*Colby parked his car relatively close to the entrance of the mall. Colby turned his car off as you unbuckled yourself and hopped out of the red Toyota corolla and walked hand-in-hand with your boyfriend into the mall. you walked into the food court because Katrina said that her and Sam were there waiting for you. you looked around the food court and saw Kat waving at you*

Y/n: over there.

*you said pointing at Kat waving you over with a massive smile on her face. you let go of Colby's hand and ran over to Kat as she was also running. you both met in the middle and embraced each other while squealing. When you pulled away, you looked over at Colby who was laughing with Sam. you and Kat both walk over to the boys and sit down at the table*

Colby: I think the girls are excited.

*Colby said to Sam*

Sam: nah, I don't think so.

*Sam said making us all laugh.*

Kat: So, I was thinking that we live together in the same apartment building as the boys just different apartments but still close to the boys 'cause we all know how the boys can't be apart from us for more than 30 minutes.

*Kat said making you both laugh*

Colby/Sam: hey!

*you and Kat laughed*

Y/n: so it's settled, Kat and I in one apartment and you two in another one.

Colby: but the apartments have to be close by though

Y/n: yeah.

*you said with a little chuckle*

Kat: as we're already at the mall, can we go shopping.

Y/n: yes!

*Sam and Colby groaned*

Y/n: we'll make sure to stop at Hot topic and one of Sam's favourite stores

Colby/Sam: Yes!

*Sam and Colby said fist bumping and getting up. you all get up and head to Macy's first.*

~Half an Hour Later~

*you have gone to a few stores and it was now time to go to Hot topic. Once Hot topic came into view, you looked over at Colby*

Y/n: race you!

*you said running towards Hot topic. you heard Colby yell and run after you but you didn't look back. you ran into Hot topic and looked back at the others seeing Colby only just arrive and Sam and Kat still pretty far away. you then feel your phone vibrate in your back pocket. you take it out and saw that Kat had texted you*

Kat💛: Sam and I are going to his favourite store while you guys are in there

Kat💛: We'll meet you back at the food court

Y/n🖤: okay sounds good

*You close your phone and put it back in your pocket. you look around and see that Colby wasn't there anymore. you turn around and saw that he was in the beanies and accessories area so you walked over to him*

Y/n: I look away for one second and you're already getting a new beanie.

*you said laughing*

Colby: haha, very funny

*Colby said. you looked over at the beanies and saw a simple black one that Colby didn't have yet, so you grabbed it and then walked over to the band tee's. you picked out a guns 'n' roses, an ACDC and a Green day shirt. you then met with Colby in the jeans section with two pairs of black ripped jeans in his hand*

Y/n: you got everything?

Colby: yeah

*Colby said turning around and walking to the cash register with you. Colby insisted on paying for both his and your stuff, but you some how convinced him that you could pay for your things. you both walked out of Hot topic and met up with Sam and Kat in the food court, again. you all grabbed something to eat and once everyone finished eating, you all said your goodbyes and went your seperate ways. when you got to Colby's car, you dug though your Hot topic bag and grabbed out the black beanie and when Colby wasn't looking, you but it on his head and over his face on accident making you laugh.*

Colby: what the - did you get me this?

Y/n: mhm

*you said with a smile on your face*

Colby: thank you

*Colby said putting it on and kissing you softly. he pulled away and started driving.*

Colby: my place?

*Colby asked not taking his eyes off of the road*

Y/n: just to get Poppy, I have to go home

Colby: okay, do you want me to stay with you for a bit?

Y/n: yes please

*you said. Colby then rested his hand on your thigh for the rest of the drive. Colby pulled into his driveway and you got out and got Poppy as Colby stayed in the car. you grabbed Poppy and her stuff and walked back to Colby's car. you placed Poppy on the floor and Colby started driving again. As soon as Colby pulled up in your driveway, anxiety kicked in and Colby noticed*

Colby: hey, it's okay you have me and Poppy with you

*Colby said placing his hand on your thigh and kissing your temple, calming you down*

Y/n: okay

*you said picking Poppy up and getting out of the car. you dug through your backpack and grabbed your keys out and unlocked the front door. as you walked through the door with Poppy in your arms and Colby right behind you, you saw your mom and her boyfriend. Colby closed the door behind him, as you took off your shoes and left them in the doorway trying to ignore the laughter coming from your mom in the living room. you then put Poppy down and let her off the leash and started walking to the stairs.*

Mom: oh, hey honey

*you didn't respond. you and Colby just kept walking up the stairs and to your room*
