Riya's pov

5 months later...................

"are you ready Riya" mom asked coming near me and helping me to adjust my hair. " you look radiant baby"

" thank you mom" i said forcing a smile rubbing my belly, taking deep breath.

" What happen baby, are you not feeling well, we can cancel the baby shower" mom rush helping me to sit down on bed and gave me juice.

" i don't know mom, i am feeling restless from morning," i told her.

" it's ok, I'll just call off the function don't worry" she said.

" No! Mom don't cancel anything, I'll be fine, beside the guest are already here, it will look bad"

" i don't care about guest, your health is important" she said cupping my face.

I hold her hand " mom i am fine, lets go" i told mom getting up.

"you're sure?!" i nodded and we headed out.

Everything was decorated in pink and bule color. Cute baby toys, pictures very decorated.

I was busy admiring when Akash whisper in my ear.

" your looking soo beautiful..... I can't wait to make love with you " he said his fingers moving on my back creating electric sensation not helping my already pregnancy hormones.

I know i look beautiful because i was wearing what he had chose for me.

I was wearing maroon color gown, light weight so i am comfortable to walk in it with lace net on my arms.

" your glowing baby" Akash said kissing my cheek, i blush red as every one was looking at us.

" Akash, every one is looking" i said trying to push him.

He chuckled " everyone is here to give blessing to us Riya, and this..!" he said rubbing my tummy, immediately our baby response with a kick. " our baby is prove that what we do inside our bedroom, so you don't need to shy now" he said loudly.

Everyone laughed and i was red again i pinch Akash, giving him a glare.

" lets start every one is waiting dear" papa said.

I was sitting on sofa while everyone came and gave gifts and blessings to me and baby.

Mom also invited Mr and Mrs Kapoor Nayna's parents.

Mrs Kapoor is very sweet lady she bought so much gifts for baby.

The function was on full mood the nagging feeling i had earlier was long forgotten.

I was enjoying all the pampering and advice of ladies to be a great mother.

"kiddo.....!" came a loud voice and there he was.

He came and hugged me "Kunal..!" i said smiling.

" oo my God look at you, glowing already, i thought pregnant women look like cow but i was wrong. Look at you the most beautiful mother too be" he said.

"Kunal...!.. Stop hitting on my wife daam it" Akash suddenly came from behind me.

They both hugged each other and went away to have drinks.

Soon it was time for dinner as everyone started having their food. I waited for Akash, i asked mom but she said that she didn't saw him.

" Riya.... Come eat frist" mom said.

I shook my head " let Akash come" i told mom.

" riya..... Akash must be busy with some guest you need to eat baby" mom said again.

I sigh and went with her.

Mom told waiter to prepare my plate as we sat on one of the table.

As the waiter came with my plate he put it down. I once again looked around to find Akash but fail to spot him.

I turned and looked at mom.

" ok you start eating I'll bring that boy here" she said and got up to find Akash.

I smiled at her, i looked at food, most of the dish contain what i eat most during pregnancy and my tummy made hungry sound making my mouth to water, 'hungry little one' i rubbed my stomach instantly feeling a kick.

I picked up the spoon to eat as i was above to put it in my mouth.

"RIYA".....! Akash yelled startling me i drop the spoon.....

He came running towards me....

Before i could ask him what happen.

"did you eat food.....!" he asked pushing the plate down the tabke it fell on ground breaking in pieces.

Akash hugged me " Tell me baby did you eat food!!?? " he asked desperately.

"No..!" i said clutching his shirt, i was scared now. He left a sigh

" what happen..?" i asked him.

"The food is posion" he told me i gasp pulling away from him my both hands went to my stomach.

My heart beat increasing rapidly..

"Akashhhhh.......!" I whisper taking step back.

He immediately pulled me in his arms " clam down Riya, baby i got you" he started to wisper in my ears but i was blank.

My baby........ Someone posion food.... Godd...... To kill my baby

"who..?" i asked Akash but he kept quiet his eyes flashing anger.

"Who Akash..." i scream this time..

His eyes soften a bit " I'll handle it" he said...

I push him away..

"no... No...!" i shook my head..

" you promise nothing will happen to baby what if what if...." i can't complete...

"Riyaaa....!" he tried tried to say..

I moved back again but was caught by Kunal.

"kiddo relax......" He said "you are scaring litte one also.."

"Akash i take her inside you handle this frist" he said and he lead me to our room.

Once inside room i was still in daze he made me sit on bed and gave me water.

Taking small sips i put the glass down.

" he promised, to protect baby" i mutter..

Kunal sat down on his knee, and took my hand in his " nothing happen to you or baby Riya, sleep! don't think so much it will stress you and it is not good for baby right?" he said i nodded at him.

He made me sleep and i let darkness cloud over me as i hugged my self.

Akash's Pov

God she looks radiant, my Riya.. I was feeling so proud i was waiting to get this over so i can have her alone.

I was looking at he, how she was laughing, rubbing her stomach which was turning me on..

" will you stop... You look like creep" kunal said giving me glass of wine.

" shut up...! She is my wife i can look at her as much as i want" i told him.

" Exactly...!" ge said rolling his eyes.

" did you find out about the attacker" he asked me.

"no, he seems to well hiding" i told him clutching the glass in my hand.

" relax... Buddy... Well i must say Riya look cute" he said looking at her.

"you bastard" i hiss at him.

He laughed out loud. " chill she is like my sister" he told me. I smirk already knowing him.

We were talking about some old friends when i got a call from my detective as there was noise inside so i went out to balcony to talk.

As i was walking to balcony i heard a familiar voice.

" yes.... You did it I'll send you your payment later, did you make sure that its her plate that you poison....?!

" yes this is last change to kill her and her baby.... "i was so stock that i didn't move or breath.

" no one can take my Nayna's place " Mr Kapoor said Nayna's dad.

I gasp he turned around startled, i took stel towards him but instantly spin and ran towards my Riya..

No god please no..

I ran to table i saw her taking food in spoon i scream her name.

" Riya " she startled and drop the spoon

Pulling her into my arms i asked her if she ate food.

She sad no and i left the sigh.

She asked me what happen and i told her about the posion but her reaction hurt me.

My alway clam Riya was furious she even push me away.

Her question her eyes asking me telling me that i failed to protect my baby.

I failed the promise i made to him.

How could i tell her that my past again came into my future.

Thankful Kunal came and took her away.

Dad told everyone to go as we had situations.

Once everyone left i loose my clam i lash out of my seat and took hold of Nayna's dad shirt.

Dad, mom, mrs Nayna's mom all scream at my behavior no one knowing why i was reacting this way.

" why..?" i aked in dangerous low tone.

He pulled him self away from me and laughed darkly.

" because you gave my Nayna's place to that girl" he said.

"I promised my Riya when she said that she loved you i told her that I'll make sure you will reamin her' always. "

"how dare you gave her place to someone else" he said..

I was very furious and i felt kunal trying to hold me back.

Before i could do anything to this disgusting man Nayna's mom slapped him hard.

" you disgust me Ravi, you tried to kill someone, and a baby..." she said tears in her eyes.

" Tina... I... I" he tries to say but aunt Tina raise her hand to stop him.

She turned to me " Akash.... Son... I... I.. Am sorry we came here to bless your child and Riya.. But i didn't know that.... Even losing his own daughter he tried to kill someone else's child" she said..

She turned toward mom and dad " forgive me... I'll take him away feom here and make sure he will not cause any trouble just don't file a complain" she said.

Mom hugged aunt Tina and she left pulling Mr Kapoor with her.

I was still mad at myself.

" Akash you should go to Riya make her eat something.." Kunal said..

" Yes son.. Go" mom said.

I left a breath, how am i going to face her.

I went to my room, to see my angle sleeping in distress hugging her self... Scared.... Dry tear marks on her face...

I saw that she didn't even change...

I changed her clothes and saw that her feets had swelling. I started massaging them.

She stir in her sleep, after massaging her feet i sat beside her.

I caress her tummy..

"i am sorry little one" i said softly this time i didn't get response, guess my little one is angry for making her mumma cry.

I bend down to kiss my baby but suddenly was pushed harshly.

I looked at Riya shocked... She sat up suddenly and next her word made want to just kill my self.

"stay away from my baby".......!!
