-"

"You'd start dating me, because you love me that much," he grinned mischievously.

"I thought I told you we weren't talking about that," he said, explosions starting to crackle in his palms.

"No, you said you were going to ignore me for as long as I kept grinning. And blowing me up is the complete opposite of ignoring me."

Bakugo scowled and shoved his hands in his pockets, and they were immediately met with Kirishima.

"Ah you found him! We keep losing you today Bakugo. What do you want?"

"Uh... I'll have a lemonade I guess."

"Denks?"

"One of those fruity things," he replied.

Kirishima hands them the drinks from up in the bar.

"Denki's had so many of those things, I don't get why he likes them, they're super sweet as well," Kirishima told Bakugo as Kaminari downed his drink.

"If those were alcoholic, you'd be drunk by now," Bakugo says, turning towards Kami.

"But they're reeeeeeeally good," Kami replied, slurring his words and pretending to be drunk.

"I'm sure they are," Bakugo said, raising one eyebrow.

"You're reeeeeeally hot didya know that?" He said, leaning onto Bakugo.

"So now you think 3 people are hot, do you? Me, Kirishima, and the lead singer of that band."

Kaminari nodded.

"Three extreeeeemly hot people. That's three tooooo many if you ask me. Especially considering I am NOT. one of those people."

"I dread the day you ever come into contact with proper alcohol Denki," Bakugo said, pushing the laughing Kami off him.

"Oh man, I wouldn't be that bad would I?" he said, snapping out of his drunken act.

"I never want to see you like that again."

"You never want me to call you hot again?"

Bakugo's cheeks flushed.

"That's not what I-"

"Oh that reminds me! Ei! Did you know that Katsuki looooves us!"

Bakugo covered his face with his hands and groaned as his face grew even redder.

"Awww really? Kat that's so sweet!"

"You're a terrible boyfriend Denki," Bakugo said, his hands muffling his speech. "And you too Ei. You encourage him."

"Aww he's getting embarrassed about it."

"Haha Kat you're so cute when you're blushing," Kiri added, trying to pry Bakugo's hands away from his face.

"You know what I take it back. I hate both of you. You can fuck off for all I care. Now stop making fun of me."

They both laughed, but their laughter soon cooled down.

"Nah, I love you guys too," Kirishima said, smiling softly.

Kaminari saw from the corner of his eye Todoroki watching, surprise etched all over his face.

"Oh my god I love you guys too! Aren't we such bros! It's a love only true friends can understand!" He hooked his arm around Kirishima's and Bakugo's neck, taking them by surprise.

Kirishima started laughing.

"Denki what in the actual fuck are you doing," Bakugo growled.

"Uh, well, Todoroki was watching, and I knew you didn't want him to find out so I just kinda, i don't know, it was dumb of me sorry..."

Kirishima laughed again.

"And no matter what you said, Bakugo sitting here all flustered would have given it away," Kirishima said, saving the scene.

"Shut up," Bakugo growled.

"It was cute though," Kiri teased.

"So, Katsuki, was it as bad as you thought it would be?" Kami asked while they were waiting for the countdown to start. Bakugo was quiet for a moment.

"No, I guess it wasn't. You really did do a great job here Ei."

"It wasn't all me you know, there was also Mina and Momo and Ojiro and-"

"Yeah but I'm only saying this to you. It's really good."

Kirishima smiled, looking humbly at the ground.

"Thanks Kat."

"WAIT I JUST REALISED." Kaminari sat up straight from where he had been lying across their laps. "I never said I love you as well!"

"I mean, you kinda did-"

"Yeah but not properly. So- I love you two. A lot. And if you ever think that I don't I'll be here to remind you!" He bonked them both on the head, which made them laugh.

"Thanks Denki," Bakugo said when they'd stopped laughing, before pulled him down into a kiss. Kaminari put his hands on Bakugo's jaw and neck, and Bakugo's hands slid down from his shoulders to his upper back.

"I knew it."

The two broke out of the kiss and turned to see Todoroki standing where he definitely hadn't been standing before. He'd obviously just been walking by.

"You're all dating each other right? I thought it was weird that Bakugo hung out with you so much, even though you were always flirting and stuff. Anyway, have you seen Shinso? He said we'd all meet up at midnight, but he hasn't turned up yet so I'm kinda worried."

And just like that, the topic was over. It was like it didn't even bother him. Bakugo and Kami breathed a sigh of relief, while Kiri talked to Todoroki.

"He's working on electrical, so maybe go check behind the stage?"

Todoroki thanked him and continued down the path.

"Ah man that was awkward," Kami flopped onto the ground.

"It could've been worse," Kiri pointed out, and they all nodded in agreement.

"AAAAALRIGHTY FIRST YEARS, THE COUNTDOWN'S ABOUT TO BEGIN ARE YOU READYYYYYYY," Mic screamed from the stage. Even though the three were behind some bushes, they could still hear everything.

"10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

"Here's to the new year!" Kami announced.

"To the new year," Kiri echoed.

"To twenty-fucking-twenty one," Bakugo added in his own special way.

"You make it sound like last year and this year are having sex Kat, you can't just jinx the year like that," Kami blurted.

Bakugo and Kirishima burst out laughing, but Kami continued.

"I mean, can you imagine what their child would be like?! Any child of last year would be a monster!"

"I mean, that would still have to wait until 2022," Kiri said.

"No, their child would be 2120, which is 99 years away. Just you wait, it's gonna be terrible."

Kirishima smiled, then looked up at the sky.

"Ok. We'll wait."
