RIYA'S (pov)

Something was tickling me near my neck, so i tried to wiggle but fail.

Opening my eyes i looked down what was holding me and a smile crept on my face.

Akash was holding me his hand around my waist and his face was buried in my neck his soft breath tickling me.

Turning around slightly i face him, he looks so cute in his sleep.

I started to trace his face with my fingers from his forehead to his thick eyebrow to his pointed nose and i put my hand on his cheek caressing it with my fingers.

'I love you ' i whisper softly, i recalled lasf night when i told him.

Flashback

"I LOVE YOU "

I finally said the three words with all my heart.

His face went blank but i would feel his heart beating faster, i can hear it, he opened his mouth to say something but close it again.

Finally his face broke into a smile, he hugged me and breathe out a laugh.

After few minutes he started to speak again "Riya.... I.... I..." i know what he is trying to say.

"shhhhhh.!! ....... I don't want you to say it back when you're not ready i can wait....!, all my life" cupping his face " i just wanted you to know that how much you mean to me"...

Akash laughs again "thank you baby......... Thank you for loving a broken man"....... He peck my lips "i promise you will never regret this" he said and again started preparing kisses on my face. And i was gald that the room was dark because my cheeks were on fire.

Giving me last kiss on my forehead. He pulled me towards him and we slept in each others arms.

End of flashback

I blow air near Akash ear and he stir a little loosing his grip on me, taking advantage of it i got up from bed.

Clock read 8.00 am, taking a white suit i went to take shower.

Once read i saw that Akash was still sleeping but now he had rolled on his stomach.

I went to kitchen and found mom was already there making coffee and papa reading newspapers.

"Good morning" i wish them.

"good morning dear"

"morning riyu" both said.

" Arvind.... Someone is glowing too much today" mom tease.

I instantly feel heat raise to my cheek.

"Nina..... Stop teasing my daughter like this don't forget when we got married you were glowing too" i bit my lips to stop my self from laughing at moms red face.

"where's Akash dear," papa asked. "still sleeping papa."

We three chatted while i made paratha for every one Akash favorite dish.

Soon Akash came looking fresh and handsome in his black suit.

I was staring at him but quickly divert my eyes i didnt want to get caught hawking at him.

Akash said morning to everyone and kissed ma on cheek before moving to me. My heartbeats picket up.

But he just looked through dish while i was making him coffee.

Soon we were seated on table when papa spoke.

"so Riya your ready to go to the office after 1 month?" i didnt knew i was going to office today so i looked at him.

"yes, today you're going yo join office"... He looked ay Akash.

"but you both can't declare your marriage right now" he asked.

Akash flown " But why Dad..?" he asked and even i wanted to know.

" i want to officially announce your marriage to media next week, so for now you both have to keep it a scret... "

"hmm and minimum romance at office" ma said teasing us.

All laugh at her and we finish breakfast.

Me and Akash left for office, as we sat in car as always Akash was busy talking on phone to some important clients.

In between brushing his hand on my cheek or holding my hand.

We reached office building in less then 10 minutes

As we got down Akash reached for my hand but i took my hand out of his reach, he looked at me a look of anger flash his eyes.

"remember what papa told us" i said quickly.

Sighing he nodded his head before we both entered the building i was little back from Akash as he used private elevator to reach his floor i went to reception to get new ID.

All of them welcome me and were surprised to see me again in office. Quickly greeting everyone i rushed to my cabin.

I arranged few things and then went to Akash cabin.

As i entered his cabin i saw Akash was busy reading some documents, while Aman standing near his desk, as soon as Aman saw me he shouted.

"Riya...!! And he came and engulfed me in a bear hug i laugh at his excitement and was above to hug him back.

When i saw Akash got up from his chair and was ready to explode at us judging by furious look in his eyes and sending daggers at our way.

Quickly patting Aman's back i pulled away from him.

"Riya... O my god.... You look more beautiful cupcake....... And i thought you were not going to join office again?......." he was above to say more but was stopped by Akash booming voice.

"AMAN....... This is not Garden were you meet your old lost friend..... Go do your work.."

Before Akash could say anything further Aman fly from office not before winking at me which was noticed by Akash.

As i saw him leave o heard a voice very near to me

" cupcake... Huh.! " o no...

Akash was standing in front of me now, glaring at me.

"Aman was excited to see me" i explained him,...

Is he jealous...?

"Don't take his side now......... And why the hell he was calling you with endearment..?" Akash asked annoyed, he sounded like a kid complaining that some one took he's favorite toy or something...

Taking a step close to him i hold of his hand and intertwined our fingers together.

He was so tall i reach his shoulder, he instantly pulled me by my waist and i put my head on his chest listening to his heart.

" i won't spare him next time if he came close to you....!, he even called you beautiful...!" he complain.

I smiled at his behavior my possessive husband...........

"OK, and Aman is like brother... Beside i know you won't fire him...! I know you like him.." the minute i said that Akash pulled me away..looking at me as if i am mad...

"Excuse me..... I don't like Aman

.."!! He said horrid, i laugh at his expression...

"not that kind of like, brotherly like," i told him.

He narrowed his eyes at me "you know i can fire him" he said again.

I just shook my head and turned around to leave when, Akash pulled me toward him my back facing him.

"Akash what... Are... You.. Doing.... Leave me.... What if someone comes..." i said while trying to free myself from his grip..

But he just tighten his hold on me, his Pam now flat on my tummy, he pushed my hair to other side.

"no one can enter my cabin without my permission" he said and kissed behind my ear.

"Akash.." i shutter...

"you have to make it up for me" he said and turned me around.

"but why.." I asked pushing at he's chest.

" stop it.!! " he said and hold my both hands.

" yes you have to give me something, or else i won't leave you " he said again his eyes sparkle with mischief...

" Akash.....!! " i said to make him understand what has gotten into him suddenly.

"kiss me" he said and my eyes came out of socket..

"no Akash, leave me, what if someone come" i tried to reason.

I know we kissed last night but i was feeling shy, beside yesterday when we kiss it was dark and now in light....

"so you not going to give me a kiss" he said looking sad now.

I shook my head no.

"ok then" before i can understand anything i found a pair warm lips pressed against mine.

He took my lower lips in his mouth, as he started kissing me. My hand fisted his suit for support.

I was on my toes now, Akash hand came around my waist as he lifted me up and walked to his table as he made me sit on it without breaking our kiss.

After caressing my lower lip he took my upper lip i was feeling lack of breath now.

We parted but Akash started giving me open mouth kisses on my neck.

Suddenly Akash office phone rang loudly, that made me jumb from table and i pushed Akash that he tumble back.

"Relax it just a phone" he said and walk around the his desk to pick it up, taking that change i collected the files which were needed and ran out of his cabin.

Once in my cabin i let out a breathe, smiling i touch my lips and they felt sensitive.

Aftet finishing files and sending important mails i headed to Akash cabin, my heart already beating faster.

I knocked and heard a faint come in i entered his cabin and saw he was in discussions with few employees from HR departments.

I smiled at them one was the head of department Mr Tanon, well and other was his assistants Max and Tina.

Akash stopped his conversation and gesture me to speak.

"sir the file are complete, i also send a mail reply to customers, I'll inform you further once I'll receive reply".

He nodded his head i put the files on his desk.

"Anything else, sir?!.." i asked.

"yes, my coffee please" i nodded at him and was above to leave when i was stopped by Ms Tina's voice.

"Excuse me sir, Riya..! Bring me glass of water also" she said i looked at her.

"Ok" i said and was started to leave.

"wait Riya.....".. Akash.....

I turned around and looked at him but he was shooting dagger at Tina... O.. No...

"Ms Tina,..... That is Riya ma'am for you, and she is my PA, so you better respect her".

"sir..." she was above to say

but he stopped her with his hand and picked up his intercom and dial.

"in my cabin now" he said before cutting it i wonder who did he called.

Mr Tanon's face looks serious while others two look nervous and scared.

Soon the cabin door opened and Aman came in panting.

"sirr.... Sirr you called...." he said catching his breath while looking at everyone.

"Mr Tanon, you know the rules in office are strict, regarding addressing the employees with their job positions, as the head of HR department it's your responsibility to inform the employees about it"

Me and Aman looked at each other wondering what's going on.

"today i called you hear because i wanted to discuss this matter and i won't tolerate such kind of behavior".

"it's not only about Riya here but i also heard few employees calling Aman by his frist name rather then addressing him as sir.....?!, not only this they give orders to him...!"

Akash said his voice raising with each sentence.

"Aman is my secretary, he deserves this place, and only takes my command and no one else, is that clear, same goes to Riya as well"

We all nodded "Ms Tina, Next time you watch out before you oder your superior here."

"Mr Tanon i want you to circular this in whole building and make sure they follow"

"now you three may leave" he said and they all hurried out of his office.

Once they left Akash turned towards Aman now and i heard Aman muttering i am dead. Now.

"Aman, make them respect you, i will not tolerate they taking advantage of your kind behavior,"

"now go, and stop smiling like fool"

I laugh at Aman as he closed his mouth, i know he must be proud, and happy.

As Aman left Akash told me to come near him i walked to him.

"i am thinking to shift your cabin in my office"

I opened my mouth "what, why..?"

"because you ran away from me to that stupid cabin of your"

"what....!! my cabin is not stupid" i said narrowing my eyes at him.

He pulled me towards him "lets go home, i am done for today i have some important work which ill do it from home and beside we have holiday tomorrow as it is public holiday" he said.

I agreed with him it is Thursday today that means 3 days holiday.

"I'll bring my purse" i said and we both left from office on the way home we had lunch in a nice restaurant.

Akash didn't knew i was pure vegetarian.

We reached his condo, our home..! I thought when i was above to go to my room Akash pulled me.

"where do you think your going wife"? He asked it feels so nice when he calls me wife.

I pointed towards my room "my room" i said he shook he's head and pulled me towards he's room.

I entered and saw that the room i Frist saw was totally different, instead of Nayna's pictures there were some pictures of me and Akash, he's and mine childhood photos and a big frame from a wedding day were me and Akash was looking at each other's eyes.

"you liked it"..... Akash asked me hugging me from behind.

I turned in his arms now facing him i cupped his cheek and raise on my toes and kissed his forehead "i loved it" i said with a big smile.

"i also brought all your things from grandma's house its in other room" he said and i was so overwhelmed that tears ran down my cheek.

" don't cry baby....! This is just a start.." he said wiping my tears. I hugged him.

"go fresh up i am in study room ok" he said and left.

I kept smiling looking at him.

Akash (pov)

After getting fresh and changing into home clothes i sat in study room to complete some pending work.

My thoughts drift to Riya after every few minutes, she is my light in darkness. When she said I love you i was numb, because i had never thought that she will love me after knowing everything about me and in the situation we got married.

She throughly is an angle and her kisses were the best, sweetest thing i ever tasted, a smile crept on my lips.

Shaking my head i must concentrate on work for a while...

Hours later i stretch my arms and got up wondering were Riya was.

I went to our bedroom but she was not there and neither in kitchen or living room.

Then i heard a voice, a whimper from Riya's room, worried i walk and opened the door slightly, i saw Riya sitting on bed a wooden box in her left hand and a photograph in right hand.

I walked toward her and sat next to her she may have sence my presence, because she put the box down on other side of bed and slightly turned away from me wiping her tears hurriedly.

I put my hands on her shoulder and turned her around to face me.

She kept her eyes down, fresh tears running down her cheek, which stab my heart, i hate it when she cry. Make me angry on myself that i fail to keep her happy.

Cupping her face in my hands i wipe her tears with my thumb, her face was already red due ti crying.

"what happen,?.." i asked softly. Rubbing my fingers on her soft skin.

"nothing"... She said quietly i pulled her to me by her waist and hugged her.

Taking in her Bule berry scent, i kissed her hair before asking again, i know she don't share her worry with anyone but i have to make her open to me, in order to take her sadness away.

"tell me baby.....!" i said again.

She pulled away and took the box again on her lap. She opened it and i was few old things in it.

"these are my parents things and their photo"

She removed an old watch and said "this belongs to my papa" then she remove a beautiful anklet "this ma use to wear, isn't it beautiful?" she asked... I node at her.



"i wear it in some occasions, it makes me feel near her"

She removed a photograph with a young couple the lady in photo took similar to Riya, i guess these are her parents.

"ma and papa" she whisper, i can understand her pain i rubbed her arms. When she started to sob.

"you know Akash, when i look at these photos i feel like i don't know them my grandma gave it to me saying these are your parents, but i don't know i sometimes feel who i am looking at some lady and man." she sob... And my heart hurt for her.

"i don't have their memory, i don't remember them. Akash i feel like i am pointing at some strangers in photo and declaring them as my parents."

Her sobs getting louder by each words.

I took the box and put everything back in it, i don't want her to sit and crt over old memories.

Lifting her up in my arms i took her to our bedroom.

Keeping her down on bed i sat next to her.

" promise me something Riya." i said looking at her brown eyes.

"promise me that you will not cry over your past life, not cry what you missed" i said

"promise me that, you will make new memories with me, and only happy memories" i said all the wile looking into her eyes.

"Promise" she says softly kissing my hand which was on her cheek.

Smiling at her i was above to taste her lips but she stopped me.

"we needed to go for groceries shopping the kitchen is empty, i need to cook" saying this she got up from bed.

"ok, will go now get ready but before that...!" i stopped and finally kissed her.
