The glass was broken, and even the "red wine" was spilled. Su Li, who tripped over the carpet because of panic, looked at the man who was approaching step by step. His only thought was to get up and run.
But for some reason, most of his body was numb, as if his entire body was pinned to the spot by the man's icy gaze, unable to move.
Ge Yin's eyes fell on the "red wine" spilled on the ground, and the teeth on his lips seemed to tremble.
His voice was still steady, obviously he couldn't hear any anger, but it just fell into Su Li's ears, and there was a sense of coldness for no reason, "Little guy, I overturned my wine, but there is a price to pay."
"I, I didn't do it on purpose."
Su Li subconsciously shrank back, as if he could escape the oppression of the other party.
Ge Yin bent down slowly, as if an elegant gentleman was inviting a lady to dance, and stretched out a hand towards Su Li.
Su Li looked at the paper-white hand that was reaching out to him in a daze, and refused in his heart, but for some reason, he still placed his hand on it.
It was as if his head had been stunned, and his body had also been stunned, and he couldn't even think of any resistance for a while.
The hand, which was a full circle larger than his, quickly gathered up, withdrew its strength, and lightly pulled him up from the ground. Before Su Li could react, another cold hand touched his neck. , "If it's overturned, just make it up."
Su Li vaguely understood his intention, and he couldn't help raising his hand to cover his neck, his voice trembling, "Make up, make up for what?"

Ge Yin smiled lowly , as if looking at a little fool who clearly guessed but still refuses to accept the reality, "Of course it's to make up for the red wine I want."
"No, it's illegal for you to do this, let me tell you! The hostages are kidnapped, blood is drawn, and , and pretending to be a ghost to scare people! Don't think I'll be afraid of you, if you do this again, I'll call the police!"
Hearing that the other party really wanted to drink his blood, Su Li panicked and got a little incoherent, broke free from Ge Yin's hand, regardless of whether his legs were filled with lead or not, he rushed towards the door!
In the darkness, Ge Yin's teeth seemed to tremble again, and the root of his teeth became more and more itchy. When he saw the palm of his hand that had been emptied, he finally restrained the faint smile at the corner of his mouth.
When he was about to run to the front of the door, Su Li only felt a cool breeze approaching quickly behind him, a hair on his back instantly, and the next second, his entire body was locked by two arms!
Before he could exclaim, the sullen man pressed him on the door with force, and the cold and white face quickly pressed down towards his neck!
"Don't—" Su Li's eyes widened suddenly, his back was hurt by the door panel, but what followed was a more obvious pain on the right side of his neck!
For a moment, Su Li only felt that the blood in his body was surging in the direction of his neck, the pain that could not be ignored, even made him have no time to care about the discomfort of being rubbed by the man's lips and teeth, and there was only one word left in his heart to scream wildly: escape!

But the man's two arms, like a huge iron hoop, locked him to the door, let alone escape, he couldn't even struggle.
I don't know how long it took, anyway, in Su Li's view, it seemed like a century had passed. Ge Yin finally pulled his teeth out of his flesh and slowly backed away from his face.
The face no longer seemed so pale, and the four sharp teeth exposed were still stained with scarlet. He raised his head slightly, closed his eyes, and seemed to be a little intoxicated, "It really is much more delicious than the wine glass..."

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
